  1. They also shelled out one thousand four hundred piles with a million dollars in each for the privilege of meddling to their heart’s content.
  2. As a side note, of course NFL owners never have a ton of experience running an NFL franchise. You just can’t earn enough money building NFL front office experience to ever afford to buy a team. I wouldnt be surprised if Terry and Kim wanted to ditch a guy with Brandon’s...colorful reputation. They seem to respond to a family values type of crowd, but needed to keep him on for a few years to learn the ropes while they built their own network of contacts.
  3. Perhaps you are misunderstanding what people are saying here. Nobody really cares about Bob from Marketing dating Sally from Accounting. Bob and Sally can have loads of fun like two consenting adults are want to do. This is not at all what we are talking about here. We are talking about someone at the top of the food chain propositioning subordinates. This is bad. This gets you forced to resign in disgrace. How this is even a conversation is eye-opening.
  4. Lol no dude, women don’t like being propositioned for sex by their boss. No matter how much you just ooze masculinity and raw sexuality, they just want to do their work in peace.
  5. Some pretty solid hot takes from the “healthy male sexuality is being vilified” crowd when dudes aren’t allowed to rub up against their female coworkers anymore. I know you guys are just drooling to shake your out-of-touch fists at all those social justice warrior snowflakes, but uh, the guy resigned from his job due to the allegations. He wasn’t fired. If if he were innocent of wrong doing, he was perfectly able to not resign and challenge his termination through legal remedy. But yah, damn uppity women folk just want to go to work and do their jobs and not touch your penis. How I miss the good old days
  6. Gotta hope for the best. We'll never be a perennial contender without getting plus play from the most important position in all of professional sports.
  7. Yeah I posted in the main Allen thread that I went through and watched a bunch of the full game cut-ups, and came away with an appreciation for his athletic ability and elusiveness running the ball, and also that he always seems to push the ball down the field. Eventually I just got used to watching him drop back and chuck it 30-35 yards down the middle of the field like it's no big deal. Obviously we're all looking to get mentally on board with our new quarterback and many of us are going to be looking for hope. But, I think we can find that hope in these videos. Imagine if we can have an offense that throws the ball between the hashes down the field sometimes...
  8. Yeah I'm not going to say that OMG that's the magic bullet that explains the scary 56% number - I'm sure the other guys push it down field as well and my study is certainly not scientific. Just my reaction to the recently posted stuff combined with a deep rooted desire to have an offense that throws 15 yard square ins.
  9. My biggest takeaways from watching full game film from Allen (including the Boise State film) are that he is way more elusive and a better runner than I thought, and boy does he push the ball down the field. Didn't see a ton of his touchdowns being screens that running backs take the distance. Watching 30 yard completions over the middle of the field looking commonplace. We haven't had that in...a long time.
  10. My speculation is that free agents next year (especially on the offensive side of the ball) will not necessarily automatically disqualify the Bills due to their perennially dysfunctional quarterback situation. I believe this will be the case whether or not Allen starts games this year, simply by virtue of him existing on the roster.
  11. Do so. I close my my eyes and think really hard about our raw rookie QB prospect, and an idea pops into my head: Throwing him to the wolves in year one would be a mistake. POOF!
  12. Acquire franchise quarterback. Build a dominant defense while you red shirt the qb. Go nuts in free agency on the offensive side of the ball next year now that players will want to come to a team without a glaring hole at qb. Super Bowl in 2020.
  13. Do ya’ll think that the Bills personnel folks asked Josh Allen to throw a football so they could see if he can hit where he is aiming? Maybe have him throw a ball through a tire swing or something? I’m hearing that this guy sprays around the ball wildly, and am wondering if this is news to our front office?
  14. First rule of getting famous: Never read your twitter comments.
  15. FYI Allen isn’t reading these threads and sobbing softly.
  16. I resume you also skewered the Eagles for mortgaging the house for strong-armed small conference Carson Wentz too, right?
  17. Problem is NFL quarterback is the one position in all sports where you can’t really afford to wait and take what is left behind. This is evidenced by the fact that all teams that didn’t hold the #1 overall pick that drafted a quarterback traded up to do so.
  18. Nope, it only depended on your definition of “all” being “some”.
  19. Agree. We were coming up for Allen, and that definitely lowered the price a TON.
  20. Oh ok I guess we are dealing with a poster with special needs vis a vis reading comprehension. I’ll try one more time but I’m not optimistic. 1. You said that there were NO MEASURES where Josh Allen was superior to Josh Rosen. 2. Yes, there are. Better? Edit: looks like we got this figured out. Resume your regularly scheduled echo chambering.
