  1. Shrader - I was planning on doing the same thing because my wife and I never go anywhere alone (without the three kids) and Christmas gift ideas are hard to come by lately. Glad you started this thread. So I finished finalizing my trip plans this morning and used a lot of the advice from these guys in this thread. Leaving April 25, returning April 28. Non stop flight via Southwest. Shuttle to MGM Grand from airport. Upgraded to a Deluxe King room over standard King room. Arrive around 5pm, plan on getting settled, walk around, have dinner, maybe play some BlackJack, poker, then get ready for full day on Tuesday and Weds to see shows, antique car exhibit, Bellagio water fountain show, Treasure Island show, gamble some, swim/pool, etc. Really cheap and inexpensive flight and hotel. Looking forward to this trip. We have never been to Vegas. Quick question guys: Can I bring cash on an airplane? I was thinking of getting my cash for the betting, etc. the day before and bringing it with me (to avoid ATM fees out there). Any restrictions on bringing cash on airplanes?
  2. Counseling?? For what? * Tell me you don't cherish the fact that we can knock others out of the playoffs? * Does it not feel good to impose heartache and depression in the minds of the NYC or Indy fanbase? * Would you seriously be upset if we failed to make the playoffs but, instead, were able to solidify our role as a "Spoiler Dynasty"? You, sir, need to look at the glass half full.
  3. I think you're the exception to the rule. Many of us want to continually be the thorn in the side of other teams who are posers. Maybe that's what Rex was talking about when he said he wanted to build a "Bully". A "Bully" doesn't always get great grades and they don't get to walk on stage as a member of the National Honor Society...but they are the ones who give a fat lip to the kid who wanted to go to prom resulting in disappointment and canceling dinner reservations. I want to be that guy for another 15 years.
  4. Screw the Playoffs...bunch of pansy ass teams with weak banners ("2015 Playoff Divisional Finalist")....I want a banner for the Bills that reads "We Knocked You Out of the 2015 Playoffs...Eat ****"
  5. ....as spoilers. Hear me out. If you can't be in the playoffs...if you can't drink from Lord Stanley's cup, if you can't raise the Wimbledon bowl over your head....why not be the son of a B word that prevents someone else from doing it? Who really wants to be in the Playoffs when you can prevent a team like the Jets from making it...or the Chiefs or the Colts, etc. I'd take 15 years of squashing the hopes and dreams of other AFC teams over one lousy year of a Wild Card thumping. Go Bills. Don't let me down this year...I wanna see Fireman Ed cry.
  6. I failed Algebra in high school (didn't fail it outright but I got a D)....these playoff scenarios give me flashbacks.
  7. I'm not a lawyer but I play one in my office. Ummmmmm, I don't believe NY recognizes alcoholism as a disability (unlike CA). It's a money grab. If the job meant that much to him, he should have avoided appearing drunk during "work hours". But I'm an old fuddy duddy...what do I know?
  8. You could buy them a subscription to Two Bills Drive. It's a regular $30/year (I just got mine reduced to $28.99 because I arranged for ACH transfer to Beerball to avoid delays).
  9. I think he's referring to the conversion software that runs Windows on any device.
  10. Get him in to space. Duh
  11. What does that stand for? I've tried to figure it out but no luck.
  12. Is there a colored overlay for my Facebook page for "Exacto Knife Awareness"?
  13. I've narrowed it down to three: 1) Who am I?? 2) Did anyone else see The Sound of Music last night? 3) What is George Washington's greatest accomplishment?
  14. Go to your "Settings" then go down to "Accept Free Downloads" then click "All offers" then click "Make Google Your Default Browser" then click "Yes" when it asks if you are sure you want to substitute Windows for iOS. It took me awhile to figure it out on mine but it works.
  15. Who controls the watch list? I suppose some southern preacher who is against homosexual marriage could be placed on the watch list by some sniveling, government bureaucrat? Pretty soon, anyone who utters a word against Islam will be on the list. Anyone who hates green apples...watch list. Be careful what you wish for gator.
  16. Is this news? I would have been shocked if she pledged allegiance to Billy Graham.
  17. Wait... What? I thought The Shooting Tracker proved we are on the verge of seeing showdowns at high noon on Main Street America?? What is this craziness you speak of?
  18. http://themanterialist.com/2014/02/28/the-kitty-generation/ LAGrant - There is no counseling, coddling, or caressing Islamoterrorists, pissed off husbands or mental defects...they will kill with whatever weapons they have at their disposal. The sooner you realize this, the sooner you will appreciate the fact that you have a Constitutional right to protect yourself. If one or two of the folks who were killed in San Bernardino had a concealed pistol, they may have reduced the number of people killed or shot (or whatever neat little statistical box you wish to put them in). The fact that so many "youngins" are now being taught to sympathize and coddle those who are radical muslims with the hope that they will be spared life or injury speaks to the pussification of your generation (I assume you are in your early to mid twenties). Do you honestly think you can reason with these scum? Are you going to hold your hands up and say "Wait Wait....I'm with you...I'm a good guy...shoot that NRA member over there". You'll get a bullet in your head before you ever hear him (or her) laugh at you. Wake up Skippy - The only person who can protect you from violent death is not the Government, it's not your Facebook postings or your Twitter followers. It's you! You have to defend yourself, and your wife, children, and property.
  19. The Shooting Tracker: "Welcome to the mass shooting tracker, as featured by CNN, MSNBC, The Washington Post, The Economist and more." "Here at the Mass Shooting Tracker, we count the number of people shot rather than the number people killed because, "shooting" means "people shot"." (This sounds like a really gimmicky radio spot) "Maintaining a list like this also punches a hole in the NRA argument that if mass shootings are televised, more mass shootings will occur via copycats. In fact, many of these shootings do not receive more than a day's worth of local coverage. Yet mass shootings continue to occur anyway. We actually think mass shootings should receive morepublicity, not less." Everyone has an agenda.
