Why not trade a Graham for a Graham?
snamsnoops replied to Coach Tuesday's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree. TJ is a gifted athlete with amazing speed. QB play has a lot to do with his production or lack of. This is his 3rd year and usually players r givin that amount of time to show what they have. If we see no improvement in his game this year we can cut ties after this season. I am not ready to give up on the kid. -
Why Not Kick The Tires with Josh Freeman?
snamsnoops replied to patfitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Really cant help to bring in a still young QB who had a pretty good start to his career. Whatever happened in TB is just that, hopefully it was left in TB. Mental issue r tough and can be treated. I don't see what it hurts bringing him in for more competition. If he doesn't fit you cut ties with him before the regular season. He could be had for cheap i would imagine seeing he has visited one team. The more competition the better. He has skillz, it's just a question if with the proper coaching and supporting cast, could he be a serviceable back up? There is also the possibility kneeJ goes down again. I do like EJ and hope he succeeds but no harm in checking him out! We know what we have in Tuel, Dixon, & Thad. -
Schefter: Bills tried acquiring Chris Johnson

FJ is far better all around RB. I shouldn't need to explain this. -
Randy Moss and Carson Palmer disagree!

I say we just take over Canada!

Now I LOVE Brandon Spikes. I'm not a man....
snamsnoops replied to Webster Guy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Kinda feel the same way. Hate to play against em but will luv watching em kill other teams for us! -
Anything is possible, but the Ralph I have grown to know over the last 35 years wouldn't do this. What it really comes down to is this man loved football n he LOVED BUFFALO. He could have done what u say years ago n enjoyed even more Rich's ( remember Ralph is cheap ) I have bagged on him for years, but a lot of FANS have and rightfully so some of the time. What it comes down to is what he has done for the league, small market teams and most of all WNY. I used to refuse to call Rich stadium "The Ralph" that changed today and it is said it took this to happen to be reminded of all the good the man did, and i think will continue to do......

Corey Graham to move to FS per Marrone
snamsnoops replied to Fingon's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Thanks I was speaking generally or all around on D. I have no problem with the move, and its no guarantee. At worst we have a pretty good CB. -

snamsnoops replied to Fingon's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So with a this noise on how it is becoming a passing league and D's have to adjust. Causing teams (Bills anyways) to find more versatile players at certain positions. Wouldnt this cause teams to just go back to power running! Seems to me we are gaining speed n losing size. -

Yup i had the same thought -
Which is kinda funny! To bad they don't play each other this season. I could see Sanchez as a back up and Vick being the starter. I know they say Geno is the starter but we will see. really doesnt matter cause Vick will get injured one way or the other.

Report: Bills express interest in Kenny Britt
snamsnoops replied to FluffHead's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I wouldnt mind Britt on a show me type contract,, something easy to get out of, just in case! He has talent and is still young. D Jackson is a nightmare. He is a small guy but extremely fast. He is also a pain in the asz, n his contract is terrible. No way he restructures to play for B-lo. -
Because he was the worst example of a QB. So whomever they r speaking of,, El Dirte Sanchez in this case, is not as bad as wobeT. Therefor they bring him up to show things could b a lot worse.

EJ played in 10 games and the D on those teams were a lot better than what we saw last year! Just say no!

If Aaron Donald is there at 9...
snamsnoops replied to UCLA Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Think we already have players like him. I don't think think picking this kid at 9 overall is worth it. Too much talent in this draft. I see this kid sliding to the 2nd and maybe even 3rd round. This is not a position of need and we seem to have good depth. LB, WR, TE, or T for me with our first. -
Who will be this years surprise cut ?
snamsnoops replied to Buffaloed in Pa's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Even though we just signed Carpenter, I think Hopkins out shines him and having a stronger leg makes him our K! Maybe we could trade him? I like Dan but his kickoffs are weak and carrying 2 K's isnt good! -
Here's your veteran backup QB <edit>Fitzgibbons released
snamsnoops replied to Rubes's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I would take Fitz back! He would be a good back up, and he likes the area. Not to sure what he thinks of the organization though! -
I though everyone was told Cordy was a G in the NFL when he was drafted. When will the bills get this correct!
-
Pretty sure the brothers had something to do with that trade. It was a 6th round pic for Boldin. I really dont think Boldin would play for B-lo this late in his career. Buffalo probably wishes they could have made that move, but it takes two to tango!

WOW! I guess NO can afford Byrd. Does anyone know the terms of the contract. I hear 6 years n thats it? At least he didnt go to a AFCE team! -
I'm mad as hell & I'm not gonna take it any more!
snamsnoops replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Polian was the GM before FA. So it was a little different also was there a salary cap? Most rookie QB's are unproven. Whaley seems to be doing a pretty good job. Solid draft last year plus pretty good FA signings last year "Branch, Lawson, trade\Hughes. Kiko is a beast. Colin Brown was a disaster. Chandler was middle of the pac for TE last year stat wise. He lead our team in receiving and had no offseason last year. He wasnt spectacular but was pretty good seeing the injury suffered the year before. I have to say i dont agree with much you have said. everyone is entitled to their own opinions i guess! Byrd isnt gone yet. I cant see paying someone more than they r worth. The NFL seems to agree. He has gone to NO, thats it. I dont think they can sign him but stranger things have happened. With Brees outrageous cap #'s this season, whats going on with Graham and the cuts of pretty good players doesn't add up. They have like 2 mil under the cap. -

snamsnoops replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't understand this. NO just cut a bunch of good players to get under the cap. They have like 2 mil and they want to go and sign the highest priced D FA on the market? Anything is possible but the numbers dont make sense. I am sure Byrd would luv to play for NO but at what cost? -
