  1. " I could say the Tom Brady owns the Bills, but the fact is, Ralph Wilson does."
  2. Unfortunately i have to go to a banquet tomorrow and won't be able to catch some of the game. Does anyone know a way to watch or even listen to the game on a blackberry? Any help is greatly appreciated, i wanna catch all the action tomorrow, i just have a feeling.....! Go Bills!
  3. Donnie Avery?
  4. So far this year, Brady and the pats offense look unstoppable. They picked apart two respectable defenses already, and theyre coming to OUR house, for probably the biggest game this team has had in years. Truth is, i don't think we will stop Brady. I don't think any defense can truly STOP this offense. However, i do think we can win this game. How though? That remains the question. Well, quite frankly, i am not high on this Pats defense, and i think we can put up points on them. We need to RUN the ball, early and often. Our run game has been unstoppable so far, and we'll need more of the same on Sunday.Sustain long drives, don't let Brady hit the field.I have every bit of confidence in our offense that we will be able to put up points. The biggest factor of the game however will be turnovers. We cannot afford to turn the ball over. An offense as good at the Patriots will take advantage of those all day. If our D can force a turnover or two, and we protect and pound the football all day, i think we have a fair shot at ending this streak, and winning the biggest game of the last 6 years. I Billieve! GO Bills!
  5. Tomorrow's preaseason game will be blacked out, as you may know, so most of us will be required to watch a live online stream of the game. If you know of any good streaming websites that will have the game feel free to post it here. p2p4u.net is usually a good site, the quality isn't the best, but they always have all the games.
  6. No, because this is Fitz's team, plain and simple.
  7. Great post. Exactly what my thoughts are; sure we looked bad last night, but its the second game of the preseason for crying out loud! I'm confident our boys will get it together and have a good season. GO BILLS!
  8. So we have one bad preseason game, and all of a sudden Fitz is gonna get traded, we're going to be the worst team in the NFL this year, Spillers a bust, Mckelvins a bust, our WR's suck, our secondary sucks etc..... I understand Bills fans that we played a horrible game yesterday, i was watching the same thing as all of you. But cmon! Its one silly preseason game. This is the most talented team we've had in a while, and although they didn't show it yesterday, i believe we will have a good year. Also, i think we played well on both sides of the ball last week vs Chicago, so its not like we've totally stunk it up through the entire preseason. One of the reasons we have preseason games are for teams to fix whatever problems they may have, being on offense or defense. I trust in our coaching staff to get everything cleared up, and i expect Buffalo to have a good game next week at home. There is absolutely no reason to start thinking the season is over already.
  9. Honestly, truth is, Evans was the 3RD best receiver on this team last year, behind Stevie and Roscoe. If Roscoe didn't get hurt, his numbers would've doubled Evans at least. This trade opens the door to some of our young, talented receivers.
  10. Fitzy and the offense look good tomorrow, without Lee Evans. All the front office haters will be silenced when the offense proves that Lee wasn't as big of a part on this offense as we thought, and they can move the ball without him.
  11. I know a lot of people aren't happy about this, but may i point out that Lee Evans is NOT a superstar wideout, he is getting old,and has not shown much these past two seasons, and we have other good wideouts like Roscoe and Nelson. Not to mention Brad Smith who i think could be a legitamite slot receiver, as well as Easley, Jones and Roosevelt. Sure, he comes up with the 40+ yard reception every once in a while, but how many times did he make a big play when we needed it most? How many pro bowls has he been to? I think people are overreacting over this trade. I don't think our offense will regress over this move at all.
  12. Was Chris Browns statement simply an opinion, because it means nothing in that case.
  13. I see where you're coming from, but to get respect my friend, you have to win, something we haven't done in 11 years. You'll see how this will quickly change the moment we are competitive again.
