  1. yeh...my main concern is he doesn't start tryin 2 be cool with all these gang bangers
  2. Woooaaah. I almost thought I read that Kelsay is one of our best defenders. Must be time to get my eyes examined.
  3. I also give Jim Kelly huge respect for wanting to stay in the area and continue to be the face of the franchise. It's guys like him who make it great to be a Bills fan.
  4. We do not choose to be fans, it is our duty. If we wanted to swear off the Bills tomorrow we couldn't. Why do we care so much about something that has hurt us so bad along the years? We care because our team needs us as much as we need them. Just like you don't walk away on someone you love when they are down and out because of poor decisions they have made. We as fans have not and will not walk away from the Buffalo Bills. This signing today does not happen if it was not for people like us. The people who can name atleast 90-100% of the roster at any point throughout the year. The people who check in on this website atleast once a day because they feel like they have to. The people who altered their schedule over the last few days because they had to know if we signed Mario. This signing is for us. When people talk about how great the sports fans in Buffalo are they are not talking about some mystery man, they are talking about you and I. This signing does not happen without us. If this was Cincinnati Mario Williams does not sign because it is just a questionable city with a football team. He could have got paid big $ anywhere. But he chose us, the place that is known for having the best fans in the NFL. And if you don't think we had something to do with it you don't know football. We give an average city its only hope to land big name free agents since we no longer over pay for them. We are the appeal. So in closing here is to us the best fans in sports. This is much more than a simple NFL free agent signing. This is eternal hope for the future. This is what could finally turn our franchise around and get us that Super Bowl Championship that we so badly deserve. No matter what happens we can take comfort that we do in fact have a big impact on our hope for the future. Thank you and GO BILLS!
  5. He used his clause to opt out of the deal before the press conference
  6. Per BB.com. I think he is talking about Jackson. I really don't know if Williams is the other one. I get the feeling Nix feels pretty confident about getting Jackson.
  7. Why YES there is. You must not have gotten a chance to watch many games last year. We need to spend our picks on need positions such as DE and OLB....not luxury picks. That scenario you mentioned would be the dumbest thing we could do.
  8. You could be right but I have my doubts they will go after a injurey prone LT after not resigning their own for the same reason.
  9. Let me start buy saying although Vincent Jackson is a Buddy Nix guy the Redskins and probably Tampa are going to throw the farm at him and Nix is to smart to get in a bidding war. Mario Williams is simply not coming to Buffalo. He has stated that it is more about a right fit for him and not the money. He said something along the lines of how he is already rich from his rookie contract. WR- Look for them to sign Eddie Royal or Early Doucet. Chan knows Royal well from coaching against him at Georgia Tech. Buddy knows Doucet well from scouting that region for the Chargers. They will hope whoever they get will make a decent # 2 Receiver. I would also look for the to draft a small speed receiver with one of our picks in the 4th round. LT- It appears the Bills will let Bell test the market. That being said I don't think he will be back. Look for them to spend the #10 pick on a tackle. They seem to view Hairston as a great depth swing tackle rather than a starter. DE- This will be addressed in the second round of the draft with a guy like Vin Curry or Cam Johnson. Branch will be gone. Buddy made it clear he thinks there will still be quality at DE by round 2. OLB- Our one big free agent will be Kamerion Wimbley. He will be released. It is thought the Chargers and Bills will have the most interest in him. The Chargers are not in the position to offer him what the Bills can and will. Wimbley strikes me as a guy that $ is the sole factor as to where he will play. I think Dave Wannstedt will use him as a 2 down LB and a 3rd down DE. CB- I believe we will address this in the 3rd round of the draft and possibly a low teir free agent. So there you have it, what I beleive will be are two biggest free agent signings and our first four draft positions. Not all that exciting, but realistic knowing how Buddy and co. run things. With these moves Buddy will be able to focus on extending his own guys like Levitre and Bryd when the time comes, which he has made clear is his #1 priority. Flame away.
