  1. well i cant wait for 2 weeks from now when the season's over and all this negativity about everyone in the organization is gone and everyone cant wait until next year with new everything when we're going to the superbowl!
  2. I think, compared with the pitiful performances we've seen at QB this year, today looked pretty good. He was very quick to get the ball out when he needed to be, having a few passes gone from his hands before evans was even moving and they connected. i'd give him a 6 or 7 due to the fact that while he did make some mistakes, did we really expect him to be perfect? he is a first time starter, with limited first team reps and very little knowledge of the offence. i admit that i was wrong about not wanting him to start this year. I do now think that he is something to try to work from this coming year, and if we draft a QB first round it will be one of the more stupid drafts we have had
  3. so we have an unproven qb and the worst line in the league, and you string the coach up for not trusting his offence? really?
  4. yes... brohm mad an attempt at owens in the endzone, came up a little short and inside, and TO-no let it get picked unopposed
  5. no, but he's looking better than the other qb's that have been on our field in the past 10 years
  6. as much as i know i shouldn't be saying anything about this, brohm is looking like a good qb... one helluva arm on that kid! its not every day that someone can overthrow owens and get passes off behind our line quickly enough to avoid the sack
  7. i think if we hadn't resigned Chroise, then Fitz would be dressed as the 2nd. admittedly, he is tough and a very good backup and person to have on your team, but as a starter he isnt that good. I'm hoping that both brohm and hamden get in today... I have really wanted hamden to get his chance, and neither of them can really be as bad as the rest of the season can they?
  8. I still must be missing the comparison between vick and jp... I dont remember JP ever scrambling in buffalo other than running for his life which would result in either a bad pass, an attempt at evans, or a fumble. vick was actually an accomplished runner. I'd put him more like flutie personally, as he actually knows how to run when he needs to, and makes room for it. and he DOES actually complete passes.
  9. this is going to turn very quickly into every other vick thread where people say that they'd quit being fans and that he's the scum of the earth. just thought i'd warn those who didn't know that already but I think that he does still have it. with the two backs we have, i think we could make a really good offensive scheme with him.
  10. well theres espn's next week... the tiger thing finally cooled off a bit, and the favre coaching scandal may be almost over, so now we get to hear more about this. so... buffalo?
  11. but he may be really REALLY tricky, and then put hamden in to start, after saying all week that brohm is going to if fitz may or may not be healthy
  12. I love how there are 2 guys that have never taken a regular season snap (or a snap at all) here in buffalo, and one has sucked the entire time because he's only been 3rd string other than in europe, and the other is a complete and total failure because he couldn't make the 2 qb roster behind a relatively young qb that is throwing up really good numbers, and his more experienced backup, and because of that he is a bust and is going to fail the instant he steps onto the field. oh, and a guy who was a terrible qb, but made maybe 2 good passes/game to Evans and fumbled whilst scrambling, but said he liked buffalo has a better future than a 2nd year guy who hasnt had a chance to prove himself. yup... real geniuses on this board
  13. personally, i could give a flying what these guys do with their spare time. if he can win, good. bring him in and lets win. i'm not going to throw a hissy fit at what he did 3 years ago and then served his time for. he knows he's lucky to have been given a second chance, and hopefully he'll make the best of it, and I hope that chance comes here in buffalo. and yes, I do own and love animals
  14. man... i was hoping for Chroise to get the starting shot he should have gotten a chance at a long time ago when the other 2 still sucked
  15. on wkbw earlier they said that no one knows yet, but they expect fewell to comment tomorrow on the QB situation
  16. hopefully ralph can sell it to jim for (literally) pennies on the dollar... or maybe just "hand over ownership" to him. and its not like we need a new stadium. ours really isn't that bad, or old for that matter.
  17. well... i played there at least once in the 4 seasons prior to this one... and i dont play football
  18. i thought that he played pretty well, at least in the beginning. there were actually holes in the line for freddy and the beast to get through into the secondary. there were definitely lower points than him in yesterdays game, i mean, how does your secondary which was pretty good for the rest of the season (top in interceptions) NOT turn around when covering a receiver?
  19. if you're gonna get sacked if you dont get rid of it instantly, why not check down
  20. but defensive coordinators make such good head coaches!
