  1. Man, I'd hate to be a player on this offense that hasn't played a game and is already getting dissed. Oh wait...That's Kevin Everett.
  2. Bad metaphors, man. Bad metaphors.
  3. I can only guess that most wallers have ADD. Astro
  4. Favre spent his first year getting cut by the Atlanta Falcons, spent the second year watching Chris Miller from the sidelines, and his first 5 passes were incomplete. "Favre, after playing a scant four games as a backup with the Falcons the year before and not attempting a single pass, was making just the third in a string of consecutive starts that now numbers 206. He made his first NFL start two weeks before against the Steelers, completing 14-of-19 attempts for 210 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions in a 17-3 win. The next week, he was more impressive statistically, completing 33-of-44 passes for 276 yards, a TD and a pick, but the Packers lost at Atlanta, 24-10." He was 2-3 in his first 5 starts. Steve Young started 5 games his first season and 14 his second (two horrible, horrible years with Tampa Bay). Young's interception rate was pretty bad, at 1 every 36 throws. Elway was even worse with 1 every 26 passes.
  5. A number of wallers had Fitzpatrick as a good QB draft pick in RD#5-6.
  6. 26 minute first quarter. That's rushing time of possession there. Wahle the player of the first qtr.
  7. or rigidity.
  8. Wonder where #1 QB Tommy Chang is serving burgers today.
  9. My props to Mario Williams. He was awesome in yesterday's game. That said, I'd like Ngata at DT, and think about a 3-4 with our personnel. I like RRich's idea of acquiring Backus. Reggie Bush, D'Brickashaw Ferguson, Vince Young, and Matt Leinart will probably be gone when we pick, or that's my assumption at this point. Go Bills!
  10. Snow phobia=Chionophobia Cures for Snow Phobia Take Years.
  11. Fair assessment. I agree. I'd add in the scenario about the O-Line improving (Preston in at C, MW working out at G, Peters excelling with more experience at T, FA acquisition of Hutchinson, McNally having time to groom a 5-some)
  12. Millen has the losingest record in the NFL in the 21st Century. Bills, by the way, are 5th losingest.
  13. Didn't take your Paxil again, eh Chalkie?
  14. PREDICTIONS: We won't have to worry about the winning streak with our schedule. TD is staying, TC is going, MM is staying, MW is staying if he restructures. We're picking up a DT in RD#1 or trading down. Most TSW's will complain or begin a regimen of Paxil. We will appear better next year with an easier schedule. JP will put in 20 hour days all spring learning under another offense. Moulds retires when the new OC is announced. The O-Line will coalesce and it makes WM better. Everett will be an answer at TE and make JPL better. Reed's history. We typically run a 3-wide with Evans, Parrish, and Aiken/Wilson with Everett a favorite dump-off. We draft yet another WR, but this time he has size a la Stovall (who we won't get b/c he'll be a frist rounder). The D will be better and uses more 3-4, with Schobel-Ngota-Kelsay across the front with Sam Adams used situationally. Crowell-TKO-Fletcher- and either Posey or Stamer go at LB. Rashad Baker plays into starter role at safety.
  15. Seems like we gave Mr. Mularkey enough time to implement RP. And Everett. Whenarewegonna see the draftees? Hah?
  16. Didn't Moorman have QB experience at some point?...
  17. Wow. Nice recall. I had recall. I remember having it. I think I remember having it. I think.
  18. NICELY= Newbie Imbecile Connecting Evans-- Long Year.
  19. My point was that Gandy IS one of our best 5 linemen, and if he is, we're still in need of linemen. I apologize for my obfuscation.
  20. "The NFL, like life, is full of idiots. " --Randy Cross "Tom Brady is the quarterback I'd like to have at the controls coming from behind at the end of the game...He's the winningest q.b. in the league" (said last year when Patriots were playing Roethlesberger's Steelers, when BigBen was leading the league in wins) --Randy Cross "Jay Fiedler to Ricky Williams"... (Ricky was enjoying his year off at the time) --Randy Cross But the all-time favorite: After a 56-yard catch by Bill receiver Kevin Williams near the end of the first half, Cross talked about how the Bills offense "believes in Flutie and how the Patriots defense fell asleep out there...You can almost see the Z's on the screen [during the replay]."
  21. Yes, Gandy's one of our Best 5 Linemen.
  22. I think Milloy and Vincent are shadows of their former selves. Watch the tape of this game, and see Milloy with several non-tackles.
  23. Great Choices. I thought about including Baker on my list. I thought the pressure the D-Line generated did allow for the superb linebacker play, as well as the INT's like Baker's.
  24. Post of the Year.