  10. As far as his height I heard him say in a radio interview that you dont throw over people to complete passes you throw through the holes except on deep balls, which is mostly true
  11. I hope he is messing around but I doubt it. If he isn't we need to franchise his ass. He seems a little bit Hollywood for Buffalo. I hope I am wrong. I can't think of many examples of people taking to twitter to explain how reports of a deal are "crazy" the night before they sign.
  12. He will more likely command something like a 5 year 40 million dollar contract. He is only 28 and big and fast. Someone will pay him.
  13. I don't think posturing is in his vocab. This is kinda sad if they really think DE is not our top need. It is unlikely we will sign a top tier DE free agent. Here is to hoping something got lost in translation.
  14. Ralphy mite. Let us hope his home aides are still not allowing him to use his rotary phone for which he used to draft him in the first place.
  15. I thought he was the best CB on the field even in the preseason. His size and speed combo is way above any other CB on this team. He got beat a couple of times I agree, but to me he was the best of the bunch. And yes, Dareus was great last year...I don't feel like he gets all of the props he deserves. He was a man among boys on our d-line.
  16. I haven't posted in a while but this craziness about how bad our cornerbacks and how weak our LT are is has brought me out of hibernation. Sometimes I think we must have been watching different teams last year. We had arguably the worst pass rush in the league and still some out there think cornerback should be one of our top FA/Draft priorities. Give any QB 6 seconds to pass and they will shred your secondary. Our o-line was one of the strongest positions on our team last year and some fans think we need to take a LT with the 10th pick. Really? We allowed the fewest sacks in the NFL and we got great value out of a mid round OT(Hairston). The O-line was great in run and pass blocking. Considering the type of offense we run and the QB we have (needs very little time in the pocket) the O-line and running backs are the strongest positions on this team. Let me break the starters down for those who are a bit confused. LT-Hairston/Bell- One was a midround pick who played pretty damn good all season especially for a rookie who was supposed to play RT. The other allowed 1 sack in 7 games and could be brought back relatively cheap. Yet some people want to waste a 1st round pick on a position we actually have good depth. Moves like this are the reason why this team pisses in the wind year in and year out. Those who are calling for this need to rewatch every game to see the opposing QBs having enough time to make a ham sandwich in the pocket. Cornerbacks Florence- Had a rough year but so would Revis with that poor excuse for a D-line -Dareus. We just resigned him last year no way we will cut him like some seem to think. Still a great playmaker although sometimes for the other team. Big and physical is a +. He can match up with the bigger WR in our division. Williams- When healthy was are most solid CB in my opinion. Lots of upside and seems like he will be a solid CB for years to come. Mcgee- Thought we would cut him but restructured his contract. Perfect nickel CB. Which is what I think the Bills will use him for. 3 million a year makes that doable. Mckelvin- Wouldn't count on him for much more than 4th CB. He has playmaking skills. Lacks coverage skills but is not as bad as some make him out. Good depth to fill in at # 2 CB in case of injury. Will more than likely stay on the team because we wouldn't save much money from cutting him. Rogers- Was solid when he was on the field. Could be a sleeper to start next year. Fast, with decent size, and seemed to be around the ball quite often last year. Although I don't think bringing in another CB through FA wouldn't be a bad idea I do not think we need any help at o-line as long as we resign Bell. We have no decent options at DE next year I personally think that should be are #1 and #1a priorities this offseason. Edwards is pathetic and Kelsey isn't far behind. Carrington would be good for depth. Don't really see the argument with this evaluation, but here they come.
  17. I agree we will make some sort of play for Mario Williams.....something along the lines of a 91 toyota trecel and his pick of one of Ralphs many walkers to help in his rehab process. And we will all be suprised when he signs with another team fo 7 years 75 million $.
  18. And im sure you never pass judgement. The guy is a loser as a person and a joke of a football player.
