  1. Agreed. Most of us here are not perfect (and I am not perfect) - and therefore do not sharpshoot very much. When one like slackware does he/she does leave themself open for return fire. So let me be the first to point out that slackware's mistakes in grammar are numerous.
  2. watching from my home in mulberry, fl, via a ps3 on a 55" flat TV. going to order pizza, wings and beef on weck from honey's in tampa (just like the honey's in niagara falls - in fact the orginal owner is here running this one - his son still does the one in niagara falls).
  3. Confirmed. Also, through the recently developed field of Paleo-genealogy is has been discovered that the raptor in question is in fact related to Marv Albert.
  4. Watching now, the streaming video is just fine - not HD - but just fine. Glad I did it.
  5. I also ordered it tonight - I will also let you all know how it goes but i think that it's going to be better than not watching at all.
  6. I think your right as well as "Why So Serious" (You're getting sold, and listening to sales BS. They have no way, no ability, or no desire to turn down your $350. Just go to your PS3 and buy it. There is a question that says, "are you able to get DTV?" just answer No and move on.) It almost seems like they are putting forth the company line but are willing to look the other way to get your money. I'll give it a try and let you know how it comes out.
  7. You are not correct. The NFL Sunday Ticket is the SOLE property of DTV. I called to get it and that is what they told me - to get the NFL ST on your PS3 you cannot be in an area that gets the DTV signal - otherwise you must subscribe to a DTV package to get the NFL ST according to DTV.
  8. not entirely correct. you may only get it through your PS3 IF you cannot get the DTV signal. if in fact you can get the DTV signal then you MUST subscribe to one of the DTV packages that offer the NFL ST - that's the fact jack!
  9. Buffalo Bills First Round Draft Picks Provided by PA Sports Written on April 01, 2009 2004—J.P. Losman, QB, Tulane 1983—Jim Kelly, QB, Miami (from Cleveland) 1960—Richie Lucas, QB, Penn St JP was the 2nd selection in round one in 2004 (Lee Evans being the first selection that year) but a first round pick nonetheless.
  10. I think there is. So no qb's are taken - and only two of the following are taken: Fairley, Dareus, or Von Miller - then the one not chosen will be our pick. That given - only Buddy knows how much he thinks of Newton - I'm not sure it's enough to pass up any of the three I mentioned above - but it could be. But like most here, I do believe that the #3 pick will be someone that Buddy believes will really help the Bills and contribute right away. However your take is just as valid as mine - let's just hope the #3 pick will not be a bust - because there are no promises in the draft and anyone can be a bust - anyone. The NFL draft is a crap-shoot and always will be.
  11. curious title to your thread - it is almost exactly what i thought when we scored in overtime
  12. my mother-in-law passed away last year at 104 and she was still giving quilting classes at the local library. she still had a very good mind and well capable of making sound decisions. and there are many more like that - really there are.
  13. the correct word is their - now that is "grammar" police work to machinegun12: your post was more of "spelling" police work but at any rate - i agree with your post bisonbrigade
  14. You are pretty wrong about that: To salute the flag during the national anthem, all persons come to attention. All persons in uniform should give the military salute. Members of the Armed Forces and veterans who are present but not in uniform may also render the military salute. All other persons should salute by placing their right hand over their hearts. Men wearing a head covering (a hat, cap or other headwear) are to remove it. Women do not have to remove their head covering.
  15. not self righteous - but i do not compromise my values - and that will not change. it's a life's truism that people of low moral fiber seem to call people self righteous just because the low moral fiber types have never lived up to standards, or even have any for themselves. and i have many, many friends, in many different countries - but wait those who are my friends are not people of low moral fiber - funny how that works. and once again for the mental process challenged - i have a slight visual impairment - the larger font is for me so i can preview my posts before i post to cut down on the numerous typo's.
  16. i wasn't calling you a name - just simply identifying you as who and what you are! btw - you got the chief right - i am a retired chief warrant officer - retired from the central america joint intelligence team/counter-drug joint intelligence center in the pentagon - and you wouldn't last two minutes in my jungle either little girl!
  17. i think mccargo will be released today to make room for nelson
  18. you are such a little girl - grow up hmmmm - wrong again joe - i am the most anti-drug person you will ever meet. i spent most of my life stopping the flow of narcotics into the us - and frankly you wouldn't last two minutes in my jungle
  19. i couldn't help but notice in all of your high-minded social commentary that you could not resist in throwing out a racist comment - very classy - very socially aware.
