Why, specifically?

We need Ontario to embrace the Bills, at least for the short term, for regionalization to work. They need to feel the Bills are there's in some way to get those corporations involved. It's not impossible at all. It just takes time. TO will be hard pressed to get it's own team with that stadium and the CFL there. A game or two might be there only NFL shot.

Because it's HIS business. He built it. Whether you like the job he does or not his product obviously means something to you since you're on this board talking about it. He won't own the team soon enough. And that doesn't mean they are moving. How is that wrong? How 'bout we have heard all of this before? So talk about something new, not speculation. Wilson has NEVER been quoted saying he will sell the team to the highest bidder that I have seen. I have seen articles where the reporter surmised that and tagged it to Wilson. And then it becomes the normal line in the doomsday forecasts in future articles on the subject. Informed speculation? Unless Mr. Wilson tells us no one knows what his plans are. Not knowing the plan does not mean there is no plan. Tea leaves can be read that would keep the team in WNY too. But that doesn't create a sensational headline though does it? It isn't one guy. One guy says or writes something then others jump on that and act like they are breaking news. The media has changed a lot over the past ten years. Print and television. There is no denying that. Doesn't mean ALL reporters are the same, but there are many, who are just as much entertainers as they are "journalists" now days. No reason to be sensitive about it. Fans have changed through the years too and not always for the better. It is what it is. This reaction though should come as no surprise. Buffalo fans are a rough and tumble, emotional and passionate bunch; if the Bills did wind up leaving things will get ugly and hopefully not violently ugly for the new owner and various league officials. But I wouldn't be surprised if security is needed. Bills won't just be hi-jacked out of town and folks roll over and let it go. Modell still can't go back to Cleveland. And there are Bills fans everywhere. And no less passionate than the ones living in B-Lo. A LOT of us in Sourthern Cali. with Buffalo roots and otherwise. That being said I doubt the Bills go anywhere.

Yeah Wawrow, the media stirs the pot. Maybe you don't. But Mike Florio was stirring the pot. "Bloggers" were stirring the pot. Sullivan was stirring the pot. They don't have any idea what's going on and yet they go to the most somber, doomsday scenario possible. Why? Because it causes hits on their websites, gets nervous fans creating talk and that's good for ad money. Bills could leave. But reading the tea leaves I would say it's more likely they stay. And I do believe Mr. Wilson has a plan. Even if the Bills went to the highest bidder (which I don't believe will be the case), why does everyone assume there is nobody, who would keep the team in WNY, who can win the bid?

If it were as big it wouldn't look as good. On a white backdrop it would stand out TOO much. On blue logo on a red back drop needs to be bigger to be visible. On a white backdrop it will stand out automatically.

Buffal West is right. I'm in L.A. Charger fans that I know are nervous. They want them in Diego even though they live in L.A. And NOBODY mentions the Bills out here. The talk is the Chargers, Vikings, Raiders, Rams for the most part. Sometimes Jacksonville is thrown in. Nobody out here talks about the Bills moving and IN FACT, about six months ago, Sam Farmer, LA Times NFL reporter talked about teams he thought would move. He mentioned Chargers, Raiders as most likely. He thought Viking would wind up getting a stadium and the Bills would be too hard to move based on their history and NY State having influential politicians that would raise hell and make it too ugly. He won't talk about it, but I believe Mr. Wilson definitely has a plan. No question in mind. He's a business man. He could have moved the team years ago if that were his plan. He knows his legacy is tied up in the Bills. The league knows how many Hall of Famers the Bills have. The league knows how big a region the Southern Ontario/WNY market is. Bills regionalizing was a good plan and one the league supports for a reason. Folks worry if you will, but really there is a very good chance the Bills stay right where they are. These media dudes throw bombs to get you all talking. And it works every time. Stop feeding into it.

Not a growth market right now. Doesn't mean it will stay that way. Times change and circumstance changes with it. Buffalo as a traditional manufacturing hub is done because most companies have shipped those jobs overseas. But there are medical/scientific industries (which it seems B-Lo is starting to tap, clean energy industries, etc.) B-Lo just needs to readjust "its" mindset and make a plan to re-energize the city/region.

