  1. simply from a playground perspective, I'd take Fairley & Carimi. but thats not factoring in rules (or lack of) or the future of my playground team. oh- forgot to ask, where would this playground be? cause Fairley don't like snow.
  2. Nothin negative on Gabbert? The comparisons are killin me... Gabbert = Edwards Miller = Maybin JJ Watt = Kelsay I understand all the busts and disappointments have jaded everyone, but jesh, should we be paralyzed and not draft any positions we've ever had busts w/ ?
  3. Altho not my first pick, I'd have to say Peterson would be an impact player as well. JJ Watt maybe too, in addition to above-mentioned D-linemen. Assuming Dareus is off the board, Im hoping for Cam Jordan, w/ a trade-down if possible. Get the QB in the 2nd, impact player in 1st
  4. What about Josh Thomas? What rnd he expected to go in? be cool if Bills drafted him!
  5. just the weather he was talkn about. He's from TX and played in FL, so still getting used to it.
  6. another good article http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news;_ylt=AqqCerNxv4fCVBa2QuLDJmhDubYF?slug=ms-silver_de_jordan_drawing_increased_attention_041311
  7. If I had to put money down on a Bills draft exacta, that might be my pick.
  8. cool thing about Josh Thomas's (UB CB) visit, it should be a freebie for the Bills. Visits from universities w/in the metro area of vist don't count against the visit limit.
  9. I heard Ralph is in a middle-age crisis...
  10. I'd guess Dareus would be ready as well tho. he's played DE in a 3-4, but assume he'll be headed to denver. I'd take dareus over Jordan. and that's a good pt to factor in this yr- readiness.
  11. Who'll be 35? Freddie wont be 35 next yr We don't have too many CBs. Florence is FA now, think Youboty is now as well, and Corner will be next yr. If he's decent, he can have Youboty's spot now. I say draft a CB in 4th rnd, and another later. Mario Harvey from Marshall? fine if late rnd
  12. just for kicks, here's vid of Blaine Sumner w/ his 905 lb. Squat: a beast, but reports sayn he's not so great on field. Pick him up as UDFA or w/ our last 7th rnd pick. if he ever did get ahold of brady, he'd throw him out of Gillette! wait- that means a chance of having 2 Blaines on the Bills ??
  13. you might be right, and I wouldnt lose 1 min of sleep over him at #3 either. just seems a BIT of a reach.
  14. he should be our #1 target if we trade down around 10th or less. He's already got 3-4 DE experience. would be great pickup, but little bit of a reach at #3 Possible NTs? Stephen Paea, Oregon St. (maybe only 1-gapper ?) Marvin Austin, North Carolina Blaine Sumner, Co School of Mines Sumner: The girthy nose tackle pumped out 52-reps on the bench at the Air Force pro day, breaking the all time Combine record of 49 which was just recently set by Oregon State's Stephen Paea. http://www.nationalfootballpost.com/52reps-on-the-bench-OH-MY.html
  15. We have the Caulcrick! Release the Caulcrick!
  16. rnd 2 is perfect for QB (if not takn in 1st), OT, or finish off front 7. If they draft RB at all, it should be very late.
  17. It seems like there are a decent amount of good CBs in this draft, I say get 1 or 2 in rnds 4-5ish, and hope we can re-sign Florence. play the rook(s) at nickel/dimebk spots and let them develop.
  18. you guys are forgetting Ponder. He's the one they'll take (in the 2nd), IF he makes it out of first round. Stanzi also might be a guy to draft in 3rd, along w/ Kaep.
  19. GMs have been warned not to do this. The setup would come to light once it was executed.
  20. good chance of that happening, but in the 2nd
  21. I also think Edwards will be given awile, due to poor talent, etc. but also scheme- seems like Bills really intend to run hybrid D, and Edwards is the 3-4 guy, while DW is the 4-3 guy
