  1. The league will have two weeks (16 days as of today), worth of data that since the Titans first tested positive on 9/24. Since then the team has averaged about 1.5 positive tests per day. And over that time we have learned that multiple position groups have met outside the facility to practice together and the team has been very lax with bringing UDFA, masks, contact tracing etc. But now suddenly, we trust the contact tracing data and if somebody on some list tests positive after he enters team facilities on say Sunday, it is totally fine and we will play...? ...and that is because we expected them to get COVID, maybe. Even though we maybe thought it could happen, we let them in the facility, and it did, so whatever. But if somebody else gets it, it is a wild anomaly, not possibly due to bad data from a lax organization, or transmitted from what seems to be like the Florida of NFL football teams.... ...if that is the case we are back to business as usual. Sequester said player, put on your blind folds, and go play Tuesday? I am sorry, is the NFL actively trying to gaslight me specifically? The player has been in quarantine, but also met outside of practice, so have they really been in quarantine? Are players who were in close contact with Covid-positive players allowed in the facility Sunday assuming no positive tests tomorrow? Bonus question. If they are allowed in, then test positive, WTF is it OK to play the game, and not shut down TN for another week?
  2. Am I an idiot, or is everybody else trying to wrap their heads around the logic on this one?
  3. Imagine being the Titans and seeing that the dumpster fire that is the Jets under Gase and Greggo voluntarily manage this pandemic better than you do.
  4. Just to confirm. I checked my local CBS affiliate in Albany, it is on up in the capital region. Looks like it should be a national game.
  5. I think since was one of, if not the first Thursday Night game Fox has. Unsure what other games they have, but I would look for them to have control over some flexing during the year. I am thinking Fox gets Buffalo v. Seattle moved in November. Either 4 pm or swap out GB v. SF.
  6. I think the biggest complaint, at least from me, is that the Bills are living in a ton of uncertainty that isn't unnecessary. If the league said, "We made a decision today, we are going to try and get this game in this weekend, but we need to prove incredibly healthy. We are 100% moving the KC game to Sunday/Monday/whatever. No matter what happens from here on out, KC v. Buffalo is on the calendar on this day at this time. Players who we can 100% confirm were at the out of facility practice, breaking COVID protocol will not be playing due to inherent risks to both the Buffalo Bills and the NFL. Players who have tested positive at any point for Tennessee in the last 10 days will be held out of this weeks game due to organizational failure to adhere to and respect our covid protocols. The league will be personally managing the test results from the Titans moving forward. If there is a single positive test between today and Monday, this game will be cancelled. We will announce when or if we will play a make up game later in the year" We would all be fine. But as of right now the Bills might play KC on Thursday or Sunday, and we won't know until this Sunday and we won't know if we play Tennessee until basically Tuesday. It does not have to be that way though.
  7. Does anybody feel like this Bills Titans game is the NFL's Fyre Fest?
  8. Does anybody else feel like this game is the NFL's Fyre Fest? Can we get our airport and tempo guys to make sure that Goodell stays off his knees around customs officers?
  9. I don’t know for sure, but this is my guess. Fox owns that match up. I am assuming contractually, Fox can’t just go ahead and air another Monday night game against ESPN or a Sunday Night game against NBC. Fox is basically locked in to Thursday night or Sunday at 1 or 4.
  10. Very unsure on this. I thought with the hype yesterday they would. Now I don’t know. I have a feeling they won’t get any punishment until after they play Buffalo. I don’t know why, just something in my gut. I am not sure that’s definite. We saw 2-3 cases with the titans get reported over the course of hours yesterday.
  11. Curious on your thoughts on a 2 game suspension for players who attended off campus practices. 2 games because they’ve had to reschedule two games. Granted that could be 30 players since it sounds like there were 3 positional practices. But that’s a different problem that needs a different solution all together.
  12. I don’t actually know how they field a team. They have 14 players in COVID IR. I also think that players who attended the off campus practices should be suspended for at least 2 games since they messed up two regular season games in Pitt and Buffalo. Looks like there were at least 3 position groups. You’re basically pulling up 25 players from the practice squad at that point.
  13. Saw that floated as well, but since the NFL tentatively announced dates, they haven’t mentioned suspensions.
  14. Well played. I meant the guys who attended out of facility practices.
  15. If this game goes off Tuesday. Suspensions and fines need to already be in place. No Vrabel in the building. No illegal practice players on the roster.
  16. We are bending over backwards for a team that has been actively breaking the rules for weeks now. And we are doing it while inconveniencing the Steelers, Bills, and Chiefs. This wasn’t an unfortunate spread. This was a team trying break the rules and putting the league at risk. Im less mad about trying to play the game and more frustrated with the lack of leadership, communication, and information from the league. Except there is another team who doesn’t know exactly who they are playing when.
  17. We don’t know that yet. The league has basically said “We are going to try and play Tuesday, but that might not work, and if it doesn’t, just play KC on Thursday per normal” I find this “decision” useless and actually more frustrated than earlier. They’ve had months to prep contingencies. Tennessee has been effing around for weeks. And what we have now still is, the contingent is contingent and some very loose guidelines.
  18. For a team that has a one off test. You find a way to be malleable. For Tennessee, if they can’t get it under control, go home, it’s been 2 weeks at that point.
  19. The team has tested positive almost daily for a week plus. The abnormality is the day or two they didn’t add to their case count, not the days they did. Having zero new infections on Saturday is irrelevant. They should be subject to testing until the morning of the game. Any positive test is a forfeit.
  20. Shocked they didn’t work Buffalo/KC into a more prime time slot. Wait, Gunner you’re in the UK? Who are you, Andrew Lincoln?
  21. I understand the timeline for the Tennessee game going off. But let’s say Tennessee has a positive test Saturday. Is Buffalo still on for Thursday against KC? Or in you scenario, if we see positive test Monday morning, is Buffalo expected to turn on a dime and start prepping for KC? That’s the date that is important. Otherwise nothing is different and the league is still jerking everybody around. More than anything that’s what’s bothering me the most. Agreed, Titans test positive for another few days. I think they should also be tested night before/morning of, if they can get results on time, and a single positive test costs them the game entirely.
  22. Small issue of timeline here. “As long as there are no more positive tests” and “but goes back to positive tests” Sounds like Buffalo v. KC could still play KC Thursday. What is the date of no return, where we say no matter what happens after x, Buffalo plays KC on Sunday? Is it tomorrow, Saturday, Monday?
  23. This place really is our own little slice of heaven, isn't it?
  24. Throw some big mac sauce on those puppies and you have yourself a party.
