to have a long in the tooth guy wanting to earn a ring not dress probably doesn’t jive with his goals or our ability to develop future talent. just my guess but I think most of these want to contribute to earning it, not just be a practice guy in case of emergency. He could sit home with his family and wait for a call at that point
-
having sanders as WR5 is just not good roster construction. Not a unique threat in packages, not ascending and not a special teamer…that deep in the WR depth chart you need at least 2 of those to be solid.
-
you mean like the rams making it multiple times?
-
super star qbs, and superstars that effect qbs win championships. The rest is just some scheming and avoidance of big holes
-
theres no rule to rings. The owner could give them to snow shovelers and concession workers if he wants
-
you mean like when that was declared a couple years ago at their last super bowl appearance? some of y’all hate the idea that the bills could control their destiny a bit here for some reason. Instead of knocking the rams, go circle some targets to acquire. It’s way more fun.

on this single play. What about the 37 other PI reviews we would sit through in a season if the rule changed?
-
yes, but where we diverge…. They could’ve called it on second down if they wanted but they held that flag. The bengals decided they wouldn’t get flagged on everything, but did still get flagged on some. the refs decided to give a lot of leeway but not total carte Blanche
-
To be fair, the bengals were also daring them to calm it at that point
-
Because watching frame by frame reviews of complete judgement calls sounds like a great way to make the watching experience worse.
-
the counter being that the bengals corners started mugging them every down at the end. To call nothing would’ve been terribly egregious. Letting a one off fly here and there is one thing but every down in that situation you have to give the rams some semblance of a fair chance to make plays within the rules
-
the only complaint calling it is they allowed worse. It was a textbook call otherwise.

Why are people always talking pass rusher?

a guy that can get there in a 1-1 matchup changes the game. It’s been a minute but hopefully you’ll get to see that from someone next year -
about a coin flip. I think the rams are the more talented and mature team - but down 2 of top 3 WRs, TE1, and RB1 coming off a major injury and qb limping…. Hard to come back.
-
Just kind of dislikes their team building philosophy
-
you also clearly hate the rams for unknown and seemingly personal reasons
-
6 months from a blown Achilles im not sure he should be a volume play yet, honestly
-
did some city slicker steal your first girlfriend?
-
Should’ve been my a flag on the bengals again there

Bad no call

Sean McVay considering stepping away from coaching?
NoSaint replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
ironically, driven by their worst contracts - in house signings of core guys like galette and graham. And compounded by their coach being suspended and picks stripped. Also they were 11-5 in 2013. How far can you stretch 2010s signing of…. Alex brown? in 2010. I think the Saints cap situation and 3 year 7-9 stretch is one of the most misused arguments out there but that is just my humble opinion. hell, the rams might be the second worst misuse as they get ready for another appearance after stacking crippling move after crippling move on top of their future that was mortgaged years ago -
Danielle Hunter, DE, the perfect trade candidate

yea, must really suck to be a chiefs fan with that super bowl parade they had. It’s downright chilly in February. No one thinks if the consequences of adding dominant pass rushers. -

Or it’s a filler story without legs or it’s an in house power play for something or… -

yeah - only took 16 years of saying it for it to happen there -
agreed on most fronts here. And will say that our mental health facilities didn’t always have sterling reputations when there were more of them. I think the problem is people press for how do we handle bannon today. And the answer is we don’t have a really viable alternate to pushing him into cement, steel and often harrowing violence. not knowing the ins and outs of him specifically, I will say there are ways we could tie prison back towards rehabilitation and not just retribution. Not easy, not instantaneous- but I think there are ways to work on culturally shifting the conversation to create a better chance of successful re-entry to society on the backside. Does he have a brain injury that needs treatment? What’s his drug situation? What types of traumas does he need to process. I like to believe you can take someone off the street and take a swing at some of that stuff while they are out of society instead of letting them get further out on the fringes In terribly unhealthy situations.
