  1. I live in the ATL, and my office of guys (ages 20 - 36) think they look great! It must be a Boomer thing
  2. I pretty sure the return will continue to grow. And the assets value is stable. What $1.4B investment is almost risk free and returns 7%? Trust me I love that they bought the Bills, but this is not charity.
  3. Both overrated! One solid game with no substantial previous profomance to backup beyond last week. I really don't put much value in Knowshon stats while playing with Peyton, almost every player has great stats when they play with him. As for Wallace we just defended three legit wide recievers and Matt Forte. Not concerned. Game will be won based on how well our O does against their D. We already know the Bills D will handle the Fins O. Plus, last time we played it was 19-0. Try not to overrate the oppinions of the National Media they only correctly predicted a few games last week.
  4. I would say the Bear's number one objective would be not injure EJ! Why would they want to risk Orton coming in the game?
  5. I have been dreaming about this game since the longest thread in TBD history. I hit F5 probably about a million times in three days to see if we had bagged Mario Williams. Then we parlayed that with Mark Anderson which I interpreted as "here we come Brady!" My thoughts are that the Jets game is the first game of the season and the Bills weren't ready. Now they have bounced back and you can say what you will but the Chiefs and Browns have been playing decent football. I also agree with the thought that Chan has been purposely holding this team back to open a can of Whoop A$$ on Brady and Co. I'm pumped.
  6. I think this could really be pitched strictly on increased ticket sales. For instance the Bills farthest division competitor would be Detroit, not Miami. My thinking is at least teams would increase their road traveling fans. I'd take the trip to Pittsburgh and Cleveland. Pitch it!
  7. I really am not a fan of Matt Schaub. I think there is a problem when you compare his numbers to Peyton Manning and Tom Brady. Both of them have never had a player like Andre Johnson. So you got me on Matt Schaub, You found one guy you'd rather have in the tier above, and he did beat the Patriots in 2009. Any other? I doubt it. Secondly, I don't think it is fair to take that win over the Patriots away from Fitzpatrick. It was a team win BUT he was playing at an elite level in the latter part of that game. Even in the beginning of the game his receiver's hands were the reasons for stalled drives and lack of scoring possibilities.
  8. I guess that is the reason why Bills fans have come accustom to poor defense play because we expect our players to let up. Listen, if he didn't hit him and Boss runs for a touchdown you guys would have called for him to be benched. I don't agree with a lot of these fines the commissioner has been putting out, including this one. There is a reason why the Steelers and Ravens put up solid D's every year is because their teams play aggressive.
  9. I'd take Fitzpatrick over every QB in his level and the one above. I believe that Mark Sanchez is the only other QB in that level and the one above that has beat the Patriots. That win was not coming from behind three scores either. I find it baffling that there is such a hate for Fitzpatrick. You must be the same people that wish we would have drafted Clausen. Here is the deal, you can always complain that Fitzpatrick sucks but how many draft picks has he cost the Bills? NONE! The Bills since 2004 have drafted three QB's. Losman in round 1, Trent Edwards in Round 3 and Levi Brown in Round 7. Why aren't any of them starting? You realize hitting on a QB is pretty much Luck (no pun intended). Look at Alex Smith, a bust in my book and the team just got lucky by not cutting him before Harbaugh got there. I'd much rather spend draft picks on other positions than take the risk on a busting on a QB! Sorry for the rant, go ahead and let the bashing begin.
  10. Cranks great call lets go for the guy who has lead the league in interception three times in his career and is well over his prime. http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/F/FavrBr00.htm
  11. All I have to say is Sanchez better get rid of the ball. Dareus was only a second year man in this game.
  12. Why would I respect Pete Prisco's grading when he gave the Seahawks the same grade as the Bills, They selected Bruce Irvin a situational pass rusher who was considered a second round pick at the lowest, our player can play every down and is considered the second best corner in the Draft.