  14. This just proves how EVERY pick matters. There is plenty of talent in every draft, you just have to find it.
  15. This means absolutely nothing right now,but here are my draft grades for each pick in this year's draft. Feel free to post your own grades, and add any comments! Round 1: Marcell Dareus: A: Exactly what we needed, a big run stuffing defender that will get pressure on the QB as well. Helps both in the passing and running game. Best pick we could've possibly made. Round 2: Aaron Williams: B+: I am so-so with this pick. I really thought they would go with another front 7 player, maybe Akeem Ayers or Brooks Reed, two guys who could provide a pass rush off the edge. Was also thinking Kyle Rudolph with this selection, as we could've finally gotten a competent tight end who could run-block and catch. Aaron Williams wasn't really on my radar with this selection. However, i am happy we didn't go for a QB just for the sake of nabbing one, such as Kaepernick or Dalton. This pick will help us defensively, and will provide an asset to our overrated secondary. Although i do think another front-7 player might of been a better selection here,or maybe Rudolph, but on the other hand, we got good value for Aaron Williams, and if he pans out, our Defense could be a whole lot better overall. Round 3: Kelvin Sheppard: B+/A-: I like this pick, but it can be debatable whether we should've gone with Martez Wilson,as he was on the board and was projected to be a 2nd rounder. I like the fact that Sheppard is a leader, and was the leading tackler on a stout LSU defense. This kid could really help us in the LB position, our weakest position on defense. Our run defense could see an improvement, maybe not immediately, but definitely in the near future. We went to a position of need, and again, didn't go for a gadget type player. Stuck to defense, and got ourselves a solid player. Happy with this pick. Round 4: Da'Norris Searcy: C+: I like the fact that we continued to build up our porous defense, however, im not sure that he was the best option. I was really hoping we would've taken Casey Matthews, and added to our front-7. Nevertheless, these mid-late round selection are tough to grade right away. We just have to wait and see how this kid turn out. I wanted a LB or OT with this pick, but im not to upset with Searcy. Round 4: Chris Hairston: B: The kid has great size, but is somewhat raw. If we can coach him up,he has all the physical tools to become a good player, and who knows, he could even start this year at RT. It's interesting that he blocked for Spiller during his years in Clemson. We'll see what comes of that. Like this pick, Buddy was trying to fill a big hole on this offense. Round 5: Johnny White: B : Tod Mccshay called him the most underrated player in the draft. This is far from a position of need, however, this kid could be a hidden gem. I watched some film, and his running style reminds me of Marshawn Lynch, with that power, however, he seems to be faster, and hits his holes quite well. He was injured for most of this year, which is why he slipped to the 5th. But people should watch out for this kid, i think he could be a baller. This running-back system has potential to be a VERY good one. Really like this pick, although it wasn't a need pick. Round 6: Chris White: B-: Like that we're trying to improve the LB core, whatever way we can. The kid is not flashy, but he gets the job done. He'll have to be coached up well to become a major factor on this team. Not a bad pick Round 7: Justin Rogers: C+: CB with lots of speed, but raw. Will need to step up big in training camp to make this squad, already crowded with DB's. Round 7: Michael Jasper: A-: Like this pick just because of the guys size. Does it mean anything just yet? Probably not. However, if what i've read about him is true, he can also move well for his size. He was 430 last year, but has dropped to 380 or something near that range. This kid will be very interesting to watch throughout training camp, and if he works out, he will be one tough object to move. He has potential to clog up lots of room in the running game, which is why i love this pick
  16. http://fanrankings.nfl.com/results Experts have us at 28, fans at 31. It does get annoying when you truly know your team will be better than that, especially since we probably got at least 2 or 3 legitimate impact players from our draft. I'd put us somewhere between 24-20, not playoffs yet, but getting there.
  17. I can't seem to find any tape on him at all from Alabama. If anyone knows of some good tape of him, would you mind sharing it here? I've been looking forever, way before we even took him. Thx...Go Bills!
  18. Look back before the draft, and what were the holes on defense? We needed an ILB, OLB, DE,S,CB. The only position that we haven't filled is OLB, but Nix signed Merriman for that reason. This defense is going to be A LOT better next year. I love the additions of Dareus and Sheppard. These guys will improve our run D immensely. I don't think Whitner and Florence are getting signed, so it is tough to tell now if Williams and Searcy will be an upgrade. I believe Aaron Williams has a chance to be a good cornerback, while Searcy, as i read is a good run stopper. Also, we won't have to pay him the ridiculous money Whitner ( OVERATED!) wants. With a few additions in Free agency (pending the status of the lockout), our defense could be solid. Good draft by Nix and Co, and im glad to see them fill holes on the biggest weakness of our team. Thoughts? GO BILLS!
  19. Just said on NFL network the pick might be Peterson. NGU i know people have been bombarding you about the draft, but is there any truth to this? Is Peterson a possibility?
  20. One of the best posts i've seen here in a while. Well said!
  21. We will not make the playoffs until we find our franchise QB. Its that simple. How many teams in the playoffs this year didnt have their franchise QB? Exactly, NONE! Sure, i would love to have Miller, or Dareus, Peterson, etc...., but they will NOT get us into the playoffs, and more importantly, win the championship. So we draft Miller, and next year we'll have 7 wins instead of 4, and w/o that QB, we will be stuck in mediocrity like the past 11 years! We must take a shot. It's either Gabbert or Newton, that simple. I much rather prefer Newton, but he will most likely be gone to Carolina. If you want to build the defense, do it from rounds 2-7. The number 3 pick should be focused on getting the franchise QB we've been waiting for such a long time. Fitz is not a franchise QB, and for those who say he is, you are kidding yourself. Sure, i love his toughness, and competitiveness, but he will not get us where we want to be. Draft Gabbert or Newton, and build from there. We must take a shot this year. You Build defense all you want, you can have the best WR's in the league, the best RB, but w/o that franchise guy under centre, we will not hoist the super bowl. This pick is our chance, will we grasp it, or let it slip? April 28 boys, mark it up!
  22. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mNelLuejhw0 What you think?
  23. This would be a great pick IMO, not a head scratcher.
