  1. if chan thinks he can do something with him then so be it... but i'd like to see brohm
  2. yes it would be foolish... what does tebow have to bring to the wildcat that freddy cant do? he has thrown the ball, and with him and lynch in the backfield theres plenty of running presence... plus tebow doesnt have the speed to run in NFL very well, not to mention the oft-mentioned mechanics. so basically, no to tebow
  3. what if they used the steel plant grounds or knocked down some/all of the abandoned warehouses/factories/houses in the city? sure on some of the lands they'd have to have some significant plumbing to make it code, but it would be sweet
  4. I do NOT want to see a dome in buffalo. and I still dont see the problems with the ralph... sure its getting a tad old, but its no worse really than other stadiums. I mean, compared to old yankee stadium or fenway (i know its a different sport, oh well) the ralph is high class. It kinda has the blue collar feel to it... and what would we do with the massive expanse of paved lands in OP if it got moved? how many businesses in OP are 95% reliant on the bills' patrons for their business? I think just some new paint and a few shiny things and lights, and suddenly it would seem like the best stadium in the world.
  5. I actually took bass lessons from Dave Constantino... Think he may be up there in the classic rock/blues category http://www.daveconstantino.com/
  6. as much as i like the guy and want to see him do well, as i believe we saw with the 5-1 start a few back until his head got rattled, i dont think here is the place. no respect from the team or the fans... let him go to the UFL for a year to settle himself, and see where he winds up... as far as the current roster... bring on brohm!
  7. well the one game i attended was very pitiful, but TO did score on an end around in the first so the stadium was pretty pumped... until about 5 mins later
  8. bingo... the only reason he is even being mentioned is because chan built an offence around him that played to his strengths... i mean, the guy was supposed to be a 3rd string at the CHIEFS, and wound up starting, then got traded after finishing... oh yes... 2-14... i think we have better on our roster. I think gailey could do better with edwards or lossman with the talent we have here than he did with the nothingness of talent in KC... and I have hope for brohm, but if our staff feels the need to bring in someone in FA, so be it
  9. as far as i'm concerned, you know theres a risk, but you do it anyway. I race my car, and it doesnt have a rollcage and it flips over and i get hurt, oh well. I was racing and thats the risk i take. it happens every day, just some people get paid millions of dollars for it. banning hits would be like UFC or boxing making all competitors wear full body armor and they could only stare eachother down and taunt eachother... they know the players know they're probably gonna get hurt at some point in time, it just happens. but they're getting paid, so they're gonna play
  10. its very simple... this is buffalo... we're going to the superbowl next year!
  11. what game were you watching? he looked better than both edwards and fitz had all year save for maybe the first game of the year, after a week to learn almost everything. as much as i did like edwards and think that he probably could turn his game around, i just dont see that working much anymore unless he truly can put his heart into it and earn it in camp. Fitz is definitely NOT a starter, but as a backup he is a good guy to have on the team. and the "franchise qb" that everyone is looking for will be a project. it is very rare that a team lets their #1 go to FA, and even less likely that we pick them up with anything left in their tank.
  12. didnt brohm run the spread offence in college? if so he should be set for it and used to it, with a bit of the GB QB coaching still stuck in his brain
  13. I really hope that with the current personnel (and even in the future) we run a hybrid... each formation has its strengths and weaknesses... so being able to switch between the 2 is the only way i can see being really successful, especially trying to run tampa 2 players in a 3-4 situation... get a few bigger guys and run a hybrid
  14. this is all true other than the D problems... most of out injuries were with the o-line (which for those watching that disaster in toronto was one of the best coached o-lines in the league according to the commentators) and once they got injured, then their replacements got injured, and so on. as far as the D... our LBs really werent too banged up this season were they? i mean once Poz started using the arm brace... ah well... either way, something (lots of things) need to change
  15. wait... so if you lose a few games you suck? wow... i never knew that... it makes so much sense now! all pro teams other than the 72 dolphins totally suck! and all but 3 teams in NCAA football suck too! thank you for enlightening me!
  16. what about being benched for injury and not winning since (aka the last 2 season starters)
  17. what would be the consequences of sneaking into the stadium before the home opener and spray painting the endzones?
  18. flutie sure... but leave OJ up there... he rushed for 2000 yards and was an amazing player in the 70s... the killing had nothing to do with the bills... so if not for the celebrity/murderer part of being the juice, the juice should stay on talent and records
  19. well i was attempting to make a photoshop of a zubaz field... but its beyond the scope of MS paint
  20. as long as i get a little credit for the idea...
  21. i think we should install a colored field in the ralph... something either red or black... or zubaz style
  22. if the NFL wants to expand out of country like they seem to, and dont want to make an NFLW (world) league... then they'd have start some expansion teams... they'd lose too much money if they moved teams out of the country... and as long as they make 2-4 more teams, it should balance out over the nfc/afc
  23. im actually of the thought that they would both be on the same team... so maybe vick could teach tebow how to actually play nfl ball, and tebow could teach vick how to be a good person. plus they both have almost the exact same skill sets. that being said, i'd rather see that somewhere other than buffalo
  24. not a bad idea... maybe take the worst starters and have it in buffalo or GB in feb. or a college game with the 2 worst teams in the country in RWS on New years day... call it the toilet bowl