A new stadium or a vastly refurbished Rich Stadium will be needed sooner than later, true enough. But Niagra Falls? Its only 16 miles from B-Lo. It's not like that's adding that much more value to someone coming from further up in Ontario. Ticket prices will have to go up to an average NFL level too. No more discounts. But I believe most folks will pay. Especially IF the Bills put a good product on the field. I'm not concerned that they will move. Because we haven't heard about a plan doesn't mean there isn't one. Mr. Wilson could have moved the team many times and did not. His legacy is in WNY. The Bills have a rich tradition. There are money people, who can afford to buy them, who are starting to make comments about buying and keeping the Bills in WNY. Yes, Mr. Wilson passing would indicate a heightened level of interest from the L.A. group. Doesn't mean they will get the team. I'm interested in Halle Berry. So far she has yet to come pay me a visit. The best thing for Bills fans to do is stop worrying about every article that comes out. There's nothing we can do about it anyway. But if you read the tea leaves you would see there is a very good possibility they stay put going forward.

Be careful what you wish for. If the Bills logo were too big it would look terrible on the white helmet. Go find footage of 1983, the last year they wore white helmets. The Logo was way too big. It almost took up the entire side of the helmet and it looked crazy. That big logo worked on the red helmets because of the darker backdrop. No need for a logo that size on a white helmet because the logo will stand out based on the contrast. Also, on this replica, the logo isn't that small. The stripes in the middle of the helmet are thinner. Makes the logo look smaller than it is because there is more "helmet" area left uncovered.

LoL. Well, they should have said it rarely rains in southern california. We got some torrential rains for a good bit in the spring. But now it's as dry as normal.

Maybe some young kid playing football tweeted him asking for advice. Maybe it's in reference to something else altogether. Very good possibility it has nothing whatsoever to do with anyone associated with the Bills. Like you say, pointless to guess. Who says he's not coachable? If he wasn't he would already be gone. Or more likely would never have made it to the league in the first place. He just hasn't gotten results. Doesn't mean he isn't working hard or isn't listening. It might turn out the dude just isn't a good enough player. No reason other than that. But we shall see soon enough. He's down to his last stand for sure.

Preseason or not those runs had to do with elusiveness and explosiveness. That can't be taught. The coach will use him more this season. Spiller will be fine. And he also had some nice runs during the season. He has to learn how to run effectively on a consistent basis.

Yes. I have said the same thing for years. It's not just about the football stadium, but a TOTAL revitalization project that includes all of the types of businesses you mention. It only makes sense for this to happen. That's why it hasn't yet. Too much incompetent leadership in political realms or worse, corrupt leadership. I think it should be downtown.

Based on what? He got drafted out of the blue for no reason, huh? No skills. No talent. He was just a guy so some NFL team was going to draft him between the 2nd to 4th round range of the draft. The fact he was given a draftable grade by NFL scouts in the 2nd to 4th round range tells you his college body of work and size made scouts believe he had a chance to hack it in the pros.

From BLo. Moved away as a kid. Never stopped being a Bills fan. Was at the home opener last fall with my Pop and several cousins. The Bills are like family. I have no second team.

8-8 without a second thought. Time to win more than they lose. Period. Losing is no remedy for a true competitor.

No he's not. If you watched a lot of San Diego games you would not say that. Besides that he missed a great deal of time with injuries.

True. But all the Bills need to do is win and it all goes the other way quickly. It's up to the Bills how they get perceived and discussed. People tend to pay more attention to teams that win.

As far as UDFA's: Mark Herzlich, Kenric Burney CB, from North Carolina, Deunta Williams S, from North Carolina. As far as NFL FA's: Kevin Boss, Tyson Clabo, Logan Mankins, Tyler Thigpen/Travaris Jackson. Resign: Poz, Whitner and Florence. Build the team. Not continually replace people. Nix has said this is what the good teams do. And so far he does what he says he will do. Besides Poz and Whitner are still 25 years old. Young, solid players. Florence is older, but still contributes and would be good for a young secondary.

That's not true. You might want to stay at your job because you love your colleagues and respect your bosses. But if a company down the street pays you significantly more you would probably be inclined to take that offer. Even if, in your heart, you would have rather stayed where you were.
