  1. No I really didn't know what it was but I'm starting to think it has something to do with the 50th aniversary and stuff... IDK you're right... It's late and I'm tired... I think this is like my 20th post today I'm trying to get my post numbers higher is all lol
  2. Also we should have been took a look at Kamar Aiken instead of declaring Brad Smith a wide receiver
  3. What's so significant about 2003 and the Bills? That we finished 6-10? Or that we beat NE 31-0 in the beginning of the season only to lose to them 31-0 and the end?
  4. jest (jst) n. 1. A playful or amusing act; a prank. See Synonyms at joke. 2. A frolicsome or frivolous mood: spoken in jest. 3. An object of ridicule; a laughingstock. 4. A witty remark. v. jest·ed, jest·ing, jests v.intr. 1. To act or speak playfully. 2. To make witty remarks. 3. To utter scoffs; gibe. v.tr. To make fun of; ridicule. You making fun of what I said dude, I didn't retaliate that bad and then you tell me to take it eazy when I'm pretty relaxed... You attacking me instead of my picks... Are you telling me that the 4 picks I chose is not good? Cuz I still don't know what you were laughing at
  5. IDK why you're laughing at my picks... My picks aren't to say that I would have picked them then, it means if I knew the outcome of the players now which we do and could go back in time that's what I would pick retard....
  6. 1. Pierre-Paul 2. Sean Lee 3. Jimmy Graham 4. Toss up between (Aaron Hernandez and Joe McKnight)
  7. Maybe so but there's some thing in Chan that I like which maybe makes me not hear the uhh's and errr's and emmm's... His voice at least has levels... Like a little soft to a little louder basically volume 1-5 or maybe even 6 I've heard it... He definitely hasn't reached 10 at all he's not that type... But Kelsay on the other hand has all the uhhhh's and errrr's at level 2... Dude just sounds dead... This would be Kelsay in the huddle at level 2... "OK uhhhhh let's uhhh get to the QB guys uhhh break on two 1 uhhh 2 BREAK"
  8. Everytime I hear this dude give an interview he has no emotion... He's just like ughhhhhhh uhhhhhh yeah we're pretty upset at how things have turned out uhhhhh uhhhhhhhhh we need to do a better job at getting to the QB... Not that I've heard him after a win but I'm sure he'd be like yeah uhhhhh uhhhh you know we just uhhh executed the gamplan perfectly and uhhhh uhhhhhh guys stepped up to the plate this week and uhhh it shows that practice pays offf... Shut the hell up man and this is one of the veterans on our team... A supposed leader... Oh God please help me... Idk if I'm crazy but I'd rather have the same losing record with a little more emotional players rather than have zombies on the team....
  9. The Jets are definitely not a few players away from the super bowl especially after seeing how they played and are still playing this year... They somehow just like the Bills also don't know how to keep their key players on the team and gain talent the year after but at the cost of losing talent... If there was such a thing as luck in this world then I believe the Jets have had it the past two years and maybe even this year but I think their luck is running out...
  10. Just like Maybin wasn't good, or Jim Leanord and Jabari Greer and Takeo Spikes and London Fletcher and Jon Corto at special teams and Anthony Hargrove and Nate Clements and Antoine Winfield and Pat Williams... We have talent on this team that seems to shine on other teams for a reason and in some cases we KNOW we have the talent but don't pay them what they deserve yet we're here looking for a guy to replace Nate Clements years after he's gone and basically drafted another Pat Williams in Kyle Williams and are still looking for endless linebackers and still don't have a solid O-line... We definitely can draft and find talent we just don't know how to utilize their talents or how to keep them financially satisfied...
  11. See... The human part of my brain says you're right and the fan in me wishes you're wrong... Let it be luck or let it be anything else, we're still fans and every year we wanna reach success just like any other team. I understand Ralph may be cheap and this guy cant draft or that guy can't coach. What i also know is that the guys we DO have on the team don't wanna lose. I haven't really seen humility in the players faces like I've wanted to, but I'm just hoping that that's just them trying to keep their own heads leveled. I love Fred Jackson for the simple fact that he shows his expression on his face. I've never been one to mask my emotions and I felt and still feel that the Bills represent the type of guy that I am. Underdogs without much to lose and everything to gain but the only difference is that their hopes and dreams are right there for the taking come every Sunday yet they let us down... That's where the frustration as a fan comes in... I understand when your oponent is more talented than you that it will take close to a miracle to win but also as a believer in history and a believer in God, the story of David and Goliath and countless other military wars where the odds were against people, they strategically overcame and the so called underdog beat the favorite... We really do need to bulk up and more talent... I just hope one day we'll make the playoffs... Idc about superbowls like the players say they play for... Reaching it and winning it is great but Idk what it feels like to be in the playoffs anymore... That's really all I want... Get us to the playoffs and have us in the hunt for the playoffs year after year like all the great teams in this league and if we miss a year here and there we won't be as miserable... At least I think we won't... Then again we've gotten our hearts broken so many times that sometimes it takes more than just a simple apology or in the Bills case a "single" playoff appearance to right all the wrongs... It's just tough to be us but we're still here and I doubt with the love we have that we'll be going anywhere as fans... If there are some that decide they don't wanna follow the Bills anymore i clearly understand but it's also good they left cuz I don't want those guys as fans anyway...
