BB legit like - fires people for fumbling. That's my theory on why people don't fumble. They know they won't be on the team if they do. You gotta establish your spot with that team to be able to fumble and still play.

With what we carry over from 2015 - and what we'd gain by cutting mario, leodis, and KW. We should have room to keep glenn and incognito. The problem is plugging the holes on defense we created. That means finding a pass rusher, CB depth, and a solid nose tackle. And that's just filling the gaps on an 8-8ish team. Now for upgrades: ILB - We need 2 new ones - or at least 1 MUCH better one. Powell being back next year should drastically help with depth. Bringing bradham back is also a depth move. I'd like to see a big upgrade here. I'm not totally down on PB - just mostly down on him. Safety - Lack of depth here killed us. Rambo has been pretty solid - he at the very least becomes our 3rd safety - who actually plays a fair amount in a rex defense. AW assumedly keeps his spot if he wants it. Need a solid guy here - preferably a leader not a penalty machine (we have enough of those). Pass rusher - mentioned before - need a serious upgrade here though. Speed and a willingness to read the field. Marios 6'6 and ive yet to see him bat a ball down, read a screen, do anything he needs to on this defense. Screams of selfishness and a need for sacks. Its about more than just getting to the QB, its about disrupting the entire offense. On offense, if we can keep the line mostly intact, I'd add a solid WR for depth, or a dedicated slot guy. Look at upgrading the right side - especially with henderson's chrons disease. Backup QB could be something to consider, but EJ has a year in the offense and no one good is available - maybe a late flier in the draft. And per usual - draft a CB because... passing league.

Were we going to win a super bowl THIS year?? probably not... Were we then going to have to walk away from mario KW, and probably bradham? Probably... So the rebuilt defense was essentially planned before we hired rex. We were already going to have to draft heavily for defense this year.

You didn't answer his questions of who or what... you're just convinced its the right strategy. Despite almost everyone in the front office voluntarily losing their jobs.

It's timing the tank. Making sure we dump a lot of salary all at once - be terrible that one year. Get the QB, then start building around him. This only works if there is a cant miss guy though.

His cap hit is almost 20. And you free up like 13. You have to eat the dead money to make room for signings. Plus we don't know what the cap for next season will be.

They blocked a punt at our 15 down 5 - and somehow didn't score a point. And lost the game by that same score. Our offense was the reason we almost lost. But again - we didn't lose. We won.

They won't do playoff damage - cuz we're gonna beat them in the finale. In a probably close to empty stadium, in a meaningless game.

We did beat them... and our defense looked pretty stout in that game believe it or not. They also have to go through 2 divisional opponents in the last 3 games (Which they lost the previous game).... including NE who wants home field advantage. Their playoff shot is way tougher than KC or Pitts.

Looking at 2016 - they are going to have a tough time keeping some players. 32 mil in 3 corners 18 mil in wr's 14 mil tied up in ferguson - he's likely cut. Theyre probably losing wilkerson - and plugging in leonard williams. Fitz will get an extension - which will pay him probably considerably. 1 year away from paying sheldon richardson. They also seem a bit top heavy looking at their roster - and are having a very healthy year. We'll see - we need help too

The amount of Duke Williams in 2015 is comparable to the amount of Justin Rogers in 2013. Both are very terrible. It has an effect on stats i'm sure.

Players coaches like to let the players hold each other accountable. It's clear nobody is doing it.

That's a tough blow - at least he's a naturally big dude so it shouldnt be too hard to pack the pounds back on. Lots of food you have to avoid with that. Can't drink anymore either. Once he has it all back under controll he should be fine.

I think there is the Accountability hardass - but there also needs to be an approach-ability that marrone never had. He didn't take suggestions - didnt listen to anyone. Needed to have his hand in everything and for it to be his way. Thats not a good coaching strategy either.

I never understood why he wouldn't play end. In the nickel zone blitz schemes, you HAVE to occaisionally cover as an OLB. We usually only have 2 down linemen in those formations with 4 backers. I'd rather have a mario/dareus combo out there with another speedier player than what we have - but we gotta make do. And for those who say it doesnt work - pittsburgh, baltimore, even GB have shown that it certainly can work.

Just looking at the end of the eagles game - he wasn't given time to go through his progressions. If he had time - it didn't matter because we were holding.
