  1. 2012 - 5.0 ypc for the Bills as a team with Chan 2014 - 4.2 ypc for McCoy So maybe there's something to "It was Fred's Turn"
  2. GM, for better or worse, will get credit/blame for personnel. But lets not act like the Assistant GM/Director of Pro Personnel has absolutely no say in the process. Nix did a lot of good things while here, but Whaley was right there with him, and has continued the trend since Nix left. If anything, Whaley should at least get credit for: - EJ (some say blame) - Woods - Kiko* - Hughes - P. Brown - Robey - Graham - Watkins - McCoy* - Harvin - Clay To me that furthers the trend of finding and improving the talent on this team.
  3. A lot better than many first pitches I've seen!
  4. Alright, since people are getting all confused about when Whaley had influence, lets just go with the obvious and give him credit/blame for everything since 2010. It's not like Whaley is the only person making decisions as GM, and it's not like he was completely ignored before becoming GM.
  5. ....yeah I guess we'll just agree to disagree.
  6. Bad relative to most NFL head coaches? Sure, I'll give you that. But he's still part of the NFL head coaching pool, which you have to be pretty good to be a part of.
  7. "Playing at the same, or close to, the same level" is not just throws, and nowhere did I infer such a message. If the results of the offense/game are similar, I'm going to play the younger guy because developing a QB is a very important part of long term success in this league. Whether that's EJ, Tyrod, Tuel, or some new rookie, I don't really care that much.
  8. Seriously? There's 32 NFL HC jobs.... and a lot of money riding on these teams. I doubt HCs are just hired nilly willy among friends. The coaching staff on a team, might be a different story, but even then, you have to be good at your job, with some sort of resume. Sure Chan might not be among the better of the "top 32", but he's in said 32, which means he's probably decent at the job of "coaching".
  9. Maybe I'm weird, but I feel like if a rookie/young QB is playing at the same, or close to, the same level as a vet QB, you play the young guy to see if he can develop into something more.
  10. Not sure why it needs to be mutually exclusive. The way I see it, Nix did some good things, laid a foundation and mentored Whaley a bit, Whaley came in and built on that.
  11. If they keep getting jobs then they must be doing something right. It's not like the NFL is easy to get into, you still have to be the best of the best.
  12. Huh? They were taken in the same draft... who is saying that? But even then, I'm ok with going back further to see Whaley's impact on the roster. He's been in the trenches so to speak for a while.
  13. We all know it was because of the teams involved
  14. Not a great showing by either. Question is... if this is Cassel's numbers 10 years into his career, is it safe to expect that's what we'll likely see from him now? What about EJ? 2 years into his?
  15. Curious to hear from those that voted D/F, and their reasoning. I assume it's the QB position.
  16. Actually his logic is, its too early to make a final conclusion. The same would go for JP. You give them a bit longer, and they either figure it out, (in the case of the first 4) or they don't (JP).
  17. To be fair, both liberal leaning, and conservative leaning, media tend to talk over the opposite side when interviewing, for obvious reasons.
  18. In other words, every analyst will say these players suck at the end of the season, because their numbers went down.
  19. I still doubt a true Libertarian will get the final candidacy, it'd be like a true Socialist winning the Democratic candidacy... a little too extreme either way for most Americans to swallow. At the very least he'll make the primaries interesting, and could make a decent running partner for the final candidate.
  20. Kyle Williams is my only sure thing. FredEx is awesome, and the heart of the team in many ways, but his career numbers aren't really there to justify it. Other guys are too young, or haven't been "career" Bills, in order for me to consider.
  21. I wish the NFL would force him to retire, honestly. I'm truly concerned for his long term mental health.
  22. Not surprising, we can't/don't want to give up much more money at this point.
  23. I have a feeling I'll be a head floating in a jar, on a space ship.
  24. I'm curious now, has there been any confirmed talk of the Bills taking any interest in Moore?
