  1. Night and Day difference with our former OC from the past two years....After Chan, we again have a sensible OC.
  2. While Whaley has made many great moves, don't underestimate the influence of Rex in the Harvin hire and Incognito hire and even Tyrod. These are all Rex's guys. At the same time, Rex did not bring in aged veterans like Landry.
  3. The kid has already locked up the position and it is his to lose. Leodis is probably coming in at the slot position or move down to Free Safety. First, he has to be healthy.
  4. Bradham is not going anywhere. He is a big part of this defense. Kyle Williams indeed may be in trouble, unless he restructures. I definitely see Leodis being let go at the end of the season. I also believe we are carrying a big chunk of Fitz's contract this season?
  5. More importantly, they have figured out how to make Carr a Franchise QB.....Carr has come on truly like a franchise QB since the win against us last year.
  6. This team needs to relax and enjoy itself. It cannot get cornered and be tight...Rex is doing the right thing by making the players do other things!!!
  7. Goes to show how bad our LB corps has been for a decade....The only good LB we had was the guy who came over from the Giants and played for a few years. Everyone else has pretty much been average to below average. That midfield of London Fletcher, Spikes and Jeff Posey was pretty awesome with a backfield of Winfield, Clements and Milloy being very impressive, not to mention the DL consisting of Williams, Schoebel and Adams with Kelsay being the weakest link on that defense.
  8. CJ is a speed runner that needs space. What hurt him was not having an accurate QB who can provide him the swing pass and short drops that he could take it to the house. We can't compare him for a North-South type runner and he never was.
  9. Good stuff...Do they have similar ratings for Receivers and Running Backs?
  10. The K-Gun was slowed down by Kelly. He needed to give the ball more to TT. And don't forget the video of Brady checking out us on TV (whipping the Colts) on Sunday....I am sure he figured out how to beat us there !!!!!
  11. The Drew Bledsoe led team that started with a whipping of BRady 31-0 was a pretty loaded team on Offense and Defense. They just couldn't put it together because DB was an average QB.
  12. Fitz has the penchant for self-destruction in the 2nd half of the season. I would like the Jets to lose now as Miami may not turn it around.
  13. If the 2-1 Bills are included in this discussion, then so would KC and the Jets.
  14. They still have a pretty strong running game and Michael Vick as the backup. they will do alright.
  15. By provoking the team into stupid penalties...Seriously, I agree, we have enough talent on this team at the skill positions to make a deep run in the playoffs, if they can be disciplined.
  16. +1. We were out-coached in all aspects of the game. Giving them fantastic field position in the 1st quarter allowed them to pile up the score. The defense did adjust in the 2nd half, but it was a tad late. The offense struggled, especially with Taylor trying to do too much and taking those 8 sacks just did not help. Many of these issues falls on Rex for not getting his team ready. May be he got them too over-ready making it sound like a AFC Championship game. It was good to see Rex back to a normal self in Miami. He had a better control of the football team
  17. I agree..We have 1-year contracts for Icognito, Harvin and soon to expire contracts for Glenn, Nigel, etc
  18. I think that was simply due to the wet playing conditions and his leg got caught in the turf. Having said that, it is indeed important for him to protect himself for the long haul.
  19. +1 Go Bills!
  20. This team will be successful, when its QB will be the leader and take charge. He needs to be able to go up in the face and let people know what is expected of them. The last guy who got closest to that was the one who took us to the playoffs....Everyone after that have shied away and the results are there to be seen.
  21. He has a lousy defense, no run-game and no receiver not named Ty!!!
  22. And that is exactly the mindset the Steeler's organization have. They cut loose players who may be popular but not producing...They even pushed out a legend, Troy Polamalu into retirement. I remember, they let go fan favorites like Greg Lloyd, Kevin Greene, Joey Porter, heck even a HOF like Rod Woodson and yet here we complain about Freddy being let go.
  23. The actual confusing stance was two weeks ago. If EJ had played very well in the pre-season (as evidenced), he should have been made the backup QB. If the Bills wanted to use Casell's experience in breaking down films, they should have said so and made him the 3rd QB (effectively another QB Coach) and clearly let him know about that. They muddled it by giving in to Cassell's demands for being the backup QB.
