  1. they wont tho how long did they give rob johnson? jp losman? trent edwards? ryan fitzpatrick?
  2. this is a very poor argument there are bad QBs drafted and started all the time by people that have a lifetime of experience at some point you have to use your own eyes and make your own opinion and not just swallow whatever they give you
  3. how does this joker make this thread right after luck throws for 300+ yards and 4 tds lol
  4. Sometimes you end up caught in a relationship that is no good for you. Sure, there were some good times, there were some great times even. But somewhere along the way, the fire went out and you realized it would never be what you wanted it to be. Maybe you can call it being stubborn and foolish, maybe you could call it being committed and loyal, but either way you just couldn't find a way out. At a certain point you become almost numb to it, and accept the failed nature of things and resign yourself to an unfulfillling future. Oh, Buffalo. We'll stay together for the kids, and on some level I'll always have true feelings for you. I'm not a quitter and I'll die wearing our ring, but there will always just be that hollow empty feeling looming over everything, because deep downside we both know the truth.
  5. and next year he will still suck but do just enough to squeak in for that third season
  6. marrone sucks and manuel sucks everyone can see it plain as day team will go nowhere until they are gone the next guys probably will suck too but this regime has zero potential
  7. If you don't think EJ will be the Bills starter next year, you are either delusional or ill informed about NFL football. After investing the pick, if he does ANYTHING next year, they will bring him back for a third season. It's hard to get rid of these guys (ie: Sanchez). After the 2015 season, they will finally release Manuel and Marrone will be fired that offseason as well. So set your on the 2016 NFL draft, that is the next opportunity for hope for the franchise. Maybe Bon Jovi will own the team then...
  8. bunch of people unable to adapt to change in this thread really no different than old people sitting around grousing about the younger generation
  9. the thing about jones/boldin is that so far we have seen good things from woods and goodwin and stevie aint goin anywhere
  10. im not even sold that EJ is any good long yet to be honest, but nonetheless i think that with all things considered the Bills franchise right now has an overall better QB situation than: Jets Browns Raiders Titans Jaguars Texans Vikings and perhaps even Dolphins Bengals Buccaneers Redskins 49ers Cardinals Rams but we are still clearly behind Patriots Ravens Steelers Broncos Chiefs Chargers Colts Saints Panthers Falcons Lions Bears Packers Cowboys Eagles Giants Seahawks
  11. the bills only need ONE free agent and his name is jairus byrd everything else they are better off building through the draft given the options that are out there and the team needs
  12. goodell won't stop until he has completely destroyed the nfl
  13. i'd take a second round pick for stevie if we could get it but no one would give us that and for the third or fourth rounder we could actually get i'd rather just keep stevie
  14. no at first i thought ej was better but now it seems like geno is better
  15. after seeing geno absolutely ball out on monday night and to have EJ already battling a second major leg injury in his very short career makes it sure seem like one team got it right and one team got it wrong although its not realistic, if you could somehow trade EJ for Geno today would, would you do it?
  16. why is fred jackson not an option? he's the current backup qb
  17. told you guys powell was bad sometimes you have to use your own judgement not just look at stats that was some poor punting out there in cleveland tonight
  18. Carpenter/Hopkins are both fine but POWELL is a DISASTER. Worst punter in the league.
  19. Are you talking about the end of the first half? That was a faux pas by the Bills not the Ravens. By the Bills not calling timeout with 30 seconds left on 4th down and forcing the Ravens to punt, they allowed the Ravens to run the clock down to almost zero and safely go for it on the last play. If the Bills had called timeout with 30 second left, the Ravens never would have been able to try a potential hail mary situation on 4th down. Great game management by Harbaugh, a little misstep for the Marrone that didn't prove costly. This kind of stuff is mostly lost on Bills fans.
  20. There are a lot of people in this thread that are either bad at math or have very little understanding of basic football strategy. They didn't want to run at the end because our RBs were knicked up but more importantly why risk a fumble? They had to dawdle and delay the kneels so that they would punt the ball back to the Ravens with only a few seconds instead of the Ravens getting the ball with more than 10 seconds. If you don't see this you just need to double check your mental math. When EJ is a intentionally not kneeling right away he is an active runner. The first kneel the Ravens didn't really notice, the second kneel they caught on and hit him and it was legit, and the third kneel Suggs went too far and got penalized. This was all good game management by the coaches.
  21. its good that he's working on it but maybe it's something he should have worked on before he became an NFL quarterback also
  22. Don't forget Erik Pears! He was an undrafted free agent many years ago who has bounced around a few different teams including Oakland and Jacksonville. Worst possible pedigree?
  23. the jets are not a good team and the bills lost to the jets the bills can easily lose to anyone count any win as a blessing
