yea the unspoken truth of the success of the patriot way is essentially don’t let the other 52 lose the game for you and have a qb that can win any and every game for you.but Mac Jones will lose games for you. Really, most qbs will do that. They need to acknowledge the real patriot way if they are going to fix the result
In the early years Brady was a game manager. They won 3 super bowls without asking him to go out and win games. Patriots were all about tough D and a ball control offense. It wasn't until later on that Brady was stealing games.

As Grayscale converts closed end trusts to spot ETFs all of those Market Price / Shares will rise to the value of Holdings / Per Share.
https://www.grayscale.com/crypto-products
Some like GDLC, which I hold, still have attractive discounts to Net Asset Value (NAV) ~30%. Did you know GDLC is 70% Bitcoin and 23% ETH?
The original thesis was a bet on ETF conversion and narrowing of the discounts to NAV. Assuming Grayscale converts all products to spot ETFs its now free money. I suppose additional regulation risk may remain?
The cool thing here is that I bought GBTC when it was trading around $10 and the value of its bitcoin holdings was $15. Now the market price is nearly equal to its holdings per share. Meaning anyone who traded with me upthread has realized gains greater than people who invested in ETH or BTC.

The Kraken are our white whale. We have never beaten them. Buffalo is the only team that Seattle has never lost to. Why can't we beat those *****?!?

First time I encountered it was my freshman year of college. Never in HS. I’ve done a little bit here and there. I think the last time was at a wedding down in Florida about 10-15 years ago. I’m not a fan. Never been. But I will say that doing a little bump to keep the party going is much different than sitting around doing lines. It’s an ugly drug for sure.
I recently almost lost a good friend who got a “bad bag” laced with Fentanyl. He’s the type of guy that will do it 2-3 times a year. My wife literally brought him back to life by performing CPR. He is very lucky. If you’re going to dabble….know your dealer!
The fentanyl risk is terrifying. I weep for today's youth who will never experience the innocence of floor coke and found baggies. Now you need a chemistry set, a notepad with consent forms, and a notary public just to get a little action.

Right. It's a place were many western New Yorkers have moved to over the years. I personally have two siblings (Bills fans of course) which moved for good to southern Florida. You won't see it the other way around. Not many move up here from down there.
Western New York's greatest export is people. Every growing population center in the country has a large contingent of WNYers.

I'm confused as to what it is that the Steelers do that we're so worried about?
They win a lot of ugly games despite getting out produced in every meaningful offensive metric.

I think this oline has been vastly overrated, at least by some of the metrics that say they've been a top unit in both pass/run blocking. And what should give all bills fans pause heading into the playoffs is how they've performed against top defenses in recent weeks (i.e. Patriots, Chiefs, etc). Miami dominated as well and were pretty much a practice squad unit last night. Just not sure how what's going on.
One thing I will say is it might be time to sit Torrance, he showed a lot of promise early on but unfortunately seems to have been progressively worse as the season has went on and will be a major liability in the postseason especially in a potential divisional round game against Chris Jones and the Chiefs. So if I'm McD, I'd roll with Bates and or Edwards in the playoffs or have a very short leash on the rookie.
Regarding the dline, I'm not really concerned there despite not registering any sacks last night. They've been a bright spot in recent weeks and we'll see what they do against a Steelers oline unit that is definitely playing their best football of the season, and might be best oline in the entire league right now heading into the postseason.
You are a total clown.

Every team we have lost to missed the playoffs or has had their season go up in flames. Jets, Jags, Pats, Denver, Bengals all missed the post season. Philly has gone 1 - 4 since beating us and their players are dropping like flies. Total disarray. Its really bad karma to beat the Bills. The rest of the league should probably forfeit and look out for their best interest.

Quick…..Somebody drive over to the construction site and see if those guys can get those infamous wind confusers erected by this Sunday.
I went over and asked the guys about erection confusers and they said when Bugs Bunny put on a dress and played a girl bunny. Not sure how that helps the wind but you're welcome.

