  1. They needed to get the yellow down in case Buffalo scored there.
  2. His demeanor reminds so much of Norwood. Looks like he shook off some of the yips, though.
  3. We really need to shore up the unnecessary pre-snap penalties.
  4. Super weird game. Seahawks have self-destructed twice inside our 5. Score should be closer IMO.
  5. ***** these refs. A penalty for blocking. Unreal. Someone needs to tell these losers no one is watching to see them.
  6. That looked like a TD if Geno didn't slip. Lucked out.
  7. McDermott usually goes conservative when playing a decent team on the road.
  8. I like Coleman, but he's not exactly Cris Carter when it comes to hands.
  9. Man, it feels good to finally have a big WR to catch those jump balls.
  10. For all my criticism of McDermott, one thing I really admire about him is that he has built a winning team with overwhelmingly likable, high-character players. I have zero interest in a guy who tried to bash a QBs head in with his own helmet, and then later lied about said QB calling him a racial slur in order to justify his awful behavior. He can stay in Cleveland and hang out with the masseuse enthusiast.
  11. Rams are one of those loaded teams that can beat anyone but are plagued by inconsistency. Same thing with the other LA team.
  12. A legendary arm. The forgotten first-ballot HOF QB.
  13. Gotta have the bread for a replacement, if needed!
  14. Nice shot of Justin Jefferson wearing what looks to be probably an $800K diamond necklace during a tackle football game. That's certainly a choice.
  15. I don't get how taking two full steps with the ball before crossing the plane while going into the endzone isn't a TD when a WR does it, but a QB or RB can hold the ball over the same imaginary line for a fraction of a second before it gets batted away and that's always counted as a score. Most over-officiated game imaginable.
  16. Bills - 30 Seahawks - 27 (OT)
  17. No way. They've been grooming that guy to be HC for years. I'd be stunned if they can him that quickly. I'm not even sure I could name five Patriots outside of the guys who started at QB this year; they're not exactly built to win.
  18. The Ravens would absolutely take Allen, if that trade was hypothetically offered. Their team with his passing ability would be almost unbeatable.
  19. Literally no one cares about that if a guy whose job is to rush the passer is getting double-digit sacks every season. Stop dodging the question - should a 1st-round DE get a huge second contract if he doesn't ever get 10 sacks on his first contract?
  20. Here's the only thing that matters when comparing Allen and Jackson: The Ravens would trade Lamar for Allen straight-up in a heartbeat, and the Bills would never make that deal.
  21. Fine, can we agree that a first-round draft pick who was taken solely for his pass-rushing ability shouldn't at least have one 10-sack year on his first contract before getting a big extension?
  22. They are markedly better than Rousseau's first four years (so far), though. His best season is 8 sacks, and he got nearly all those during a period when Von Miller was playing with his hair on fire. As soon as he went down, Rousseau disappeared. I mean, he's a good player, but he probably should get a gigantic contract when you still have to extend consistent playmakers like Shakir and Benford (and possibly Cooper).
  23. He probably look like a new man once he gets there, but the Bills defense can still neutralize him on a good day. Should be an interesting second half of the season.
  24. This is 100% true, despite all the homers getting mad at you for bringing it up, and it's been going on for years. They start out flat most games and definitely have an issue with underestimating opponents they view to be inferior. Fans can look though the rose-colored glasses all they want, but the fact remains that we've played two teams who currently have a winning record, fell down by three scores to each early, and lost both games. The slow starts just can't happen against other top squads. This week will be a good test.
  25. It's not so much that they missed, but that he was only picked because they felt the need to draft ANOTHER defensive lineman despite taking one a round earlier, taking one with their first pick the year before, and taking one with a top-10 pick the year before that. They drafted Allen in 2018 and then did not use their first pick on offense again until 2023. Who does that with a high-end QB?
