  1. He should be because a good coach will Platoon him and get the max potential out of what's left. He could have 2-3 good years left.
  2. Except it isn't one season. Eli threwout his career is either good or awful. He is IMO way to inconsistent to be Elite, franchise sure. Also Eli if you watched the games looked ok, but he would strike fear in no good team. He also had a sub par year because just LOOK at the WR talent he had and he did his average. You put Cruz and OBJ with ANY of the other elites and not only do they have career years so does that QB and I dare say they break records. I have never heard ANYONE call Eli Elite. No one has ever ranked him in the top 5 anywhere. So no even last year he was not Elite.
  3. Gugny, How could you put Eli in the ELITE category? He had one of his worst years ever and he has always been a turnover machine.
  4. Hoyer not on the list so was. O need to compare. I think TT is def a game manager, as he will not cost you a game but you really can't expect him to carry the team either.
  5. If Cutler is your QB, the Bills go anywhere from 2-14 to 4-12 next year. Assuming he actually makes it threw the year. Also a lot of blow outs as that man is a turn over machine and confused very easily.
  6. I wouldn't want Tannehill as my QB. Million dollar arm, ten cent teammate and QB smarts. (I personally lost a lot of respect when it came out he yelled at PS CB for daring to intercept him. Meanwhile Brady applauded said actions. Which helped Malcolm Butler become a very good CB, just imagine how Tannahill act effected the CB he yelled at.) I take Taylor as my QB every day and twice on Sunday before Tannahill.
  7. I would put bridgewater in : "too early to know" or the "Next Gen" myself.
  8. Wow! Very impressive.. i have Manning, Rivers, Flacco on the downslope if they have another year like this year. But a great list! And very accurate IMO
  9. I purposely left them out of my post to show the hypocracy of the league IF they let the Hawks slide while hammering other teams on first offenses. I will say it wasn't a big deal but the league has to start showing SOME consistency and the day they do anything more than fine the Jets for their activities is the day after the NFL HQ was cleaned out of old Jet cronies. Oh I firmly believe (aka IMO) if this was BB who did this people be calling for his suspension, multiple draft picks lost, and millions of dollars in fines. And BB has only been caught once violating a rule. (Spygate, even the Wells Report exonerated him on the football thing.) So let's see what Goodell does here..
  10. I like what Woody said this is the FOURTH time the Hawks been caught violating a rule. (2nd time in 3 years) and a 2nd round pick is actually TOO LIGHT. When you consider they took a 3rd and a 6th rounder from Atlanta for tampering and it was a first offense. (meanwhile the Jets got caught doing the same thing w Revis which was a 3rd offense for the same crime and only got fined.. hmm) If the league is serious about punishing multi offenders harder they need prove it now, otherwise it's a bunch of Bull and they just pick and choose who to punish hard.
  11. lol no problem, I know how that works. I was going from my research, where 7 of the last 10 draft classes had a Franchise QB. Mind you that is very subjective based on your definition of a franchise QB.
  12. Even by YOUR math it's a 70% chance a franchise QB could be drafted this year. The odds of drafting said QB is 11%. I actually DID the math!
  13. Brees isn't going anywhere. The Saints need him to sell tickets.
  14. Ok I did the math. Since from 2005 - 2015 there have been 127 QBs drafted, of those QBs 15 are absolute Franchise QBs making it about a 12% chance to draft a Franchise QB. There were 3 drafts with 0 Franchise Level QBs. So using this small sample size imthere is a 70% chance there is at least 1 Franchise QB in this draft.
  15. That was WAY to much math for a Simple equation. The truth is an average is NOT what you just stated. An average is simply this if there are 12 Franchise QBs out of 12 drafts that equals 1 per draft wether it came all in 1 draft class or if it was literally every single class. IMO it should be the number of QB's who are Franchise QB divided by the total number QBs drafted to get your true percentage of getting one.
  16. The QB class is weak this year... why I can see some team being stupid and trading to much for either a broken down old QB (like Roman) or a QB who showed ability to excel in limited action (like Jimmy G. Or the Steelers backup Landry Jones) my gutt says at least one crazy trade for a backup happens during or just before the draft.
  17. lol I expect nothing less I will still be there cheering my cold white butt off for a win. But no matter what I am gonna enjoy the ride as it is getting close to the end.
  18. Got love the media.. run with any stupid story. Although I am shocked Chef (Tomlin) threw him under the bus like he did.
  19. He can make every throw, he is a good QB. I am not sure if he is a special WB but he will probably be an average QB with a good HC. ( the one in ND sucks!)
  20. In all seriousness if they want the refs be better and speed up the game is a simple fix. Make the refs FULL TIME employees so they can learn all the rules and be trained how the NFL wants. This way you will get consistency and a lot less head scratching. I think it is vastly unreasonable to expect a part time employee (who has a full time job) to learn and INDERSTAND every rule the NFL has as well as UNDERSTAND what the intent was behind the rule.
  21. Ahh my bad then. Totally missed it
  22. Which is why he probably stays there or retires.
  23. Per Pete Carroll, Sherman was playing with an ACL injury most of the year.. just an FYI
  24. Assessing a penalty for a player complaining about a call or non call is beyond idiotic. These are human beings out there who are emotionally vested. (I hope) they should be allowed to display and argue a bad call/non call.. If you want to speed up the game is simple.. Allow them to play football without having so many ticky tacky rules to enforce.
  25. As the SF owner said "you may want fire the owner but that just isn't how it works, your stuck with me!" With that little smirk on his face makes ya want to slap him.. but the owner wanted Osweiler.
