No part of what McDermott said or any the criticism levied against him touches on a single issue pertinent to economic, social, or political equality. Said differently, all criticism of McDermott has nothing to do with social justice. No is calling for McD to apologize to Al Qaeda or a marginalized segment of the population. All criticism surrounds his ability to communicate with his players as highlighted by these speeches McD delivered which were considered anything but motivating according to those interviewed.
Your turn. Tell me how anything contained in this thread is at all relevant to issues of social justice.

You should check it out man. Shane Gillis is absolutely hilarious, one of the funniest dudes doing it right now. Also good friends with Gabe Davis.
He has a story about hanging out with Spencer Brown at Dave and Busters while out of his mind on mushrooms after tailgating a Bills game. That last sentence is basically the whole story. Hes the man.

Litterally the worst time, or maybe best time for this to come out. Will the team rally around their coach?
I think we rally. I mean, did we give up when the Americans dropped the Mother of All Bombs on Nangarhar province?!?! No, and we're not giving up now. Because when the going gets tough...us Mujahadeen get tougher!! Bring it in guys...Allahu akbar on 3!!

I have not seen his full special but the clips I see on social media are amazing.

At some point, he won’t be able to get good assistants if he is known for this. Who’d want to subject themselves to it?Someone looking for an opening in a field with only 32 positions.

There are plenty of examples that he could have used that would have been better. Especially since it's not an enemy.
For instance, the SEAL Team 6 who had their helicopter crash and Bin Laden's compound. They didn't miss a beat, infiltrated, accomplished their goal and then went home.
Some would argue that the Navy SEALs aren't all that impressive when you consider the facts...

I have tried to be a McD supporter for all he’s done. Playoffs, changing the “culture”, many wins. But clearly, he has not had what is needed to push us over the top.I must say, if he truly is the guy portrayed in this article, send him packing right now. Appreciate what he did to start our ascent, but we need someone who can truly lead this team. Not waste one of the most physically gifted QB’s to ever play the game.
Quite possibly the players are exhausted with him.
Thats where I am with him. Based on the change in tone and body language of the team and the results this year relative to last, I think the players have tuned him out. I'm not saying mutiny or that hes lost the locker room but the guys look tight out there but also sloppy. Some coaches have a shorter shelf life depending on their communication style.

McDermott is getting the Marrone treatment, which is odd, cuz Imo Marrone was such an a-hole his 2nd season here
And Marrone's claim to fame is one non-losing season where we failed to make the playoffs.

No, it isn't complicated. But I'm not defending Dorsey. I never wanted Dorsey as an OC. I was always wait and see. So I have no idea what you're even referring to here. I'm anything but a Dorsey apologist.
What you're doing is conflating the notion that I don't excuse McD from any of the current state of the team, with me being a Dorsey apologist. Sadly for you there's zero evidence of that. Sorry, there just isn't.
Again, here are the facts.
+84 of our current Point-Differential was due to an explosive offense in three of our first four games, after the Jets game that we went into entirely unprepared. That's for another thread though.
Since then we're +17, -9 without the big game over the hapless Jets.
Those are facts.
Another fact is that McD's phrase, "complimentary football" did not make an appearance, at least not that I'm aware of, until after that point in time.
Obviously something changed in our offense after we got back from England, or maybe even for that Jags game, either way, doesn't matter. That's also indisputable.
So what was it?
What, Dorsey just said "f-it, we're scoring too much, I need to slow this ship down." ?
I'm not nor have ever defended Dorsey, in fact I don't defend any coach that's currently on this staff. Not one, not even Brady until he strings a half-season together consistently, which we'll find out here in December.
But something changed, so what was it?
Its complementary football and McD has been talking about it for years.

Knox has made some big plays for this team when healthy. If hes ready to go and can hold on to the ball, I'm looking forward to seeing him contribute with Brady calling the plays.

Why would that be a lie?
Because the corpse of Von Miller has been getting snaps for weeks and proving that he's nowhere near ready to play.

...and soup isn't as hot as it used to be!!! Whole world going to hell and we're just whistling through the grave yard on our cell phones and video games. Wish a sinkhole would just open up and swallow us all, gobbless.

I think that 3rd period is something they can really build on moving forward. By build on I mean getting shelled in the first period again and losing 8-2 next time out.

Josh Allen is no different, and he dives every time he is touched.
Its the way the game is played now. Brady pioneered it. Now he bloviates about a game gone soft to stay relevant. Sad.
Josh Allen also runs over guys and doesn't turtle when contact arrives.

The rulebook changed such that you couldn't touch QBs because of Brady. He petitioned for a flag every time he was touched. He may F@#$ himself.

That can be said by all of the losses this year, though. They were all winnable games. Just too many mistakes and bad breaks.
They were playing poorly earlier in the year. Thats the only way you lose to New England, Jets, and Broncos and squeak by the Giants. They would have lost by 40 points had they brought that effort to Philly.

Collapsing is not playing well. We lost. Your definition of playing well is not good enough and not up to NFL standard. This isn’t pop Warner where you get a participation trophy. Lol
Taking a super bowl favorite into OT is not playing up to the NFL standard? How can you take a super bowl favorite to OT despite making critical execution errors which would have won the game without playing...well?? Why don't you think about that for a minute. Take time off for headaches.
Nice uphill both ways, drank from the hose bull#### though.

Is this a gut feeling or do you have info why they will suddenly start playing well?
They played well the last 2 weeks. Make a field goal, catch a catchable ball, run the right route, get a call or two and we easily beat Philly. Do you have any info as to why they will suddenly stop playing well this week?

The Biden administration put the word out: if you can make it to Mexico from anywhere in the world, you can walk across the border into the United States. These illegal immigrants aren't just coming from Central America — they're coming from all over the world.
All of them with well packed luggage and their arms behind their backs (at rest)Not a good sign.

No, but we will have Leonard Floyd who has been more productive than 2022 Von through 12 games.

GBTC has been a great investment. Not only have I realized every bit of upside from the increase in BTC prices but the discount to NAV has narrowed. GBTC have ETHE actually outperformed their underlying crypto due to huge discounts to NAV which have significantly narrowed. At buy in I was essentially getting Bitcoin and Ethereum for 50% of dollar value.

Tyler Dunne story on McDermott - 3 parts, 25 interviews, one damning conclusion

If Dunne were to make ***** up for clicks he'd find himself hanging with Doug Whaley and peddling old Rex Ryan dirt for beer money. He has far too much to...crap.
