Nothing like having to watch the Raiders literally throw away the game to the Fins right before the Bills game starts. -
Jets are expected to pursue Davante Adams this offseason

Considering the 3 picks they had last year (Wilson, sauce, hall), I think they can spend some of their assets on another top tier player. -

Yea, but now we game planned for Wilson so they'll might throw Tim Boyle at us and walk all over the bills. -
No idea why this was my first thought but yea.... 😆

I want to turn this into something about him and mom's? (and the math tutor one still fits if you ask me). Milf Slayer? Bills Layer? Math tutor?

the Jets haven't scored a TD on 37 consecutive offensive drives against the chargers and the raiders. If they get 2 TDs in one game, that's just bad defense especially with a banged up Wilson and Hall still not completely back from his injury. They have 2 over the hill ex-Packers and what else?
-
They appear to be in this case.

This is a joke right?

I believe holding Josh back from running is definitely a part of the problem for sure. That was a collective agreement it would seem between McD, Dorsey and probably to a lesser extent, Allen. I think the thing we are all going to be looking to see is if it looks like the same offensive scheme/play calling that we have been seeing for the past 6 weeks. Simplified, dumbed down concepts with little to no creativity. By no means do I think that Brady is going to be able to change that on a short week but we might see a flash of something here or there. That's where I feel like Dorsey could be the root of the problem and not just the running. If it turns out all they had to do was let Josh run and the scheme/play calling look the same, then yes, I absolutely agree that he was "sacrificed" as a result of their own decisions.
-
The question is whether McD will lift that restriction or not. At this point, he'd be a fool not to so then the blame can be directed at Dorsey even more for limiting Josh even though McD was likely heavily in favor of it. The best part is, he won't even have to point at Dorsey if Josh starts playing Luke he used to. The media and fans will do it for him.

Someone did call in yesterday and pointed out since 2018, there have been 78 WR's taken in the first 3 rounds of the draft. The only two teams that haven't taken one are the Bills and the Bucs.
-
And the fact is, he doesn't even have to scapegoat Brady. It's as simple as saying: "it was a short week and we were trying to see what we could do to get some more energy out of the guys. Did some good things and thing they are going to keep getting better moving forward." No blame needed and can let Josh be Josh. Now if Josh ends up doing the same thing that he did in the first game, that's where the blame is going to go and rightfully so.
-
But that's kind of my point in saying if the offense does turn it around even with the lack of talent at WR. Brown and Beasley didn't exactly knock anyone back when they were signed but ended up having their most productive years in this same offense so something schematically changed enough that players aren't able to get open anymore except Diggs anyways. That was kind of the opinion of most people even when they were winning earlier on in the season (see every 3rd and 1 shotgun run). Kind of hard to not hold it against him (or at least someone) for taking a dual threat QB and turning him into what Josh has looked like the past 6 weeks.
-
It definitely wasn't a good look. Tagged billsmafia to go after someone because he specifically said "one time" when asking about why they haven't asked the coaches about Josh using his legs. Either way, no matter how many times it was asked to the coaching staff the answer would likely be a non-answer anyways. Probably the closest thing we would get would be "we want Josh to be smart out there and take care of himself" which still doesn't answer the question of whether they are telling him not to run.
-
Can you really call Dorsey a "sacrificial lamb" if the offense does end up turning it around because he's no longer the OC? To me that sounds more like they found "the root of the problem".
-
"low positive" vs "high fructose" I'd rather have "high fructose" Josh.
-
Well this is something that is sure to make him more likeable to fans. 😆
-
Well if that was the case, he wouldn't take any callers. He has a day a week set aside for doing nothing but taking calls for 2 hours from fans. Not exactly going to get the ratings up by taking no calls so he's kind of stuck with the bad ones.
