Bills Defense Vs The Saints Offense
PaattMaann replied to Bryce Paup's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I hope your spot on with this....but it does rely on our guys being able to break down and tackle Sproles after he catches is in the flats, which frankly, scares me haha -

im not worried about Sproles in the run game, and they wont give him 20 touches regardless - but he can catch 10 passes and turn those into 200 yards and 2 TDs - THATS what worries me about him pass rush does nothing to negate Sproles, in fact, in encourages dumping it to sproles - I dont see too many people on our defense (or really, in the league) that can tackle him in the open field -

jimmy graham is to be worried about sure - but more importantly, I think, is the ability to stop Sproles (especially on third down) jam all WR/TE and game plan to stop Sproles...I just dont know how we would even go about doing that -
we will get the dolphins, pats and jets twice a year, every year, and you can take that to the bank

this times a million WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO THE FIRST DOWN SLANT THAT PICKS UP 5-7 YARDS???? -
I didnt say the original quote that you are referring to - but ill answer - it matters because the bills have a culture/mentality of losing...losing breeds losing just as much as winning breeds winning the Bills are 2-4 for a reason - good teams win the games we have lost

I mean, ive been a SAMCRO fan for years now, but im just over it - every episode is like a grand theft auto mission - problem arises, go beat someones ass, get business out of it....ill finish watching it until the end as a fan....but I just wish it went different places (very good acting for the most part though, and some of the plot is top notch)

Lawson and Searcy keys to victory tonight
PaattMaann replied to D521646's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Jack.Them.Up.At.The.Line.Of.Scrimmage. I believe that is the key to beating the browns - leave the safeties over the top to help if a WR/TE get off the line freely - I hope to (and think) we will see an uber-aggressive game plan from our D tonight -

and life with a terrible defensive coordinator and life on a terrible defense that cannot even pretend to stop the run so they have to throw 8 bodies at it, leaving the corner on an island all game long to get toasted and life on a defense that cant pressure the QB so the DB has to stay with his man for 10 seconds, and against a QB who can always set his feet due to lack of pressure and put the ball on the money this year, the defense is stopping the run with about 5 guys on average, leaving safeties to help over the top, and LBs and other DBs underneath, and the defense is pressuring QBs into poorly thrown balls that allow the DB time to recover and/or look back for the ball and get a hand on it (see: williams end zone play last week) -

yes, but your gonna be pissed when you cant finish the show b/c newest Eps arent on netflix there are other great series to make the 7 dollars even more worth it: Lilyhammer, West Wing (if you never got on the train), House of Cards, Arrested Development, Trailer Park Boys (just to name a few) I do the streaming only Netflix for 7.99 a month and id say I usually get my monies worth (however, there are months like this one where I have not turned netflix on once....)

Mario Williams...Fact or Fiction...
PaattMaann replied to dezertbill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Even when Mario has not been getting sacks, he has been getting pressure and push at the point of attack in the run game - I think Mario has done well...his sacks will come, and when they do, he can dominate a game (carolina) -

its not as easy as "bring pressure and Hoyer will suck" - Cleveland has a good o-line and mcgahee is a terrific blocking back - we need the dline to win their 1 on 1s in order to get to Hoyer...keep kiko roving the middle, and jam cameron at the line.....hopefully mckelvin plays we need to be able to run the ball tonight, and in order to do that, we need to get clevelands from 7 out of the box on every 1st and 2nd down (throw early!!!!!!!) - and use their aggressiveness against them, could we finally see the return of our screen game? god I hope so.... -
Jordan Cameron is an All-Pro!
PaattMaann replied to Dragonborn10's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
agree with OP - Lawson jamming him at the line hard, and then running with him - with a safety over the top on that side of the field in case he beats him out right like Tyson said "everyones got a plan until they get punched in the mouth" - hope this is the plan and that we stick with it - Manny needs to have a big night -
Is Aaron Williams injured?
PaattMaann replied to Braedenstearns's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
well Rogers wont "sit" - he will play about half the game in various packages - we use all of our corners, every game...Rogers will play, Robey will play... -
Is Aaron Williams injured?
PaattMaann replied to Braedenstearns's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
minus Byrd of course : ) its actually been kind of fun to watch this defense (finally) this year - minus the whole getting off the field on third down issues that still seem to plague us - but ill chalk that up to us being depleted through injuries for the most part and it being early on in the season