One Bills super fan and NFL pundit offered this prediction on September 6, 2023. The thread was short lived due to the reactions to the Bills missing the playoffs but I thought it was important to memorialize this bold take. Would the author like to take the stage and accept his flowers?
Wasn't going to post this but since I've had a lot of requests asking going on the official record, feel free to post yours as well:
AFC East NFC East
Dolphins 15-2 Cowboys 12-5
Patriots 11-6 *WC Giants 11-6 *WC
Bills 8-9 Eagles 10-7 *WC
Jets 8-9 WFT 5-12
AFC North NFC North
Ravens 13-4 Lions 11-6
Bengals 12-5 *WC Bears 9-8
Steelers 11-6 Packers 8-9
Browns 6-11 Vikings 7-10
AFC South NFC South
Jaguars 11-6 Saints 10-7
Titans 9-8 Falcons 9-8
Texans 5-12 Panthers 6-11
Colts 4-13 Bucs 4-13
AFC West NFC West
Chiefs 14-3 Seahawks 11-6
Chargers 12-5*WC 49ers 11-6 *WC
Raiders 6-11 Rams 8-9
Broncos 5-12 Cardinals 1-16
AFCCG: Bengals over Dolphins
NFCCG: Giants over Seahawks
SB: Bengals over Giants
Also some other notes:
- I originally had Chiefs going 17-0 in regular season but with Jones situation and latest injury news on Kelce can't see it happening no matter how hard refs are blowing whistles in KC's favor. Still won't be surprised if they are hoisting another Lombardi trophy in the end.
- Daboll leads Giants on verge of another SB win, however Bengals win SB in epic come from behind game in final minutes.
- Bills will go 1-5 in division this year
- Bills will lose 6 of final 8 games after starting 6-3.

You have no idea who was moving where when Josh made the decision, no idea whether or not he was open at that point and you'll never know from a picture like that.
Your opinion is 100% subjective.
I watched the original tape for which the screen shot was clipped to prove pressure and no separation. Guys were open. Watch the tape.

The video reviewer actually says something along the lines of “on second thought, this is a good play by the Patriots. It’s a tough minus (for Allen)”. Even he admits it’s horse crap to blame Allen for it, but he doesn’t remove it from the film…
Another from the video. Josh didn’t hit Diggs 25 yards down field, on the run, with two defenders about to pummel him. It was a scramble drill and THIS was used as an example of Allen missing an open guy. The analysis in the video was a joke.
I get that i’m an Allen homer but my goodness some of the stuff he is getting blamed for is wild.
He missed routine throws and he didn't make the highlight reel throws that we are accustomed to seeing. The video acknowledges that. Save your screen shots. I watched the film.

For those who don’t care to watch (probably a good idea), this is one of the first plays they use to demonstrate that Allen missed open receivers. Allen has three defenders in his face and he is blamed for not hitting Diggs. This is an INT waiting to happen as that defensive back has a great opportunity to jump the pass from his position. This is the quality of analysis.
PS, yes, there were a few missed receivers in this game, but context always matters (pressure, where Allen is within his reads and progressions, etc).
He delivered the ball cleanly in this screenshot. Maybe, MAYBE, he couldn't step into it a few more inches than he would have liked. He needs to make that throw. He missed guys all afternoon and all night against LAC.

Listen, I know how important the #2 seed can be. I don't want to downplay that at all. However, if some of these reports out there are true and Josh is battling an injury that needs rest, would it make more sense to give Josh, and maybe some others, the week off? I'm sure Hyde's neck could use a break too.
I'm sure this will get me flamed, but if playing on the road for the playoffs means that Josh is even 20% healthier, is that worth it?
Would you have sex with your mother to save your father's life?

This breakdown of Allen's day was pretty damning. The video breakdown is excellent.