  13. Since all of this is far from practical, I've had dreams about the Bills signing Mario Williams. His contract is up and I just thought that I could automatically say "Championship" if we had him signed. I mean if we are going to act like the Bills are getting all the top FA why not Mario?
  14. I'd say we probably should move to a four three and get Kyle and Dareus on the field together. That way we don't need anymore linebackers maybe draft a first round shutdown corner. I'd like to see the bills be able to play a physical man coverage all game long. Just my opinion.
  15. No before the season started the Bills could have been thought of this way. There was a large group of people who thought the Bills would be selecting Luck at number one. The irritating fact about Bills fans is we have so many sunshine Buffalo fans that join forums to talk about the Bills when they are on a winning streak but bash them when a major portion of the team is on injured reserve. I talked to two so called Bills fans before the season started, both talk about how the Bills couldn't keep "talent" like Poz, Whitner, and Evans. I thought we were better without them, and it was a significant changing of the guard. I'd take this team with the porous D over any we've had since 2000. The team is young, exciting, and every week they have a possibility of winning. I thought last Sunday there was no way the Bills with all the injuries could go to New York and put that many points up and be in the game to win. I'm loving this team for the rest of the season and I can only dream what next year will be like with all the players come back off of injury.
  16. I like the Chicken Little reference. This thread is one of the reasons I wrote that.
  17. How is Spiller a bust? It's the second year and he's a bust? I know you hurt because your favorite draft pick was released from the team this year (Maybin) but that doesn't mean that every other Bills first rounder is a bust.
  18. I was trying to bring light to this season, but I've failed.
  19. Vegas55 do you even know where Steve Johnson ranks in Bills Receiver History? I know you don't and I'm going to educate you on some Buffalo Bills knowledge before I send you off to route for a lame Jets. Stevie is ranked 28th in all time receiving yards for the Bills and is three yards from beating out Roscoe for 27th place. He will at the least 27th this weekend if not 26th. Steve Johnson is ranked 8th in season total receiving yards. He only started one game before 2010, and beat any of Andre Reed's first three season totals. Plus Andre started all of his first three years except one game. Reed also had two fumbles in his first and second year. Johnson has one. Johnson is doing very well and could possibly have the Bills Top receiving yard for any season this year.
  20. I'm irritated and frustrated with mostly a select few that believe the season is over after losing one game to the Bengals. I thought all of you "Chicken Little's" would like to play "Is the Sky Falling or is this a good season for the Buffalo Bills?" Since 1960 what is the Buffalo Bills win percentage? Well, little Johnny if you think it's above .500 you are WRONG! It's .470 Since 1960 how many winning seasons have the Buffalo Bills had? Twenty! Yep that's it, and they have had three .500 season in which two of them 2000 and 2002. In the 51 years of the Buffalo Bills how many points have they scored and how many have their opponents scored on them? The Buffalo Bills have scored 15322 points all time and their opponents have scored a grand total of 16214 points. Giving the Bills .94 points for every point their opposition scores or 6.6 points for every touchdown and extra point the other team gets. In our division what team(s) do we have a winning record against? The New York Jets 53 to 47. New England has beaten us 60 times to us wining 41 games, and the Dolphins have beaten us 53 to our 36 wins. What teams do the Bills have a winning record against? Colts 35-30 Chiefs 22-17 Broncos 18-15 Bengals 15-10 Packers 7-4 Redskins 7-4 Giants 6-4 Rams 6-4 Cardinals 5-4 Panthers 4-1 Texans 3-2 That is a total of 12 teams that the Bills have a winning record against. Please lets stop the crying get pumped that we have a winning team and get as loud as possible and drop the defeated attitude.
  21. I love how we led the league in almost all positive offensive stats and one bad game against a top three defense and now we are one dimensional. I'm starting to really hate our boards. The people here are worse than the National media. It's ONE GAME get over it. The philly game the Bills will run for 120 plus yards are we going to still be considered a one dimensional team? Oh yea if we lose that game we didn't throw the ball enough.
