Wow GB just blew this game!

This is a great game!

Ive mocked the Bills for some bad pass defending and interference this season but Thomas of SF just epically eclipsed any of that with his abysmal defending while staring at the ball!

Gronk at halftime: Nobody can beat the Ravens..... Seriously? They looked very beatable in the first half.

They were driving down the field before the half. They had just tied the game with a punt return TD and then got Baltimore off the field. That was only momentum they had for the entire game then they couldn't finish it. The missed FG just evaporated what modest positives their offense had achieved and Baltimore devoured them in the 2nd half

The Texans had the momentum before the half. Had they scored a TD there they might have put pressure on Lamar to play "hero ball" which he is terrible at. But they choked and then missed the FG to really let the Ravens off the hook.

I thought it was a chair at first too !

The last 2nd down play by the Ravens was a bad spot and then Singletary went Billsy on the 3rd down.

I have a funny feeling that the Ravens implode in this game. They are playing cold and have been sitting for 3 weeks. If Houston can get some breaks like a pick 6 or fumble return TD, they can leverage that to create maximum stress. The Ravens will panic and wont be able to catch up.

Its always been so strange to me how much drop off there is between starters and back ups/ bench warmers in the NFL. I dont think this is as apparent in any other sport. You would think that these guys would be chomping on the bit to get in there and show their stuff. I actually thought that Klein did a great job doing this in the Pittsburgh game and even Elam seemed to up his game coming in. My hope for all these backups that have to start is that they have got a lot of first team reps in this week and are ready and motivated to prove something!

Yes thats true! So one can only conclude that the NFL's decision to use Hoculi is: 1. Intensely stupid and oblivious to his bias and incompetence ...... (quite possible) or 2. Utterly corrupt and favoring the Chiefs to win. (also possible)

Our only hope is if we are lucky enough to be up by 3 scores before the Hoculi bias intervenes. Wasnt it Shawn himself who was staring directly at the horse collar on Josh from 10ft away in the video above?? One of the worst non calls of the season but then exacerbated by his intentional grounding call!!

Thats might be a convenient explanation by the NFL but is also guaranteed total BS. The camera angles are provided by the broadcaster not some double secret officials spy camera! The NFL (as usual) is covering for its incompetent refs and its nonsensical rule book.

Yes that's the rule but what a stupid rule it is. If the ball is in bounds and then an out of bounds player POSSESSES it then it should be deemed out of bounds. Not simply if they touch it. The Steelers player who fumbled it had no idea he even touched the ball (if it actually hit him) let alone possessed it.. In addition the play was not called a fumble in the first place. The officials seemed to not see the obvious fumble. So that should have been the call and Bill's recovery and Pittsburgh should have had to challenge it to say that an out of bounds player touched it, not the Bills. Instead the refs just made up some BS on the spot, No fumble, Yes Fumble oh yeah fumble that was touched by fumbling teams player so no change of possession. Absolutely ridiculous amateur hour officiating. and here's another question. if the player that first touches the ball on a fumble has just gone out of bounds then shouldn't it be illegally touching? (Like players who go out of bounds and then come back in on punt coverage?)

Its actually quite sad to see this because he was so go at this move and now looks so tentative. Is Miller snake bitten about trusting the knee? or did the surgery just not work the way it was supposed to?

Yes and he was sometimes iffy on grass for some reason if memory serves but with all that he still was expected to make that kick in the SB. Maybe as fans we were a little oblivious to the statistical realities back then as there was no internet to check and worry about stats on a daily basis but we certainly had the perception that he was one of the better kickers in the league.
