I'm convinced that our offensive struggles were due to poor coaching & schemes. EJ, CJ, Wood & crew are very talented, so I'm looking forward to what this coaching staff can get out of them. That said, I really hope we land Sean Mannion in this years draft.
The fact that every QB regressed as they played for the Bills supports the poor coaching on offense theory. I still say we would have won at least 9 games had we stuck it out with EJ. Glad Marrone is gone.
Roman and our new coaching staff will be able to utilize CJs talents more than Gailey. CJ can be in the running for OPY with this team. I hope we can keep him.
I agree - Trent was never any good. Nice kid with a beautiful delivery but that's about it.
Every QB regressed under last years coaching. I can't wait to see what EJ & Tuel can do this year.
McCown would be a big improvement over Orton. I was saying back in December that we should go after McCown (dude has played on some of the worst offenses in the league) or Hoyer.
I also still feel that we would have finished the year with the same record if we would have started EJ all year. Orton was absolutely terrible in the last few games.
I'm still holding out hope for Williams now that he's healthy but I would still snag Iupati if we can for 6.5 - 6.8 & still sign our own (Hughes, Wynn, Searcy, CJ, MD, etc..)
I'm not a fan of Sanchez but would love to bring Hoyer into camp. I think Mannion will go in the 3rd.
Signing Lupati would be HUGE!!! I also hope we can keep Hughes, Easley, CJ & Wynn.
