Christ, I guess it's the bash Buddy thread, complete with hand wringing, vitriole and insult spitting. He whiffed on a QB. Yep he did. But he built some good trenches, got a star RB and at least half a good backfield. The payroll is in great shape with plenty of room. He locked in Stevie. We are in a better place to take the next step thanks to the Buddy. It's time to move on from Buddy and it seems we are. I just don't get the dripping bile and Buddy hate I'm reading.

I agree 100%. Sign our own FA's is job 1. You can bet LB's are next in the FA line-up, but for what scheme? Hybrid or whatever-- Pettine is a fundamentally a 3-4 guy.

That's my concern as well. Fitz has many of the makings of a good QB but his accuracy is just awful -- even when not under pressure. Haven't seen enough of Nassib to know.

+1. And sorry Jim in Ank.....Brady was part of a cheating system in those SB's that gave him an unfair advantage. He's a great QB in a great system but he cheated. I won't forgot.

The cherry on the parfait would be Brady in Buffalo and Giselle in a brown banlon pantsuit leading a revised version of "Talkin' Proud."

Whatever happens with the Bears, Cleveland, Jax and others, I feel great that the Bills for once are leading the pack. We had our pick of coordinators while other teams play catch up. Pettine would have been a hot commodity but we snapped him up. Kudos to RB for moving quickly and decisively to remake this team.

You are quite right. But my point stands. RB is from Cuse and a big Orange backer. This still smacks of marketing and not the best football decision. Marrone was Curtis Modkins in NO under Payton. His Cuse work has been good, but it was in a pathetic conference. I dunno...I'm dissapointed. It may work ... guess I will focus on being happy today for having a NHL season and get some distance from the Bills for a bit.
