  1. He was NEVER that good from the beginning. I was never a fan of him and there were lots of people here thinking that he'd be the future LT of this team. Puhleaaaase
  2. Brady, Brees and Rodgers makes their WRs look better than they appear in my opinion. Marques Colston is one of the most overrated WRs in the NFL. You honestly think Lance Moore, Colston, Meachem and Devery Henderson are legit WRs? I don't. Brees PRIOR to coming to the Saints? His last 2 years, he almost posted the exact same stats he posted his 1st 2 years in New Orleans. Same amount of TDs, completion percentage is almost the same, TD to TO ratio about the same. The only thing different is yardage and pass attempts which should be credited more towards Payton than Brees. Brees didn't run a pass first offense when he was with the Chargers. I bet if Brees, Brady or Rodgers played here, Stevie's numbers would be through the roof.
  3. noooo...get out of here. the head coach knows something we fans don't? shocker. Preseason means nothing. He obviously thought our passing game and young WRs needed the reps. Probably why we threw the ball so dam much.
  4. Yes we should. Because playing WR in the NFL is so easy, anybody can do it. Just run a straight line and don't worry about catching the ball. Just run straight and beat your man in a footrace. Don't worry about plays or running routes or anything else. Just think of this as a 200M race.
  5. I think smooth peanut butter is better than chunky. Anybody else agree?
  6. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap1000000048058/article/replacement-officials-miscue-overturned-in-buffalo Here's the video, explanation and article. These refs should not be allowed to ref pee wee football. MORONS.
  7. Just because you run a no huddle doesn't mean it's a hurry up no huddle. The purpose of our no huddle was to give Fitz the most amount of time to decipher the defense and have him call the plays at the line. We gave him full control of the offense and we were just messing with it. It wasn't a K Gun no huddle
  8. Every sporting event you go to at any stadium is going to have some drunk person being obnoxious. It comes with the territory. It sux
  9. Here are my observations from the Saints/Pats game: Drew Brees threw for 4 yds and completed 25% of his passes and no TDs. He sucks. So does Brady. He only threw for 30 yds. Brees and Brady combined to throw for less than 50% of their passes. Both teams combined for 13 points and couldn't get their offense on track. They're both finishing last place in their division. ITS F'IN PRESEASON.
  10. Anyone know how the chick did in her game?
  11. I like the collar and I didn't find it distracting at all.
  12. Ron Brooks was absolutely SOLID. Loved the way he played.
  13. The only good thing's I've seen from this game is Moorman and Ron Brooks. Brooks looks legit.
  14. Have you ever seen an arena football game? The league's a JOKE and doesn't have nearly the physicality of the NFL. You'd be able to tell if you watched it. Arena football is a track game more than a ground and pound game which is why the scores are always ridiculously high. So no, I don't account for that as real football. Willis is MUCH better than Mathews. Are you serious? Willis is the best LB in the game right now hands down. Ask anyone and they'll tell you that he is. I suggest you watch some more football.
  15. Don't think that's humor at all. More stupidity and ignorance than anything else.
  16. He played a year in NFL Europe and BARELY played 2 seasons in Arena football since playing college football. That's not enough carries for wear and tear. No it's not. Me ranking RB's is me ranking RB's as to who I think is the best pure RB in the league. It has nothing to do with fantasy. If i were to rank my top 10 QBs of all time, I guess that has to do with fantasy as well? You really comparing Patrick Willis to Clay Mathews? It's CLEAR that Willis is the better LB and if you don't see that, I don't know what to tell you except to watch more football. Sure, comparing LBs in a 34 to a LB in a 43 is more difficult but comparing RBs to a RB is easier
  17. LB situation, LT situation, WR situation, backup QB situation,
  18. You're comparing a fractured fibula with tearing an ACL AND MCL ligament in the knee? You can't even compare the 2 injuries. You've gotta be kidding me. The fact that Fred's on the field participating in drills now and AP has yet to see the field tells you he's not ready.
  19. Yes...but he's not healthy NOW is he? So no he's not better than Fred. That's a career altering injury that he went through and until he proves he's back. He's not better.
  20. Yea you're about 20 hrs late on the news
  21. the dreaded 30 is for RBs who has years of wear and tear. Fred is fresh so I don't want to hear it. Sure he played Arena league for just 2 seasons where RBs are barely even used and NFL Europe but that was just for A YEAR. So I don't wanna hear that garbage about "he's 30." So what. He's the freshest 30 year old RB out there.
  22. What year was the SB played in boy? http://en.wikipedia....Super_Bowl_XLVI Just to clear things up for you. Read the first couple sentences in case you have a hard time understanding dates. Super Bowl for the 2012 season is played in 2013. And if the world ended in December of 2012, how can there be a 2013 super bowl? Comprende?
