  1. He's already stated that the reason he wants out is not contract related. I'm pretty sure that he's not happy with his role in this offense. He sees an ineffective QB and he probably sees that team going nowhere with the Packers, Lions, and Bears in that division. I dont think it'll happen but this would be great. Just the thought of Stevie, Harvin, Nelson, Graham, and Donald Jones out wide is pretty amazing.
  2. True, but I don't see him as a Santonio Holmes type player. I met Santonio when he came into our offense a couple years ago and I could tell off the bat he had an EEEEGGGOOOOOOOO. To the millionth degree. Honestly Percy's been good and staying out of trouble as of late so why not? Winning cures a lot. If we can find a way to make his contract work, it'll be fine i think.
  3. If he can contribute in a major way and it puts us over the hump and could get us to the show? Yep. In a heartbeat.
  4. Percy isn't just a WR. That's why he'd be so great with an offensive mind like Gailey. Vikings offense right now is just Peterson. There's no thought as how to use Percy. Trade Brad Smith, 2nd and a 6th for him and I'll be happy/ For who? I think next year's class of QBs is pretty weak and we can sit and wait for a QB like Landry Jones or Geno Smith to fall to us in the 1st. I view us as picking some where in the high teens or early 20's this year and to move up to get someone like Barkley isn't going to happen. No WR is worth drafting within the first 2 rounds so I say why not? Draft a QB in the 1st and spend the 2nd on Percy who can be utilized as more than just a WR. That's just me.
  5. That's a great rebuttal. If you could care less, why'd you even bother to argue with what i said? If you're not going to back yourself up, don't say anything at all. You just don't care now because I proved you wrong. You brought up the whole age/weight argument. So you brought it up. You compared Finnegan to being 28 and Tyrann to being 20.
  6. You on crack? If we're in the market for a WR in next year's draft (which we will be), i'd fork over a 2nd round and something else for Percy. He can lineup ANYWHERE. RB, QB, WR, kick returns, punt returns. I've always said the Vikings are misusing him. They don't know how to use him and that's probably why he's growing frustrated up there. Who can blame him? He's better than any WR coming out of next year's draft and more versatile and he's still young. Just imagine what we could do with Spiller, Jackson and Percy. Chan would have a field day with those 3.
  7. I've already proved you wrong so you can stop your crying. Weight is a major factor as to why he's not a top 10 pick and more of a late first round pick.
  8. WTF are you talking about? First of all he's 20. He was heading into his Junior year at LSU, so he should weigh more. Patrick Peterson is only 2 years older and outweighs him by almost 40 lbs. There are FRESHMAN on the LSU roster that weigh about 175-180 at CB. Most of their junior and senior CBs weigh about 185-190. So I don't know what you're talking about. As a Junior, he weighs as much as every Freshman in the secondary. Just looking through their roster, they have a Freshman CB Jalen Mills who is 185 lbs as a freshman. Jalen Collins is a 195 lb Freshman at CB. Tharold Simon is a JUNIOR CB and he weighs 193 lbs. So your theory about age and weight has been debunked. I don't care how old he is. He needs to bulk up.
  9. We've been struggling with divisional games since the day before forever. Since 2002, we've posted a 20-40 record in divisional games and only one winning divisional record since then. It's pathetic. So many of you can say whatever you want about the Jets and Fins, we suck against them too. If we beat the Pats twice and lose 4 against the Fins and Jets, then who cares about the 2 wins against the Pats? I'd rather lose 2 to the Pats and sweep the Fins and Jets. It's not a 2 team race and I'm not underestimating the other 2 teams.
  10. I beg to differ. Not at the stage in his career.
  11. I think I'm gonna go to some random person's house. Sit on their metal chair and burn myself so I can sue them and make lots of money. Screw working. I'll suck it up and take one for the team.
  12. It's not even just about the Pats. We struggle against the Dolphins AND Jets.
  13. I'm not one to comment about making positional changes, but I think the coaches need to consider moving McGee to backup FS. His veteran leadership can be an asset in our secondary where we're so young. That also frees up room at CB to get younger. It'd be a waste to just cut McGee.
  14. has nothing to do with height but weight. McGee outweighs Tyrann by almost 30 lbs. Finnegan almost by 15 lbs
  15. Can we bring back Frank Reich?
  16. I expect Fitz to start the game by throwing 20 straight times and throwing a TD to Stevie. Then coming on the boards to read and hear everyone cry about Fitz throwing too much and Stevie's TD celebration.
  17. Only if we beat our divisional opponents. We've been PISSSSSSSSSSSS poor in divisional games.
  18. From what I saw from Brooks in the first preseason, I wouldn't be surprised if he was starting opposite Gilmore. I was flat out impressed and Williams has been..mehhh. I don't see the Bills cutting McGee but I wouldn't really be surprised if they did.

  20. Thanks for the play on words but I guess your name already describes you so I don't need to really say anything else. He got penalized TWICE. One DID NOT deserve a penalty. If his "WHY SO SERIOUS" shirt didn't get penalized, then his "HAPPY NEW YEARS" celebration shouldn't have gotten one either. Everybody on here critisizes him BEYOND BELIEF. "he should concentrate more on football and less on rapping." "he needs to grow up." "he needs to do this." Let him be. Dam. Stevie rarely gets called for penalties other than that.
  21. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=672nipSBn54 To all those btching and crying. Look at his 2011 TD highlights and point out what he's done so bad outside the Plax celebration? A fake spike. Jumps into the crowd, does his mixing dance, hands the ball to ref, heavens forbid!!!
  22. Mularkey needs to shut up and focus more on improving upon on his 28th ranked scoring offense than TD celebrations. Scobee and MJD accounted for 159 of their 243 points total points. That should be the last of his worries.
  23. WHO GIVES A FCK!!! Ohhh he's talking about it. He's also talked about stepping up and playing better and stepping up his game. He's talking about improving himself and getting more YAC yds. Team needs to imrpove....Whoopty fckin doo. If he doesn't get penalized and he constantly scores TD's, why the fck should u or anybody else care what he does to celebrate? Just means he's getting the job done and celebrating. I hope he gets in the endzone 15 times this year and dances his azz off just to piss people like u off.
  24. I think you guys are blowing Stevie's celebrations way out of proportion. Like I pointed out in another thread, his TD celebrations aren't as bad as YOU GUYS AND THE MEDIA ARE MAKING THEM OUT TO BE. Sure his Plax celebration was moronic but outside of that, none of his celebrations deserved a penalty. He dances and jumps into the crowd. WOW. He's such a bad person. I highly doubt that Stevie's brainstorming will affect his ability to play. Really people? I say if it doesn't hurt the team, let him do whatever he wants. Who cares.
  25. Considering that MJD and Josh Scobee are the only 2 players on their roster that regularly scores, I don't see this being an issue for them. And please shut up about Stevie's celebrations. So sick of hearing about it. He's not that bad !!!
