I'm not happy with Tate on punt returns. His decision making is very questionable. Doesn't display the confidence you want to see in a punt returner. Wouldn't be surprised if we see some roster movement to find a returner. Taiwan Jones isn't the answer either. Need more work on Special Forces!

I think Tyrod's first three throws reflected the coaching he has received this offseason. It was when the protection broke down that he reverted to his bad habits of happy feet and leaving the pocket. I think the new running scheme is good and I think we'll continue to see gash plays throughout the season. I was troubled by the inability to pick up the first down with one yard to go, the line and Tolbert should be ashamed of the execution. D looks promising. Found it odd that the special teams penalties are linked to the one coach remaining from Rex's staff.

Episode 3 covers the Bills game during Week 5 of the season. Rams are 3-1 and tied for first place in the NFC West. Funny that Fischer calls it that if they keep doing what they're doing that they won't win another football game. Bills talk focuses on the run game. Greggo is preaching stop the "f$&@ing" run. They poke fun of Rex during the offensive film study. Interesting look at Bills "3" disrupters on D. Cool background of dog day where they brought their kids and dogs into work for victory Mondays. Interesting fake punt game planning against the Bills called Ram Right. I think we were lucky catching the Rams down three starting D line men. Funny how well the Bills travel. Lots of Bill's blue in the stadium. The Robey-Coleman pick 6 was awesome. The fake punt failed miserably. Great Tyrod touchdown to end it. Terrible timing for the loss in that they travel 11,000 miles over the next two weeks going to Detroit and London.

I don't believe that Frazier is just saying the right things at this point. The team will make fundamental changes in how they practice and game plan. We have the personnel to be a top 10 defense this year. If the offense can be the ball control offense that they are talking about I really think the defense could be well above average. I love what I'm hearing thus far. Just hoping the Kool Aid guy doesn't wreck my house running through the front door!

As to the Penn State info: O'Brien did start the turn around while dealing with extreme sanctions. Franklin has continued to grow the program and has infused great talent through his excellent recruiting. As a Vandy alum I was sad to see him go but, Franklin is a Pennsylvanian and wanted Penn State as his dream job. Hard to compete with that. Vandy offered to match his salary offer from Penn State but he wanted to go home. Would be tough to coax him out of there.

While the play of Gilmore has been questionable I've also wondered about the secondary calls. We've consistently played off man coverage in many situations this year; leading to easy completions on out and slant routes. Personally, I'd like to see more press coverage. Would be nice if someone breaks down the all22 to show the reason for the off coverage.

Serious question RE: pre-draft physicals/med evaluations. Does anybody know how the process works? Seems to be that several teams thought that Lawson would require surgery before the draft. I wonder what medical info is actually shared and how thorough the evaluation is? If anyone knows, I think it could shed some light on the topic. Thanks!
