Another guy in the late rounds I like as a NT is Martin Tevaseau. He seems like a guy who could contribute to the roster even as a late round draft pick.

I'd rather go after Bushrod instead. He's tendered at a 2nd round pick. You might be able to get him for a 3rd in trade. And if you can't trade for him just give him a contract with a poison pill and voila' starting LT for a 2nd round pick.

I gotta agree. It seems like a 17 win team from a power conference(Big East ACC SEC etc) has a better chance at an at large bid than a 22 win school from somewhere like the Missouri Valley Conference.

Jeff Owens reminds me a lot of Myron Pryor from last years draft. The same Pryor who out played Ron Brace by a significant margin in the Patriot's defense. The same Pryor who did an excellent job filling in for Vince Wilfork. If Pryor can man the nose so can Owens. He's the perfect NT heigth, and while he needs to add a few pound's, he's plenty strong.

Well that all depends on how you view Matt Leinart, and Derek Anderson. Because that's there top 2 QB's right now.

So the Saint's 6th ranked rushing attack this season had nothing to do with them winning the Superbowl? What about the Giant's 4th ranked rushing offense in 2007. In 2006 the Steeler's finished 10th in rushing. 3 of the last 4 superbowl champion's have been in the Top 10 in rushing YPG in the year they won the Superbowl. So for a QB driven league running the ball still seem's to matter.
