  1. i have to say pike doesnt look bad as a QB, but Fla's D is spectacularly prepared
  2. if i had to take one, id take pike. but im not too excited about either of them from what im seeing
  3. im waiting to see what the team at UB is going to look like next year... and if some people are right, the bills next QB
  4. from my last post: http://www.videosift.com/video/Giving-Him-The-Business
  5. I think (hope) that brohm is our qb next year. but i dont think TE is as bad as we give him credit for. (touchy subject i know) i think his suck was a product of the coaching staff/line. last year, he was clearly better than JP, and JP was on the outs. he is this years JP. losman on the other hand, goes to the UFL, most people discounting him as being finished in the NFL. now, he is signed (yes raiders, but still signed) and it seems he got some confidence back. the truth is, time will tell. of course, maybe Nix was talking about the 3 qbs active right now with brohm, fitz and chroise. I think that fitz should stay on as backup... he has proven he can do that quite well
  6. well if he got along well with marty, maybe he'll do him a favor and hire his son for the job. i wouldnt complain
  7. well now that i think about it, this is actually quite a change from the bills of late. look at the Marv thing: he was a good coach, but when brought in higher up in the organization it was obviously to play on emotions and sell tickets. it failed as he was not familiar with the workings at the top of the organization. now, they bring in someone who the "fans" on TSW go insane about because he isnt a big name, but he has had a very good career at the top of organizations. he knows how to build a team, or at least how a team is supposed to be built (at least it seems that way). maybe its the optimistic masochist/bills fan in me that makes this look good, but i'll give him a chance
  8. wait... brandon is going to be CEO... wasnt that ralphs job?
  9. doesnt sound too bad to me. at least he is a FOOTBALL guy not a MARKETING guy. and those who say they arent going to renew their tickets will renew once they announce the HC... or they'll just do it quietly but say they didnt because, you know, its all for the principle of the thing...
  10. ok... i dont have a link... but i think i remember turk saying somewhere that he had a scheme drawn up, but then Dick told him it was too complex, and we wound up with the napkin that AVP has been trying to work off of all season
  11. as much as I honestly cant stand the guy, i do hope he is ok. i may not agree with his ideas, and i think most of the time he is insane, but this is america, and he is entitled to broadcast his opinion nationally
  12. where as last year pats went 11-5 and missed the playoffs entirely
  13. vikes v colts. predicting colts win, but i'll be rooting vikes
  14. the bills are so bad, i just downloaded the second string so i can see them actually win something
  15. is he handing the team over to the starting players of the superbowl bills?
  16. yes, hindsight is always 20/20. what amazes me is that theres a better punter than moorman
  17. Fewell said fitz is looking to practice tomorrow, and im going to guess if he's ready he'll start. this is unfortunate, because in the game i watched sunday, brohm handled the game as well or better as fitz once he got more comfortable, and he was throwing some pretty good passes. and I know I was against him starting this season, but his play sunday changed my mind. now I think it may be good for him to play against the colts backups and give him some experience in the buffalo weather.
  18. maybe the throwbacks or something a little different with the white running buffalo helmet? or blue helmet with the standing buffalo?
  19. hopefully fewell saw that he was better than fitz and will let him play this weekend at the ralph (granted against colts backups) but we should still see something
  20. im gonna say that the surprise signing will be something a little different this year. players are too expensive... better to have new uni's and possibly different color end zones... that way the blind proles have to buy new jerseys for EVERY player, rather than just one. and the end zones would bring nostalgia and make people happy... kind of like kelly having some power in the organization
  21. actually wouldnt it make more sense to not draft a qb, but to build a team around a qb that you have that is at the same level as any QB you would be drafting? this frees up one more pick to draft, and we right now can see what we need to build on rather than risk a total bust in the draft
