  1. You never want a rookie QB to start immediately. Sure, you have your Peyton Manning's and Matt Ryan's who do well, but there's a huge learning curve. You draft a QB early so you can sit him and learn and plug him in when he's ready. It's really not that difficult of a concept.
  2. http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=martez+wilson&aq=f It's called Youtube. It's all the rage these days.
  3. Gabbert, Quinn, or Dareus should be our first pick.
  4. I've taken an extensive look at Quinn and he's impressive. Ability to bend and get around the corner, and the strength to play the run. Bullrush, speed rush, and plays with a high football IQ. Ability to sniff out screens, athletic. I like Quinn.
  5. The more I think about it, if we don't take Gabbert and Dareus is gone, Quinn should be our guy.
  6. And the sky is blue. Just keepin it real.
  7. I think we should take Mark Ingram at 3
  8. Joe Montana was the least accurate QB coming out of college and ended up being one of the most accurate QB's in the NFL. Am I saying that Locker will do that? Nope. But I know that we have the luxury of sitting him 2 years and learning from Fitz and Chan. With his physical abilities, and motivation to prove people wrong, he'll be a star in this league. Doubters can doubt, but this kid will do well if he doesn't have to start right away.
  9. You've paid about 35 dollars too much for that Spiller jersey.
  10. If he was drafted that early and hasn't made an impact within the first year and a half, or 2 years, he's not gonna show anything now. Good pass rushers should show something early. There isn't a big learning curve on pass rushers. Either you do it, or you just don't. I would've been happy with 3 or 4 sacks in his rookie year.
  11. I guess you don't love football as much as you thought you did.
  12. We don't have one of those players. Maybe Moorman or Kelsay.
  13. If Marcell isn't there and we're definately taking a defensive player at 3, then I'd prefer Quinn over any of the other guys.
  14. WTF does money have to do with his health? If this is true, why is Steve Job's health in jeopardy? I guarantee you he has more money than Ralph. And he's younger. WOW
  15. If you bothered to read any of my posts, MY point is that you can't base the future of a QB off college stats. If you don't bother to read any of my posts, then i suggest you shut your trap. This post was strictly for the people that keep bringing up his college accomplishments and say that accuracy can't be improved. I suggest you read my other posts before you say anything. You're just making yourself look ignorant.
  16. Considering we never keep a really good player for more than 4 or 5 years, I just don't see the point. I'd get a custom one.
  17. Why? He's already disgraced himself, the game and most importantly his poor wife.
  18. And maybe we can go back in time and cryogenically freeze Jim Kelly, Bruce Smith, Andre Reed, Thurman Thomas, and Cornelius Bennett's bodies and bring them back to the future to play for us this year.
  19. QB_A - DAN MARINO QB_B - JOE MONTANA QB_C - JIM KELLY QB_D - RYAN LEAF QB_E - JAMARCUS RUSSELL QB_F - BRADY QUINN QB_G - BRETT FAVRE According to some of you, Dan Marino, Joe Montana, and Jim Kelly would've had HORRIBLE careers because they sucked and were inaccurate in college, while Brady Quinn, Leaf and Russell would've torn it up because they were accurate. I guess Cam Newton WILL be better than Joe Montana and Dan Marino since his college numbers were better. As far as I can remember, Jamarcus Russell also put up prolific numbers in the SEC and won many games including a national championship as well and had a great record in college. Why? Because I've educated all the Newton supporters that his numbers and accomplishments are BS? Your welcome for the education. Sure you don't.
  20. Thoner. Is that your site?
  21. I guess you failed a lot of tests in school. I've read a lot of posts in here claiming, this QB is better than that QB because he has a better completion percentage, better numbers, blah blah blah. So I've made this poll to prove a point. And as of right now, QB_F has the lead? I guess a lot of you would love to have Brady Quinn as their QB over Joe Montana, Jim Kelly and Dan Marino.
  22. Where are all the experts? If you're googling names to find out who they are, NFL scouts don't have the luxury of looking into the future and googling so don't be cheating now.
  23. Those who hate Locker because his numbers suck and accuracy can NEVER be improved. Right? Don't be afraid to vote now.
