Great point!! just because he missed on those guards doesent mean he missed on this one. One thing for sure we will know by the end of preseason. If they dont bring in so more new talent to compete for the roster spots on the line I will be disappointed.

Lets see, this guy has won starting jobs at 2 different teams at 2 different positions. Not even close to a pro-bowl player but still a much safer bet that hoping to find an upgrade in the draft with a player with no NFL starts. Even if a better upgrade comes out of the draft, the bills will have a quality backup at least.

I cant speak of the quality of the tracker, but I cant say I have seen this guy play either. My thought is that may thought the Bills were in dire need of a guard and they got one that they believe is better than anyone they have. If some of the "experts " put him higher on the list how bad of a grab is he. Sometime the best of the worst is still the best option and better than doing nothing.

Polians draft tracker didnt show more than 1 guy that was higher rated... Everyone was yelling that we needed a guard and this guy was a top AVAILABLE guy... What do you want!!!

He did not look too bad when the Jets were playing in two AFC championship games. If the money is right why not let him tryout...Its not like we had great QB play last year.

Before saying take him or trade back we need to know what other teams are willing to offer. To pass on a super star to take your chances on an extra lower pick doesent make sense. If he is that good a team should be willing to give picks next year too.

No salary cap on trainers. Dollar for dollar their might not be a better investment that a team could make.

As the author stated at the end of the article is we dont have enough info no him to run the analitics stuff. But, the coaches have all the data on the guy, they know exactly how many times he beat the coverage. Also, how many good blocks he threw to help the run. I believe many of the current receivers will need to earn a roster spot next year!
