  1. Feels like punting from the Bills 37 on 4th and 1 down 6 with just over 3 minutes to go...
  2. And as Dan said previously, why do a walk through at all then ? What purpose does it serve if you aren’t really doing plays you’ll use? You’d just not do the walk through. No reason to march you team out to the field just to have them wander around doing plays they’ll never use. There are much, much more effective uses of the players time leading up to a Super Bowl.
  3. Your last 2 points, he knew these 3 weeks ago, when he accepted the job. And he knew them when he was packing his stuff up Tuesday morning. QB Controversy? If the Colts know his shoulder is bum, they've accepted that they need to replace Luck. The pressure to replace Luck? Please. How about the pressure of taking over, if that what was promised to him, for the greatest football coach ever AND replacing the best QB ever? Yea he obviously chose the situation with less pressure
  4. Could easily be that or he knows he'll have the Pats** job in a year or something. He's an idiot for staying though. He won't have Brady when he gets the job, he probably won't have the #3 pick. Yea, maybe the Pats** are a better run organisation but man is he going to have a tough job following up the greatest football coach ever.
  5. TRADE — Buffalo Bills (from Giants): Josh Rosen, QB, UCLA http://www.sportingnews.com/nfl/list/nfl-mock-draft-2018-order-steelers-bills-giants-49ers-eagles-patriots/12s4l8ufbwr581kvdktr5z69co/slide/2
  6. Not buying the Andrew Luck narrative. The Colts have the #3 pick. If Luck shoulder really is bust, he still could have picked one at #3. And if he can't win without a QB in place, that says all you need to know about him.
  7. I'm not really buying the Luck injury is worse than McDaniels originally thought narrative. The Colts still have the #3 pick. He could have selected the QB of the future. Yea, not buying it. They still have the #3 pick. He could have gone there and selected a new QB. There are plenty of QBs to select from in this draft. If he only wants to go to a team with a proven QB, he's an even worse coach than originally thought. It's a weak excuse.
  8. Apparently he’s got family in Tonawanda... but said he was here on business ?
  9. It's about route combos though, not timing. Helping the QB find the open guy easier. Suppose I don't really know what he meant by precision. I just assumed he meant Kirk would be a good WCO QB, which I think he's right.
  10. That's not even really true anymore what Gaughan said. With Dennison leaving the precision-passing WCO is gone.
  11. Not sure what he thinks of Hue and now Todd Haley though. Only problem, I can see. But they can easily give him the most up front money.
  12. I don't think you throw him to the trash heap before the season, every team needs a camp arm. Saying that, you bring in competition and make him earn his job, he shouldn't get any free passes because he's a.) a young QB or b.)went into action early. He should be treated like every other player that is drafted late. If a better prospect comes along and beats him out, then so be it.
  13. And not every draft pick pans out... it cuts both ways. Kirk Cousins needs, as proof in Washington, a good solid team around for him to succeed. That's not the Bills at this point. You would have to hope that the Bills absolutely smash the draft and that who they draft is able to be a day 1 starter. We know this isn't possible. And lets not forget Cousins would have to choose to come to Buffalo with other teams out there with better talent. No it won't, you are exaggerating greatly. Drafting a QB every time is high risk. There have been a handful of can't miss QBs but at some point you need to draft one. Let me ask you this, Cousins signs with Buffalo, comes here and does exactly what he's done in Washington record wise. How far back does his contract set the Bills?
  14. Trade up. Without question.
  15. A very well written article. Another player not able to retire on his own terms.
  16. I was thinking more with their 4th pick.
  17. Cleveland backs up the brinks truck and drafts Barkley.
  18. I wonder if the Browns go hard for Cousins and trade the 1st overall pick? They can just throw him a ton of money. They'd still have the #4 pick and a chance to get Barkley.
  19. My god that was the worst part of the unit.
  20. Damn Evening Tribune!
  21. I think if he retires now, as in puts in the paperwork, the Bills get wacked with the full money on this years salary cap.
  22. Thursday night was the tweet, then all Friday was the wild goose chase. People just speculating and then Friday right after Howard and Simon went off air it was finally revealed who it was. He then had to release a statement.
