  1. Or who was snapping the ball ? My favorite thing about that was that he picked up the first on like 3rd and forever
  2. Levi is free garbage... he's also 24.
  3. Hence... buying low. Little to no guarantee - still have wallace. There's quite a few buy low type candidates. Buffalo only carried 4 last year for the most part with neal as nickel depth and primary special teams. There will likely be another on the practice squad. I'm not opposed to a trumaine johnson, or a jason verrett type of buy low with little to no guarantee. If they don't make the team out of camp its not harming the team to bring them in. I'd just like them also to sign someone else thats capable of starting, like a bradberry or something. 4 out of 5 DB spots are locked in, and wallace is still - pretty good. Why not try and improve that position though and the depth there. I'd rather write off dead money but end up with a really good player. Sign 3 and cut 2 - doesn't matter to me!
  4. Kevin johnson might actually be more expensive than this guy.
  5. Some sort of transportation from other areas would be huge. Metro rail gets you like... 15-20 minute walk away - which isn't really ideal. Buses with traffic down there... ubers... some semblence of tailgaiting - its all tough. Good thing Pegulas have a strong relationship with local government.
  6. Don't forget on core golf thing... and just the general first ward development. I get it - there's essentially a waterfront there for the taking. But can they like.. make it cleaner? I'm usually grossed out whenever im like boating on the river down there.
  7. Yeah - I'm sure they can do some kind of tray system or something - i know nothing about artificial turf. I do know that they just re-did the fieldhouse turf in OP and i still hate it. So spongey. On the plus side - they wont need to build a fieldhouse/practice facility downtown.
  8. They actually have natural grass believe it or not... If you wanted to do car shows or something you'd have to figure something out. Turf or grass can get wrecked pretty quickly by something like that.
  9. Thats a fair statement - but some of the promises are BS. The jobs you bring are all temporary - construction - temp workers to do concessions 15 times a year. The economic impact can be questionable too - parking, concessions, tickets... all that profit goes to the owners. I'm sure local businesses get a boost, but again were talking 10-15 times a year.
  10. Right - Don't get married or date someone seriously if that's the life you want to live. Not even a yankee fan, but Jeter never really had any issues like this... because what was the worst thing you could say? I slept with jeter, and he'd be like... i dunno - probably?
  11. How much cash does one make off of a full house bieber concert - or a wrestlemania etc.? Like - how many events does it make sense to run? I imagine food service, staffing are a huge PITA.
  12. I like the Frank Lloyd Wright idea - or maybe a modern take on art deco to sync up with city hall? I dunno - something with some character i suppose. I just dont like the idea of like - full on replicating it. Like - modernize it. Use it for inspiration.
  13. Yep - Major infrastructure changes will need to take place... Lot of public money will have to be poured into this whether the pegulas are buying the stadium or not. I do think since PSLs probably don't work here to the extent they need to, public money will get put into it. Conway park would be my pick? Build some moveable bridges, and you have a ton of parking. Rip down the projects and you have even more - plus what you have for sabres games etc. I would assume a garage is on the table? Maybe another hotel - near the casino? There is a lot to think about there.
  14. Yeah - guys always got a sore groin, or back, or foot or something.
  15. If i was just getting the player (and he is vastly overrated), I'd be fine with it. You unfortunately also get the person, and the person is very egotistical and self-absorbed.
  16. Apparently this board has a college football gambling problem ? I liked Tyler Johnson from like - the non-big programs i watched. Guy was a beast in the outback bowl against auburn too - had that 1 handed catch.
  17. Somehow caldwell and marrone are still in charge there. I doubt they're going to convince khan that cutting a bunch of people then immediately spending the generated cap space trying to patch the holes is in his best interest. I think they'll try to keep the band mostly together for one more go around to try and keep their jobs. Draft a ramsey replacement, try and improve the offensive line. If the Yannick 3rd rounder is in 2020 its already a lot more valuable than the comp pick if it helps them this year.
  18. Yes. Take advantage of the desperation, and make st. dougs team worse...
  19. I'd do a 6th in a second for campbell. Guys played every game the last 5 years. Lead all linemen on the jags in snaps the last 3 years too. I don't think he's like - all-pro anymore but he's still a productive player. There's no long-term commitment either. If you want the cap space back you can just cut him, but I think he's a better player than anyone else we have at DE.
  20. Have to agree... The only issue is tagging him costs 18+ million. Dareus and linder free up 28, leaving them with like 7 after tagging him (they currently are over the cap. So they'll either have to cut more people, or skip free agency while they try and trade him. Hayden, Campbell, Bouye, Lee, Jones - Any combination of those guys could be on the chopping block. I know you can always create cap space by pushing salary into bonuses and stuff - this isn't a team to do that. Flawed team in flux. I'd tag him and try and extend him - he's 24. Cut Hayden, Campbell, Lee and free up another 26 million so you can build out some depth. Target oline in FA, and try and build the defense in the draft?
  21. The issue is - if you want to pay a back 22 million over 2 years you can do that with drake or gordon and not have to give up anything. And they're on a crunched timeline as i assume the bonus pays out on the 3rd day of the league year.
  22. They would need someone to eat the roster bonus - so trading team then pays him 13 million in 2020, plus 9 in 2021. Good luck finding a partner for that... It would take another team dumping a bad contract back and some pick swaps. The 5 mill in space doesn't really do much for them either - like that isn't bringing in an impact player. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/los-angeles-rams/todd-gurley-16734/
  23. Well the Hill extension kicks in next year so... he's probably gone. As soon as he's cut ever WR wants to play there too. Could have Anderson, or Sanders - and save cap space.
  24. I think they will sign someone. Hyde, Drake, Breida - even howard
