  1. Don't let some of these guys get you down Dwight...your taking a pounding because of your opinion. The world is a very sensitive place. No one wants to hear something they disagree with, let alone stated strongly. There is a lot of back-and-forth in this post and others, which I enjoy reading, but the "you're a moron!" posts are so hypocritical. I really feel for you on the punctuation police. Those barbs must have hurt badly.
  2. My wife assured me of the same thing, I just didn't want to believe her!
  3. No, I act as a frustrated hockey fan. Seriously? While the emotions are high, I am assuming all of this "punching in the face" is rhetorical. Right?
  4. I'm pretty tired of this kind of comment. I'm pretty sure if you measured the amount of "good" America does in the world vs the amount of "bad" the "good" would far outweigh the "bad". People want to focus on the bad. Try to make America a "bad guy". Fine. Americans are as fine a people in the world as any. America is the finest country in the world. If I am judged as an American by mistakes made by OUR government, then I also want to be judged by things like the millions of dollars and aid given around the world to those less fortunate by the American government (let alone it's private citizens). And why are Americans fighting with Americans (i.e. on this board). We all have a vote. use it. And take responsability for the good and the bad. A picture of the WHOLE, please. Oh, and by the way, opinions are encouraged...NOT discouraged.
  5. I like it...If you get half those guys to pan out, next year you can put the finishing touches on a playoff team. Question: Ticket sales are likely going to hurt. How much can the Bills take in terms of down sales numbers?
  6. Uh, I might be alone here, but I feel that is way too steep a price for McNabb.
  7. Inter divisional trades tend to be expensive, but since Thigpen is an extra in Miami, maybe we could give them Incognito straight up. He is a starting caliber guard and if you can fix his head, he'd be a nice addition for them, and not cost us any draft picks. I'm probably crazy, but just an idea.
  8. I'm not going to read the article because I wanted to give a sarcastic response... Washing balls?
  9. I'm not sure McNabb is a good "attitude" guy. He might not take to well to getting nocked down.
  10. Jim Kelly This was AWESOME! Look at "Floods" Levy running out onto the field at the end. What enthusiasm...not just by him, these looked like a bunch of kids that just wanted to win!
  11. I thought of him as well...he could latch on to someone, but he just went along for the ride!
  12. Thanks man. I didn't realize linmen went that deep on the roster. Even with some shuffling, it looks like we have starters or potential starters from RT to LG. The middle seems solid (Butler/Hangman, Wood, Levitre/Incognito). RT has potential (Mererdith, Bell/Butler). I aggree with the orginal thought that we are not that far off.
  13. How many linemen does a team normally carry? It seems like keepers would be: Livetre Wood Hangman Bell Butler Meredith Incognito That's 7, if we add an LT that's 8. Sounds like too many...do any of these guys have trade value?
  14. I live in south Jersey, and I have a couple of buddies (Bills fans) who live in the area, and I am going to contact them about getting a couple of season tickets. It's certainly not the conventional choice, but after reading everyone's research (and I think that is a GREAT use of this board), I think it is clear the Bills did not take the Brandon marketing route. THis was definitely not a guy on ANYONE's radar, but when you scratch below the surface, I think there is something to be excited about. Was it a football decision? I think so...given the fact that the "A" listers (and maybe the B listers as well) passed. This seems to have taken a lot of thought and a lot of research.
