Allen has a flipping mixtape (dude grew up watching Levron). Every qb whines about calls and the refs miss a lot for every team because they are really bad this year.
In fairness, so does Tua.

I agree with this because he's determined to break the all time record and it could lead to turnovers with Tua forcing the ball his way.
This is a massive game for Miami and if they lose it could cost them dearly in terms of keeping hold on the division title.
Hard to "keep hold" of something you never had.

They estimate the super bowl brings about a million people to town over the 2 week spectacle. Its not just players, media, and fans. Everyone who is anyone is there. Queen Latifah? You bet your ass shes there. Steve Guttenberg? Hell yeah. Ringo Starr? Quite possibly. There are parties all week, events, concerts, pop up clubs and restaurants. The NFL has an interactive experience near their media setup that claims multiple city blocks. Uber drivers come in from all over the nation to work. And the whores! Good god man, the whores, they're everywhere!! I love you, Buffalo, but you're just not ready for primetime.

I'm just thinking of 40 miles on all sides of the stadium. Obviously, I was wrong. 40 miles is a long way so at least 100,000 would seem legit. But even that is obviously off
There is nothing of any significance within 40 miles of Buffalo. Look at a map.

Lol. I of course meant more populated areas and I'm pretty sure those places are further than 40 miles away
I believe you
What are these populated areas within 40 miles of the Buffalo metro area you speak of?

It would also be within a 40 miles radius from any direction of the stadium that you would have to take into account. It may not be thousands. But there are a lot
Batavia, Lockport, Medina, Pembroke, Corfu, and Lewiston have at least 30 more rooms between them. Whats that take us to? Attica has a lot of housing.

You tell me, what will 60+ thousand people find to do in downtown Buffalo in February?
The same thing the locals do. Find a warm place to get stupid drunk and wish you were somewhere else.

This is the best possible scenario for the Bills, and it explains alot in regards to him.
I didn't believe he was not one of the top 3 or 4 DB's on this team, and I refused to go along with the sentiment on this board that he was a bust. He looked too much like he belonged last season for him to be not worthy to play on gamedays. Now I believe we know why.
Lots of posters here should be embarrassed about their trash takes on the kid and their willingness to dump him
We HOPE it explains a lot. He was already sliding down the depth chart before he was injured if I recall correctly.
6 minutes ago, Ethan in Cleveland said:I dont understand why people would want to trade him now. He has a plausible reason why he was not playing well. He already showed talent on the field last year.
We should be asking why McDumbass didn't just put him on IR in the first place instead of making him a "healthy scratch" when it appears he was not healthy.
McD is building a nice track record of mischaracterizing players. First he makes Diggs look like a malcontent and now he makes Elam look like a bust.
God I hate our head coach!!!!!
McDermott doesn't make IR decisions. That is Beane's responsibility.

The inconsistency of this team is infuriating! It's not like we don't have any talent but there are too many games they come out completely flat. Every once in awhile they get a shot of juice through the veins and they look like a completely different team playing a completely different brand of hockey but I don't understand why it's so hard for them to maintain that level of play.
An off night cannot be 50% of all nights. Its not like its been good effort and a few mental lapses to give up soft goals like last year or the old script where they give up a goal and then the wheels come off for 5 minutes before composure returns. They are so flat coming out of the gate that they're getting shelled and the game is essentially lost in the opening period.
Dahlin and Peterka played one of the worst shifts I have witnessed on the second goal. Dahlin is far too experienced to continue to be giving up these WTF type goals. He turned the puck over like 5 times on that shift and Peterka tried to outdo him.

I was exhausted last night and went to bed super early...looks like I made the right decision. Woof
It was the standard script. Go down early and give up a nearly insurmountable lead. Then decide to start looking like an NHL team after going down 3-0. Make it a game with a nice goal and start to give fans hope that an inspired comeback is taking place. Squander a few prime scoring chances, do nothing on the PP. Give up a goal early in the 3rd period to put the game out of reach.
These starts are so consistently poor that I don't even know what to take away from strong second periods. The game dynamics are totally changed once a team goes up 3-0. I doubt they are playing as hard up 3 as they are up 2 or less. Do you get credit for making some games interesting after not just shooting but totally blowing your own foot off in the first period? Its like mounting a comeback against prevent defense after the game is basically out of reach.

Pretty sure we ran one to Cook last weekend. Pressure slid through, blocking was all setup, and Cook took it for an 8 yard gain. 6:18 remaining in the second half, right before the interception. It did not look like a dump off to me but I could be mistaken.

Last night was a brutal game for Miami. They racked up so many injuries on their way to blowing that game. Very reminiscent of our game vs. Jax.
I wonder if Tua was concussed? He took a big shot on an ill advised run for the endzone. Instead of sliding, he went too his knees and got leveled. He generally looked clueless afterward. But so did McDaniel.

Hill's been hobbled a lot this season.
It hasn't slowed him down at all until last night. Even after sitting out most of the game he still looked like the most dangerous player on the field.

No one expects NBC Executives!! Their main weapon is surprise. Surprise and Cris Collinsworth's inane rambling. Their *two* main weapons are surprise, Cris Collinsworth's inane ramblings, and near fanatical devotion to Taylor Swift. *Among* their weapons are surprise, Cris Collinsworth's ramblings, and fanatical devotion to Taylor Swift and thats it. Also, a dizzying array of irrelevant talking heads that add no value to the broadcast...@#$@#%

It's possible. How do you recover from blowing a 14-pt lead at home in the last 5:00? And it looks like Hill will be a weekly injury issue from here on out.

Drafting Tre instead of Mahomes or Antoine Winfield 20 years ago has no bearing on the Elam pick, Bill.
He's been bitching about drafting DBs since Whitner was selected over Haloti Ngata. It went full crusade after McKelvin was the pick and its only gotten worse over time. The whole league drafts DBs in the first round because its a money position.

Yep, that pick simply had to be a corner, even if it involved trading up. Screw wide receivers and/or blockers. We needed a first round corner to play in a zone at all costs.
Now, Tre might be shot due to his injury. Perhaps McDermott and his lapdog will run to the podiun in 2024 and grab another corner in the 1st. It wouldn't surprise me.
If it were up to you the team would have zero defensive backs

Reid is totally in CYA mode…he knows they aren’t getting a warning on a WR close to the formation…he is just covering up that his reclamation project is costing him games.Or he is trying to draw fire from his star QB who just went full meltdown.

@Billl Thoughts on the game? Thoughts on Mahomes and Reid’s post game comments? Thoughts on the penalty? Thoughts on 2nd and 15 with 1:20 left?
Here’s my take.
13 games ago, was Mahomes crying about the refs handing him a Lombardi by doing the exact opposite of what he’s asking the refs to do. “Let us play”. Yet dude is crying about the refs taking away a regular season win by throwing a flag on a blatant offside of a WR, who was lined up inside the hash marks, that didn’t look to the ref and ask if he’s ok.
“they wiped out an all time great play by a HoF TE by throwing a flag that had no impact on the play”….. as if that has any relevance. The flag was thrown before the ball was even thrown. That’s what you get for having an idiot like Toney out there with the game on the line. Sometimes you get burned when you play with fire.
We also read the post where you said Josh needs lesser WRs.
The Chiefs continually overlook character concerns while signing dirt bags and idiots. Who knew that could backfire?

McD is crazy for wanting to establish the run and play complementary football

I don't think its learning. Last year, we couldn't run on a 3 man box. The OL got no push. With some upgrades to the line we have some push and Cook is seeing big lanes opening up. Now defenses need to choose how they want to get beat.