  12. I'm definitely in the middle as far as your comment on Ralph and it will be talked about until the day he dies and after he dies he will be remembered as a Hall of Fame owner who brought a team to the great city of Buffalo... Does he want the Bills to do good? Obviously... Does he make the best decisions as far as hiring the right people? No... You gotta start from the heart and then judge the decision in my opinion... Even in personal relationships, you love someone but along the way you treat them bad or let's say make a wrong decision or a decision that can hurt the relationship. That's how i feel Ralph is. I havent met too many 90 plus year old people (met yes but actually sat down and talked to day after day no) but my guess is that a man his age can't make a reasonable decision even if he wanted to... How smart can you be at that age let's be serious. Would you trust Ralph to drive your car? No... So how can he or even his kids or whoever the Hell is gonna take over this franchise allow for him to still be behind the wheel of this organization? That's really the only question I have... I come from a very prideful family and if my father was the owner to the Bills i would love them just as much as he did and tell my father to take a step back and let me start running things from here on out so he can relax and just watch what his son can do... Or at least give me a shot... I doubt his kids are even 20 percent as passionate as he is about the Bills which is why we're stuck in this position we're in... I think deep inside Ralph feels he has noone he can trust as far as guiding the Bills in the right direction and he finds comfort in guys like Chan being the coach and Buddy being the GM cuz they're a couple of southern boys who speak from the heart...(More so Chan than Buddy)... Anybody else who speaks to Ralph is probably politician type people who only speak to him as far as numbers and the number game and business this and business that... He's too old to crunch numbers in his head... I blame it on his kids to be honest with you guys... Noone loves the Bills more than him and we have to sit back and just take it... It's just the position we're in... We can complain about it but what we love is what we love and that's the Bills...All I know is that if the Bills ever DO become a successful organization, us as fans will go down in history and should be the first "fans" in the hall of fame... Like actually be eligible to be in the Hall of Fame... And our bust in Canton should be a bunch of silouhettes of people, short, tall, man, woman and child holding up the Bills logo...
  13. You see? Out of all the things you said, it sounds like you think that i want Fitz out and to bring in a new QB next year... I am frustrated with him yes, do I think he's a superstar and elite QB? NO... He's under contract for the next few years so we're in my opinion "stuck" with him... I like the guy's excitement on the field... In his sound FX you can tell he gets really pumped up when we're doing good and I like that... I agree that we need a better O-Line like I said in a previous post and everyone (blind people included) can see that we need a better defense... That one is obvious... As long as we build a great team around Fitz I still believe that not in next year's draft but either the one after that or the one after that one we need a 1st round QB to come into a strong Bills team... I wouldn't want a rookie like let's say Andrew Luck (not that we have a shot at getting him) to come into the team we have now and expect production... So I guess we see eye to eye on that... But we're still gonna need an extraordinary talent to call our own... Fitz is not getting younger and in 3 years we don't know what type of QB he will be... I really do hope he keeps getting better but if he can't throw the deep ball with finesse now, what makes us think that "THAT" will get any better as the years go by? I'm riding with Fitz only cuz I have to... I have to want him to do good cuz he's our QB until God knows when we can call another one a starter... I like Fitz by default basically... He needs to finish these last three games effectively (meaning it doesn't matter if we win or lose I just want him to make nice throws and make good decisions) to earn my respect as a fan... That's all I'm saying...
  14. Whatever the case may be... The math can be wrong and the stats for him being the least sacked QB may be true but that's only cuz he gets rid of the ball so quick and his receivers are never in position 2 catch the ball... Sometimes he throws a catchable ball and the receivers drop it yes i know, but, some throws make you jump up and say where the hell was he going with that throw... The beginning of the season I got used to him throwing sort of effectively but the past 7 or 8 games I'm just like damn, where's the QB in the beginning of the season at? How do u just collapse like that? I'm still getting away from the point at hand though. I'm not saying I want a new QB, I'm saying the one we have isn't the one... We're forced to play him and believe in him cuz we paid him... Fitz is our guy for at least another year or two that's a guarantee. This is definitely not a post of we need a new QB or anything like that. I just hope that one day we can have a QB where we can watch him throw for over 300 yards a game and not lose our minds over it... If Fitz threw for 400 plus yards we'd all lose our minds cuz we've never seen that happen in Buffalo... Yet it happens on almost every other team for more than two games a year... Brady, Eli, Rivers, Ryan, Newton, Peyton (when healthy), Rothlisberger and a couple others I can't think of right now have 300 yard passing games all the time and to them it's just another day at the office... It's what's expected out of a QB... The reason Fitz, Trent, and Losman would always have those 150 yard days is cuz we always check the ball down and can't distribute the ball down the field "accurately"... It's always either a hail mary type throw or gun slinging into double and triple coverage type downfield throws... Unfortunately Bledsoe was the last "real" QB we had... We somehow ended his career with a horrible offensive line too... Either way it is what it is and I will root for Fitz cuz i sure as hell am not trying to see Thigpen play... Fitz is our guy and I'm along for the ride with him. We need to focus on defense and o-line and I'm sure it'll help Fitz be more confident and in 2 years we can spend a 1st round draft pick on a QB and groom the kid for 1 year and he should be surrounded by good talent... Too bad Nix doesn't believe in free agency so as long as he's GM we gotta pray we hit on every pick in the draft...
