  1. There was a lot of wishful thinking going on with Tre this offseason. It's a nice feel-good story, but he was done 2 seasons ago.
  2. Josh pulling a Don Beebe on Buffalo Joe was funny
  3. I would comment that it's the least important position, but I know people would interpret that as me saying it isn't important at all. Check the average NFL salaries by position, the money will tell you what's important.
  4. He was cryptically good.
  5. He is not a below average starter. That "using him in a way" you describe means blowing out teams like the Jags, Titans, Jets, etc and forcing them into a 1-dimensional offense. When he's in prevent/dime he can be somewhat serviceable as his athletic limitations can be masked. That won't happen against the top AFC teams in the playoffs - they will target him.
  6. The Browns just named Flacco as their starter.
  7. This clown crowing about a minimum salary contract is something else.
  8. McD is too emotionally invested in him to cut him unfortunately.
  9. A lot of these backups sure don't look like they are fighting for a job.
  10. Meanwhile, in Atlanta...
  11. Better Cleveland than KC or Baltimore.
  12. So after the smoke settled it's $15.22M GTD, but with his $7.4M option bonus if he's on the roster in 2026 he's guaranteed to have ~$28M in his bank. So a slight embellishment by his agent (barring a year 1 catastrophic disaster of course). There's a painful out after year 2, and a easier out after year 3. As I tried explaining a few months ago, AAV has nothing to do with this. The 2nd contracts for RBs are somewhat unique, as it's all about term AKA GTD money and how easy the team can walk away. So for the past 4 months everyone screaming "he's not worth $15M a year!" or "I would only give him 12.5M tops!" were just yelling past each other into the wind.
  13. Well that wasn't Nix, that was the Marv/Jauron/Brandon era. But it would be close.
  14. Ya he was running over people downtown and basically a nutbag. Kudos to Pete Carroll for reining him in (somewhat). The Spiller pick was still monumentally stupid.
  15. Hamler definitely knows how to work the spotlight. McD messing with that ref had me fooled too
  16. What negativity hurt you? Are you going to be ok?
  17. Yeah, I watched the game. I seen the Sanders and Walker wins. This wasn't Tom Brady getting the ball out sub-2.0 lol It was Jaxson Dart, Tommy DeVito, and Jameis Winston for most of the game. Again, if Dart, DeVito, and Winston drop back 44 times and you can't sack them there's a problem.
  18. Well the problem of getting off the field on 3rd down would clear up with some pressure. Look, I know it's preseason. I don't expect stunts, overloads, or DBs blitzing off the edge. But the Giants dropped back 51 (!) times, you would think that just once one of our guys could beat his man clean.
  19. He had a few extra yards to spare, too.
  20. I was most impressed with Walker, and close behind was Milano. Least impressed with the Jacksons - Dane and Landon.
  21. There really was never a QB competition as White does not protect the football. He's only a doomsday scenario option.
  22. Why did Ray kick the 1st XP?
  23. Bills give season ticket holders a final chance to purchase seats at new stadium One last opportunity to get a seat at the new Highmark Stadium before moving on to those on the waiting list They are releasing the lowest tier PSLs at $750 80% of the stadium is now sold It should make for a sellout at the new stadium by the first quarter of next year The Bills anticipate there being a waitlist established for season tickets at the new venue
