  1. I love the positive energy! The second half of the season is going to be where it's at. Last year's defense didn't begin to hit on all cylinders until the second half of the season, and this year's improved offensive roster will likely be healthy come week 9 or 10. The pendulum is about to swing hard baby!
  2. Playoffs plus Super Bowl plus regular season.
  3. Leodis' return will be interesting.
  4. I agree. They are a 15 win team.
  5. I wonder what it will be like with Leodis coming back and playing the slot. His quickness may help him blitz better than Robey.
  6. The Bills got a reality check. Better now than later in the season. A HOF HC, QB, and a GRONK fresh off a Super Bowl win and something to prove after deflate gate was still entertaining. This team will grow from this in my opinion. If they can remain healthy, November could be a time when they really start to fire on all cylinders en route to the playoffs.
  7. I was hoping to see Rex line Mario Williams up directly across from Gronk whenever he was on the line and pass rush through his lane every time. Force him to at the very least to get around Mario, and at best force Gronk to fully engage or get pancaked. You have to run pressures right at some of these big TEs and allow the coverage to get a step or too into the passing lanes. With a perpetual 2 step drop, anyone tight to the line needs to deal with extra traffic. Belicheat incorporated a wide-9 with inside blitzes to delay TEs and RBs from getting to the next level on time. It's a game to grow on for sure.
  8. Bellicheat pulled off some exotic looks and pressures himself. Hopefully this inspires Greg Roman to incorporate some of the 2 step game for situations where the pass protection is evidently not going to be great.
  9. Chandler will get leveled by Bradham at some point and likely fumble.
  10. BB doesn't play special teams. If he did and was productive, perhaps Dixon would have been the odd man out. Dixon offers more as a third stringer in terms of versatility, attitude, and ball security. Given the fact that the Bills have a bonafide FB, they are in pretty good shape at RB.
  11. This game was never close. And yet...
  12. There was a game yesterday?
  13. A novel approach to improving one's own self-esteem.
  14. To say that Wilson doesn't deserve to be the highest paid player in the NFL completely misses the point of any contract negotiation. Perception is reality, and clearly the Seahawks understand the value of the QB position and getting to Super Bowls. Without Wilson, my perception of the Seahawks playoff chances diminishes considerably while saving only some money. I say some money because other players, new and old, will eat up the saving within a few seasons, while possibly settling for mere playoff appearances rather than making deep runs. Wilson has well earned leverage right now, like it or not.
  15. What is best for Cordy may not be best for the O-line. It would be great for him to start at LT going into a contract year. We all are fans of his. If those guys can actually play him off of the tackle spots, that would be pretty impressive. Plus, his move to guard would vastly improve the run game. Over all, such an event seems hard to imagine. Cordy is a good tackle.
  16. Under the bar, perhaps?
  17. McKelvin is a dyed in the wool press corner. That is the game he gets out of bed with in the morning. If he is healthy, he will shut his side down more often than not. Pettine used him right and he played great football in that scheme.
  18. You said it all. It's quite an example for the kids.
  19. I would make him play for the Bills...indefinitely.
  20. Even Parcells lamented the challenges of finding the right QB. These guys are just rare, and I like the fact that the roster is being filled out despite the lack of having one. If and when the Bills have or acquire a true stud, that player will be in a very enviable and advantageous situation. It is what it is. Given the massive shake-up that may or may not happen at O-line, I believe the QB competition will be complicated enough. I am satisfied to watch this season play out knowing that this is not the same old Bills, and they will be fully loaded with their draft picks and players that are good enough to perhaps get traded for additional first round ammunition if there is a QB they really want in 2016. Patience is a virtue.
  21. Who again did Polian want the Bills to draft? I am tired of the use of pronouns in reference to the draft. Yes, the Bills need a QB, but who EXACTLY? It's about specific players, not generic positions being thrown around as if guys can just be pulled out of hat. Until Polian returns as GM, I could care less what he has to say. He has no skin in the game which makes him another blip-vert puking Max Headroom in my book. Besides all that, I am excited to watch his HoF induction. Go Bills!
  22. A good example for the young people as they formulate their approach to life.
  23. I don't care what these guys have to say. When the ball is snapped, the team will speak as a whole. I will be listening then, wherever that may be. Go Bills!