  15. You're right. I mean we all pretty much can see in the past couple of weeks that something is wrong with Fitz. Idk even think HE knows what it is. Maybe his beard hits a wind gust and hair goes in his eye Idk. What's sad is that I can't remember the last time he threw for over 300 yards a game let alone 400... This is just my opinion but I believe even with a great running game like we had with Fred Jackson, an NFL QB should easily be able to throw for over 200-250 yards a game so, averaging 187 a joke. I wanted a QB in the beginning of the season and then somehow i got sucked into liking Fitz and now I'm back on the QB hunt... Another sad part is that I don't want it this year cuz I don't think that even if we lose the rest of the games this year that we'll be in a good position to draft a QB but then again you never know. I know Fitz is bad but I think if we get him a solid LT and get Wood back at center and Levitre at guard and maybe pick up a solid RT free agent, Fitz could be better. So I think our way to go as far as getting a better team is fixing the O-line and defense. I think we should worry about having a solid QB either next year or the year after next only because we already paid him... Doesn't make sense to pay the guy and have him as a backup...
  16. The math on that my friends is 187.5 yards per game... Pathetic... Even more pathetic that he's the 2nd one in our whole franchise history to do it after Jim Kelly... I'm not much of a stat guy but damn... That stat just says we need a QB and we need a QB bad....
  17. Ohhhhh man... Wow thanks guys... I somehow programmed my brain to erase that dude from my memory... I wouldn't have guessed it was "the one who shall not be named" even if i had two days to think about it....
  18. I see your point... I just wanna know what the DJ stands for... Can't be disc jockey they make about 300 a night, 5,000 if you're famous... Can't be Donald Jones...
  19. At least i have so I'm way past shame on me... I think it was the come back wins and beating the Patriots that made me like this guy Fitzpatrick... In the beginning of the season I was one of those guys hoping to draft a QB... after the performances Fitzpatrick and the team had the first 5 weeks of the season, I changed my mind on him... These past couple of weeks this guy looks confused and cannot throw a good ball for his life... The best throw he had was the bomb to stevie johnson for like 40 yards... I actually looked at throw and it was perfect... An outstanding throw right into the hands of Stevie... We get so happy when this guy makes throws like that cuz he rarely does it... Watching last nights Giants Cowboys game I realized Eli throws balls like that week after week... Now we're stuck with Fitz and may God Help us from here on out...
  20. I guess I'm a sucker like you cuz I kind of like the guy after seeing his size and speed also...
  21. I know i probably should be watching college football to analyze the talent that's about to come into the NFL but to be honest i don't... What i DO watch though is the scouting combine on the NFL network and also watch the senior bowl... I judge the rookies based on what i see in those two situations... It's not necessarily speed i look for but it is cool to watch these guys run the 40... I swear on everything i love that when i saw Vincent Jackson in the combine the guy caught everything and i mean everything that was thrown to him and i had him high in the draft as far as wide receivers that year and he got drafted late and turned into a star... I felt like a scout lol but as far as the topic goes about Gabbert and all the other QB's I really hope we stay away from drafting a QB (at least this year) and either only draft defensive players and pick up a free agent offensive lineman or mix it up... Defense is all i look for in this year's draft as far as the Bills are concerned then comes the O-Line and even though i personally am happy with the wide receivers we have after hearing all of you guys talk about how bad we need a number 2 receiver opposite Stevie, I guess it wouldn't hurt to have a Vincent Jackson type player on the Bills roster...
  22. How come other teams in the league have ex players that used to play for them coaching for them (example : Rod Woodson) but we can't get a Bruce Smith to coach for us? What's he doing with his life now? I'm not saying he would be a good coach i'm just saying ummmm u know what? As i was typing i realized we just suck so forget about it I hate being a Bills fan...
  23. Ah man... The pain of being a Bills fan... This sux donkey kong balls man...
