  1. McCargo--lazy, unmotivated * yep and coach gailey will not put up with that imo - he will either give 110% or be cut - and it is possible (though not likely) that he can be properly motivated to perform - at least he will be in the right environment for that to happen. Lynch--trouble maker, character issues * spot on - one poor choice away from being suspended for a year - he is a liability imo Bell--lack of talent * maybe a little early on this call oh spherical one - maybe just a tad early - let's see what he has after being coached up by a decent coaching staff directed by a good offensive minded hc
  2. yep you are 100% correct. in fact, niagara falls is not on the ancient 7 wonders of the world list nor the modern 7 wonders of the world list.
  3. pathetically clueless - i am so glad you have nothing to do with building my beloved bills team into a professional, respectable, and competitive football team again. and here are my reasons why: 1. Buddy Nix..surprise - a very good to great football move 2. Chan Gailey..surprise and shock - a gifted offensive minded coach that brings the best out of his qb's 3. CJ Spiller... surprise - a brilliant move to grab the best player available and who btw was the most exciting player last year because he has the ability to score a td every time he touches the ball 4. No QB in the off season..surprise. - no surprise to me . . . see the second reason above 5, No LT in the off season...surprise. - again no surprise as they probably will bring someone in before camp no need to panic or spew negative garbage when there hasn't even been an entire team ota yet - really
  4. nice positive post and i agree 100% - we will put a better product on the field and be more competitive - forget the pre-ota's, pre-camp, and pre-season negative clowns on here - they know nothing else - better yet send some positive thoughts their way to help manage their seemingly difficult point-of-views that they collectively spew on a regular basis.
  5. hopefully every player who underperforms will be given walking players
  6. then it's a good thing clayton's not running the offense - i am hoping he gets closer to 18 carries a game + thrown to 5-7 times a game + any return touches he gets - imo that would put us in a better competitive position. he has the ability to take it all the way every time he touches the ball - gm nix and coach gailey know this already though
  7. QUOTE (apuszczalowski @ May 13 2010, 08:47 PM) WHY DOESN'T ANYONE UNDERSTAND, THE FRONT OFFICE GOT EXACTLY WHO THEY WANTED! 1. actually he doesn't like the spillar pick - he has made that clear - really. and yes all of the "points" he made have been made over and over and over and over . . ad nauseam. just get over it already. 2. well, duh, yes it does mean it was the best decision - why? because they made it. and it will take a year or two to see if it was the correct long-term decision. but at that time is was the best decision - period. 3. no not really, that poster was still frothing at the mouth about the spiller pick - at best it is re-hashed stale poor conversation - at worst it was just more negativity over that particular pick. 4. now, why don't YOU understand?
  8. 1. that is a pathetic stance - pathetic. 2. some studies shows that it takes years and years off of the back end of a lifespan - hmm wonder why is it banned now? 3. i really feel sorry for you if you can dismiss this point so easily - but then again with your weed comment it is clear why they call it dope.
  9. thanks john for the explanation but it is still the ap's award - so the bottom line is: becasue it is the ap's award that makes it ultimately the ap's responsibility for it - no need for reply because the point is clear enough for everyone
  10. (1) three points on that statement: 1. that's all they do is make statements - it is their job - some good and intuitive some not so good - so of course it's their job it since that is what they do; 2. and they made a social statement - and a poor social statement - pathetic; 3. your lack of understanding this is alarming. (2) the nfl does not get a pass - but it is not the nfl's award - however it is clear the nfl did not do the right thing either - there we agree on that point
  11. that is so wrong - of course you blame the organizers of the vote - it's called the ap rookie of the year award - why? . . . it's their award - it is their responsibility because it is their award - they bask in the glory of it every year . . . except this year where they wallow in the manure of it.
  12. just another in one of the most pathetic statements and/or stances that these worthless no-talent hacks have made. there was an opportunity to stand up and be someone and actually do the right thing and in their typical behavior they made the decision to be no-one, a non-entity, a nothing in the correct fight against cheating in sports. pathetic . . . just pathetic . . . not surprising though considering who was involved.
  13. 1. actually who the gm and coach are is the beginning of things getting better 2. no it's not - the right answer is i really hope you are right about the complete turn around season but i'll be happy with an improvement of the product on the field 3. and finally - a turn around season CAN'T be accomplished if the hc does not believe it can - it begins there on the field
  14. if he is totally healthy i would agree that he would be a nice upgrade to our o-line - but that does seem to be in question at this point. let him pass a complete medical to include mri's on that foot that held him out of 2 out of 3 days of ot's this past weekend - then they can make a good offer for him. i have my doubts that he is totally healthy. if all of the posters here think that an lt in his prime is worth so much - and he is one - why would baltimore want to let him go. baltimore has spent money on good players and paid them well - so this isnt about money. oher is a better lt than gaither - i do not think so - close but not as good when both are healthy and playing at their best. still i guess there could be other reasons (that we know nothing of) for the rave-mans wanting to rid themselves of gaither - i guess i go back to the original idea of let him pass a comprehensive physical first - then let's talk.
  15. then why even start this thread - really - why
  16. or maybe . . . just maybe . . . they already know that maybin will be on the roster and they want to see what those guys can do since this is a "rookie-mini-camp"
  17. agreed - in fact i'd give up both if that's all it took
  18. time will tell - but that is why we drafted the way we did - to be better than 30th in the nfl against the run - because it doesnt matter who the qb or lt is if we cant stop the run
  19. my lady - is that just a bit harsh? not a te fan - but me thinks it just might be a tiny bit harsh - funny - but a tiny bit harsh
  20. hi lori, sorry we missed you last month - the wife and i were looking forward to it - perhaps another time but on to the reason for the post - first i am not a te fan - but when a national sports reporter demeans (and captain checkdown is demeaning and insulting) a professional athelete it makes me wonder about that reporter's professionalism and motivation for such a negative act of blantant name-calling. we all know where and how that nickname came about but what we dont know is what he was instructed to do by the qb coach/oc and/or hc both of which were did not exhibit good communications and were out of their league imo.
