  1. smokescreen!!!!
  2. 10/12 150 yards 1 Rushing TD. Bills rush the ball for 210 yards behind McCoy.
  3. Not having Dareus wreak havoc will hurt the Bills line. He is a game changer
  4. They have that good of a QB who can carry that team on his shoulders
  5. +1. It is always this way with week 1. It explodes when we win week1 and the anticipation for week2 becomes even greater until we hit the first loss; which then is always makes a miserable week....I guess there is never any Middle ground during a Bills season !!!! I am still surprised that they made EJ the 3rd QB...That definitely would have pushed his confidence down after this drama. I still don't understand what Cassel brings to the table with respect to actually playing the game. I was also surprised by the QB coach comment that Tyrod and Cassel were very close in the QB race. That does not spell too much confidence in Tyrod (based on the comparison, as Cassel is a very average QB)
  6. And let us not make Pete Carroll like the gr8 evaluator of talent. He had Wilson as his 3rd string QB and spent a 1st rounder on Whitehurst.....
  7. +1. A good coach will always figure out how to use his talented players. Schwartz inherited a team that had played a 3-4 and just did fine, because he is an excellent coach. The same goes for Rex. He has proven to be a great defensive coach and will figure out how to put his best 11 on the field to make plays. If coach Roman can do the same with the talent accumulated on offense, we will be fine
  8. Agreed...When you look at the CBS slate, it is really bizarre. Early games: Ind @ Buf, Cle @ NYJ, Mia @ Washington, KC @ Houston, Late Games: Bal @ Denver, Titans @ Tampa Bay, Cincinnati @ Oak Bal @ Denver is a heavy weight matchup. I assume everyone is curious about Titans and TB due to the rookie QBs. Everything else is same level or below the level of the Bills/Colts game.
  9. The best way to do that would be run the ball successfully and keep Luck on the sidelines. Hopefully McCoy will be ready when he debuts for the Buffalo Bills.
  10. The Jets secondary last year was worse than our starting DBs. And the Pass defense....Obviously the Bills did better and probably because of better talent at the DB position as compared to the Jets. 14 NY Jets 538 345 64.1 3746 7.5 87 31 6 45 310 101.5 234 3 Buffalo 559 337 60.3 3292 6.4 56 16 19 54 308 74.5 206 If our offense can improve the points scored this season compared to last year, we will possibly win more games than last year. The addition to strengthen the OL, adding talent at the TE position and the running back position and most important of all, having a genuine Offensive Coordinator in place should help get us there.
  11. And we will get a glimpse of it in 5 days and know the truth in four months!!!! Let us get on the ride, Buffalo Bills Fans!!!
  12. On espn.com 11 Buffalo 414 1703 4.1 47 10 106.4 6 4 And the Jets under Rex against the Run where 5 NY Jets 393 1489 3.8 97 10 93.1 5 1 The Jets were ranked 5th against the Run in Total Yards while the Bills were at 11. Almost, all stats are equal.
  13. Really. That defense was average. They couldn't stop the run when it counted. That is why they were on the field for long. If the D took care of its business, may be that offense scores 40+ points every game.
  14. Incognito's play alone will help Wood. Often I have seen Wood trying to cover up for his guards. Plan B was Chris Williams and he did not Pan out.
  15. This has been a phenomenal offseason. Great HC hire to a team where big names historically have chosen not to come Made a daring trade shipping out Fan favorite Kiko for an all-star RB Was not afraid to bring competition to the QB position Willing to pay star DT top-tier money Paid a ransom to get the top FA TE in the league They have put the players in position to succeed. Now can the coaching staff get them to succeed. I can't wait for the season to start.
  16. I would rather play Kyle Williams as a TE
  17. The days of re-signing a average to below average Chris Kelsay to a huge contract because he was a nice guy is gone. The Bills are aligning with the league more so in not babying their players. Jackson clearly showed his frustration by attacking Whaley. He needed to be a professional and move on. The Bills have to sign young players for the FUTURE. I think the Pegula's are ON board with this approach. After all the guy has been injured for the past four years. Consistency was never there with any of the Bills RBs.
  18. Why didn't the 49ers tab him as their HC. Instead went with a line coach
  19. Jacksonville
  20. Actually Rob Johnson beat the Chiefs in a thriller. Some even thought it might be a defining moment!
  21. +1. This is what we would call depth.
  22. It is a QB driven league. Rodgers all the way
  23. And thanks to a gr8 defense we made the playoffs inspite of the little guy struggling. Can we get the same encore with rex's defense and our 3-headed QBs
  24. My concern is still the OL. Last year it was average to poor. Will they be able to get the run game going and protect. Will Glenn and wood raise their level of play. Can the RT be solidified. Will miller be up to the task as a rookie. Big questions
  25. Completely agree. Don't judge by their height/weight, but judge by the plays they make. The only issue people usually harp on is how does a small QB play in the cold and windy buffalo come November/December and possibly in January. Everyone always pointed out to the success of Jim Kelly and how his strong arm helped beat the weather. People forget that Kelly had weapons like Thomas and Reed and was not necessarily ripping the ball downfield every play.
