  1. I think that the current throwbacks, with the white running buffalo helmet would be the way to go
  2. for once i agree with you. though I will still toss in the small sliver of thought that your favorite kitty can turn into a lion
  3. but how can it be good when we're projected to finish 30th and our qb's are the #1 worst in the league?
  4. I do like brohm's form better though...
  5. the arizona cardinals... for ruining the rest of our 5-1 season
  6. and I can hear you on this one, but to say that fitz will be starter just doesnt sit right. Sure, he had some good throws and games (see: 97 yards to owens, miami) but he really doesn't have the skills. The heart and mind yes, but he seemed incredibly inaccurate to me. If Edwards doesn't start, then Brohm will and Fitz will be kept as the backup with Brown in the #3 spot. If TE is starter, then I really dont know who will be cut. I think Fitz should be kept as a backup, but to ditch either Brohm or Brown doesnt seem right. But, I guess in Chan we must trust
  7. wait... WHAT????? did you not notice that the colts didnt care about that game one bit and neither did the rest of the nfl? all it proved was that we're better than what seemed to be the worst backups in the league of one of the worst run defenses in the league... yes they went to the superbowl, but not one of the players that we played against in the second half of that game played at all that season. it was worse than a preseason game other than the fact we won. I'll be fine if either trent or brohm start this year. I think fitz would be valuable to keep as a backup, but I dont want to see brown go for the future yet. maybe he'll clear waivers just like brohm did (does anyone pick up a qb off waivers at the very start of the season?)
  8. what do you bet he goes to the UFL and some coach comes up with a really absurd offensive system that uses him as a running throwing lineman and they win the championship next year
  9. umm... where and for what WOULD he have shown up to in the past few months?
  10. lynch for a 2nd? really? as much as I like lynch, and really think that we need 2 complimentary running backs, if they were willing to give us a 2nd then i'd take it
  11. Its not likely, but stranger things HAVE happened... i mean come on, the Ain'ts just won the superbowl!
  12. know who else is available? todd collins...
  13. this is a sad and long offseason...
  14. wait... i thought we had 3 qbs? did we cut them all?
  15. wait... so we WANT a qb who's team went 1-15 last year? ok... i understand it all now. what i find amusing is that some people want him here and not someone like TE or fitz who has actually won a game in the past 3 seasons... but of course if this board were running the team, we would have picked up thigpen, half of vick, campbell, mcnabb's toenail clippings, and then draft clausen, tebow, pike and lefevour.
  16. actually, in thinking about this... how about skelton in one of the later rounds? i remember gailey saying he wants to go into camp with 4 qb's and the earlier rounds in this version of it seem pretty nice, so that would be a good pick imo
  17. i wouldnt complain if it happened this way... actually seems to work out nice
  18. apparently you missed the part of his news conference where he said that he was going into camp with 4 qbs. was on wkbw last night
  19. so what you're saying is that he never had a real coach. If Trent CAN be fixed and what you're saying is true, then it seems that just lighting a fire under him with some form of punishment every time he is "sacked" in practice for waiting too long should be able to help him play better
  20. problem is, i think thats exactly the problem that has happened the past few years, and why edwards got the name captain checkdown. not because he couldnt throw the ball downfield, but because juaron forced his OC to take out all the plays where the downfield receiver was open, so it had to be a checkdown or the legendary toss sweep. heres to the new regime
  21. dont worry... maybin has enough of that to go around...
  22. actually watching highlights, he was good before juaron ruined him. i never realized how absurdly fast his release was. I now do hope that gailey can help him get his confidence back. with the right coaching and playbook, it shouldn't be too hard for him to regain his confidence, and if that happens then it should be a good plan in qb.
  23. the way i see it is they have similar playing styles, so having mcnabb on board to help tebow develop would be a good thing. then when mcnabb's 2-3 good years is over we are set for another 10 or so
  24. and keep in mind we arent the worst team in the league, though we normally get treated as such by the media for some reason
  25. the only way i can say yes to it is if we get him and tebow... that way we're set for a few years. other than that, meh. gailey has done more with worse than what we have here in buffalo. if he can work with TE or Brohm, then so be it
