  1. Troy Polamalu. He can tackle like a LB. He has the speed to play CB and Safety. He can catch the ball. He has a high IQ and is as tough as a lineman.
  2. I would trade Moorman, Lindell, Young, and I'll throw in Leodis McKelvin in there for Andrew Luck.
  3. Hope Thigpen started packing his bags.
  4. http://sports.espn.g...tory?id=2788847 Yea you're right. I was wrong. Patriots never traded a 2nd and a 7th rounder for a Camp Fodder. This is what I'm talking about. If the Bills did this, you'd be calling for someone's head and there's NO WAY Welker would be what he is today. Patriots pulled the trigger. Patriots made him a household name. If Welker was so AMAZING, why didn't we trade our 2nd for him? Why didn't ANY OTHER team make the move?
  5. Sure he'd catch passes with those teams but I highly doubt he'll have the kinda success he's having with the Patriots. The Patriots were the ones that practically discovered his abilities and used it to their benefits. Thats why they forked over a 2nd rounder for him. ANY team could've had him for a 2nd rounder or 1st. That's my point. If the Patriots hadn't traded for him and not given him the opportunity, Welker would be another white possession WR like Stokely. He was camp fodder before the Patriots made him who he is today. You honestly think if we traded our 2nd round pick for Welker in 2007, and had him play for our team, he'd have 100 receptions, 1000 yds and close to 10 TDs? Sorry if I don't smoke the same stuff you're puffin.
  6. Colt Brennan had an amazing first game in preseason. 123 yds and 2 TDs? Just saying...It's freaking preseason.
  7. Who cares. He wasn't getting the job done and now he's out. Tired of hearing peoples thoughts on "potential" and how big they are.
  8. I don't think they'll do that. Personally I like Scott as our rover and I think that's where the coaching staff wants him. We'll find someone.
  9. If he does try out for an NFL team, I would imagine him trying out at WR.
  10. Because it's too simple to convert a WR to a Safety. Coaches want to make their jobs that much harder.
  11. It's clear that the passing game and WRs need the most amount of work on offense. So why wouldn't they call 50 consecutive pass plays? What's so hard to understand?
  12. Yes. Because Stevie is the only person in the league that celebrates. He's only had 1 celebration that was deserving of the penalty and done in poor taste which was obviously the Plax celebration. Name another celebration he's done that was worthy of a flag. What's he done? Wearing a tshirt that says Happy New Year? OOOH GEEZ. NOT THAT!! Dancing? Doing the Dougie and cat-daddying? Oh heavens forbid!!! Jumping into the crowd? Nooo. not that!!! His mixing celebration where he pretends to be mixing something? OOOH GEEZ. He's the WORST PERSON !!! Flashing his Fly Guy hand signal? OOOH GEEEEZ how could he!!! he had ONE BAD TD celebration that was done in poor taste. Stop acting like he's a Chad Johnson or T.O. or Desean. He hasn't done anything bad. Stop taking what the media's done and blow things out of proportion. I'm so sick of people talking as if his TD celebrations hurts his team all the time. Some people need to get a mind of their own and stop repeating the garbage that just floats around TV. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wEQCtTeEKdU&feature=endscreen Yes. All his TDs celebrations are OUT OF CONTROL !!!
  13. Welker in any NFL system would be but Belichick knows how to use him. Much like Brady, the Patriots take good players and make them look like superstars.
  14. I think too many people here have an obsession with Maybin. Maybe some of you guys secretly liked him but too afraid to come out and admit it.
  15. I'd like to have that as my ringtone too
  16. Don't know about Dwan but there's no way they're cutting Spencer.
  17. Still don't understand that punt call. I can watch that play a million more times and I still wouldn't understand what they were looking at.
  18. He'll catch on somewhere else. Wouldn't be surprised if the Bengals or Raiders gave him another shot. Raiders putting him back together with Palmer.
  19. Or maybe he wasn't that good to begin with? I've always wondered why he never ran any other routes other than a go-route. He's always been a one trick pony like maybin is on defense. Maybin just runs full speed and that's pretty much what Evans does. It's been shown that WRs who run slower but run better routes will outlast a burner in this league.
  20. You've just jinxed it HOUSE. I will bet that Merriman gets hurt next preseason game. Way to go
  21. Personally I don't mind the collars at all. Got my Nike jersey and love it. I think Nike's doing a great job on the new uniforms they have to be seen up close in person. TV doesn't do them justice. And personally. I LOVE the Seahawks new uniforms, especially the helmet.
