Having one single QB throughout your career helps.......
The threat of Jim Kelly and Thurman Thomas helped Reed develop into
a great player.....Unfortunately for Moulds in his 9 years in the league
he had to deal with avg running backs and QBs who ran for their life.
Other than the two great years he had with Flutie and Bledsoe he has
been part of an offense that has struggled...Look at the QBs who have
thrown to him
Todd Collins, Billy Joe Hobert, Rob Johnson, Van Pelt

I think that is unfair to JP. The guy was thrown to the wolves against the
Pats when he least expected it...Give him a weeks practice and evaluate
what he does. But I agree, there is no need to do that when we have DB.
Also in the game against the bengals, our receivers dropped passes that
were hit between the numbers......Reed, Neufield and Moulds dropped
quite a few passes.

At some point, Drew and the rest of this offense is going to have to carry the team in certain situations, and so far this season, we have not seen that happen against quality competition.
Therefore, I say next pre-season should be an open competition between Drew and JP. If JP isn't close to being ready, so be it. But if he is, then a changing of the guard is essential if the 2005-beyond Bills want to legitimately challenge the AFC elite for a title.
Drew did play very well against the Dolphins when the Run game was going
no where and the defense put us in a hole early on.

TH came into this season with a chip on the shoulder when he was told he
will be competing with WM for the RB spot. What did that do to him. The
guy tanked it.
I am a big TH fan, but teams and GMs know what he can do and what he
cannot and therein lies the bargaining power. The bargaining chip that
TD has is that he does not have to trade or cut TH, since he is under
contract for a year more. My feeling is they meet somewhere in
between and trade for a conditional pick (like a 3rd round turning into
a 1st rounder based on TH's performance) which would be a fair trade
to both teams.

One of the things the guys on the radio were mentioning yesterday was:
They probably ejected DD so that there is no form of retaliation rest of
the game by Green Bay. They did not want things to get any uglier.

Hands down there is NO WAY the Patriots should have lost this game tonight. And you can owe it all to two things: Brady being Brady and his defense not pulling his ass out of a ringer.
There has been no single more embarrassing loss than this game tonight. Not one. Not a single one.
Couldn't have happened to a better bunch of fukkin' trolls.
As a bills fan it has to be the season opener against the Jax....I mean you let
the opponent drive 90 yards with 3 4th down conversion under 2 minutes in
YOUR own house......

MVP: Willis McGahee --- He gave the much needed spark for a 0-4 team.
Rookie: Lee Evans --- 7 TDs...speak no more
Comback Players of year: Willis McGahee....bided his time and made use of his
oppurtunity
Most Improved Player: Terence McGee.. Every time he touches the ball he is
feared by the opponents...Plus has been a ball hawking
CB not afraid to go one-on-one.
Offensive Player of Year : Willis McGahee
Defesnive Player of Year : Takeo Spikes
Special Teams Player of Year: Terence McGee
Most Disappointing Player of Year: Travis Henry
Biggest Scapegoat: Coy Wire (for playing so horribly at FS).

Every one would...because TH is the #2 back for this team...plus he has
started games in the NFL and has the experience...

This is the best case scenario in favor of the bills and I just hope that the week goes like you said....
If the Bills and Jax manage to win (the rest of the contenders lose), then it sets up a fantastic final week matchups.
1. Pit at Buf
2. Jax at Oak
3. NYJ at STL
2 of those 3 will be making the playoffs.
Will be a crazy week....It is great to be in the thick of things and feels good to
experience something we did 5 years ago.

Speaking of the national media...
Notice how everyone is picking Jacksonville to reach the playoffs now that they're in the driver's seat? Last week, people started picking Buffalo. Now the Jags are the popular trend.
If Miami can beat New England (with Corey Dillon, I might add), then Houston or Oakland can beat Jacksonville.
If I was not a bills fan, I would too....Jax have two easy games to go and
the way they are playing it wouldn't be too tough for them to win....If they
win they hold the tiebreakers.... The bills have to beat Pittsburgh in the
final week....From a outsider perspective the only thing they look at is
Pittsburgh is 13-1 (not how they are 13-1 with all those close wins)....

You don't want to consider us in the same league as the Steelers...but look
at how they have won.......stevestojantty offense.....good defense and STs....

Isn't this injury similar to what Losman had...fractured fibula.....and wasn't
he out for more like 8 weeks before he could play.....
There is 2 weeks of regular season + 1 wild-card + 1 div-rd + 1 conf-championship giving 6 weeks before the super-bowl....I don't think he has
a shot at the SB even if his team makes it that far.....Luckily I guess they
have already locked up home-field.....Minnesota or Atlanta will have to
come to PHI to go to the SB.

unbiased national syndicate......they are anything but......National syndicates
are so biased towards certain teams like Miami, Dallas, Giants, Green Bay
even if they suck.

How come? I think there is just too much that can happen before any seedings
is decided....
If the colts win against the bolts then they get the 3rd seed and the 4th seed if
they lose.
If the steelers win then they get 1st seed, however if they lose and the Pats
winout then steelers get 2nd seed....
And of course there is the matter of the colts winning the wild-card game...
so many things to happen before one can decide who plays whom and at where.

For everyone jumping on Mike Williams in this thread....
Lets keep in mind that a big part of the offensive resurgence is Willis Magehee.....who wasn't in for most of this game.....
Despite that fact......they were able to give Drew plenty of time even though Drew couldn't do anything with it for most of it......
I thought given the circumstances the O Line played ok....not good...but ok
John,
This one is not on Drew....His receivers stunk it up and couldn't make some
of the catchs that were hitting between the numbers.....Neufield, Moulds
and Reed dropped a few each....

Normally we would be talking about the weekend match ups...However look
like there is not much interest in talking about the 49ers...
I guess every one has run out all the possible playoff scenarios.....
Someone tried to restart the Travis Henry trade thread and that died pretty
quickly.
And we have the whole offseason to talk about trades/drafts scouting etc...
I guess this is the week to sit back and enjoy the holidays and have some fun.
