    agreed. araiza gets dicey if he previously engaged in intercourse with her though. the other guys may be much less able to defend themselves

    honestly, my post was just saying the news being broken didn’t really lend much insight. Whether or not they are planning to move on - haack is gone, they need some options in play whether araiza gets indicted or blows out an ACL. obviously there’s high risk in his current situation and a good chance they will move on but even if they are all in with him you must do this

    disagree. Coach very directly said they are working through it less than 24 hours ago. now they are doing that.

    I said it about 40 pages back but I do think this singular thread may be a disservice to the topic. Updates and facts get buried. It creates a weird vacuum here. Either having the first post as a news update post, and mods pinning a post with real news that is updated periodically may be helpful.

    a timeline.. provided instantly… to gratify my needs. im guessing you’ll get updates at some point. It might not be RIGHT NOW.

    if/when the time comes- strap on the helmet, lace up the shoes and get to work. I doubt there will be much “so anybody check out the news today!?!?” chatter. probably real quiet for a bit. A “hey, I don’t know what you are going through but let me know if you need anything” and then try to go about it as normal pretty quickly.

    Yup. Until there is more to share, stick to less, right? I can chat with y’all on here about it, but I am not part of the process and it’s not for me to be included step by step. They will gather and at some point make a commitment to a path forward. At that time we can seek answers for the decision made. It’s not a race to be first, but instead to get it right.

    Bingo. we are used to instant gratification. They don’t need to jerk their knee here. They don’t owe me a timeline while they are still in the active development of this. Not that long ago we’d get once daily updates and the team would be able to actually manage the situation without me demanding to be a part of the experience too.

    hint: reporters would just say rosters are locked at 8am this morning, not give breaking news when the daily roster is confirmed late afternoon. the chiefs cut 5 guys today.

    At some point there will be questions that come due. They will owe a little bit of insight. the idea that they must immediately pull the curtain back by end of day today is not a real thing, and is a bit entitled from a lot of folks.

    I’ll echo an earlier post that this incident is a real challenge for headlines/graphics and the social media age news reporting/consumption. There are just enough layers to the accusations that a 6 word headline can’t be enough to frame it fairly

    In our age of instant gratification it’s not always popular, but sometimes you have to let the story come to you. before saying things on the record. im guessing bills investigators and strategists are having many meetings today to either review new content or reconfirm old beliefs they had
