Oops! -What I meant to say was that two firsts, and two seconds is just a bat-sh_t crazy, bananas, INSANE, Koo-Koo, price to pay for rookie with Darnold's mechanical issues. I watched him for 2 full college seasons... I watched his entire pro-day (which impressed me.) and still say NO. Beane needs to stay put, and grab players with the EXCELLENT picks we have.

I'll tell you who Darnold's motion reminds me of... FITZ! That said, I think he's the best of a lot of bad options. IMO, It'd be better to take a chance on a kid like Jackson at 12, or 22, and still be able to pick up another impact player with a high pick. I'm watching it right now, and the rain is reall coming down.... Darnold is frickin' soaked... The WR's are running on slop... First you said you were "near" the stadium, now you're saying you were actually "there" -Which one is it?

I just watched the recording of the whole workout... It was a generous soaking... I used to live in LA too, and I know how bad it can rain sometimes.

Dude... It POURED in LA during his workout. -It seemed like the clouds WAITED for him to start throwing, so they could dump on him... EVERY FREAKIN' BODY WAS THERE! -Kid never batted an eye... Spun the ball so clean and accurate, you'd swear it was 75 and sunny outside... Color me impressed with his throwing ability in bad weather.

I dunno... I was impressed by Darnold's accuracy, and overall performance at USC pro-day... He was spinning a soaking-wet ball in a rainstorm like it was NOTHING. I'm not a Josh Rosen or Allen guy... TBH, I don't LOVE any of these QB's as our first overall... BUT, if I HAD to pick, it'd be Darnold. -Hands down.

It's gonna be a long road back.
