I would love this. All the talk about distraction? I think you have to look at the success of teams on this show. It would put eyeballs on Buffalo which isn't a bad thing, it would allow more access for us diehards, and it really is a well done interesting show. It was good with the bengals a team I care nothing about I can't imagine how interesting I would find it if it was done on the team I love.

I'm not going to quote the entire post but ocinbuffalo that is one of the best posts I have ever read on this site!

Keenan Allen is unstoppable right now!
-
Why can o-lineman move around and turn their heads sometimes and then have to be frozen like a statue other times. When does the change happen that they can move freely bs. Being in position?

Like I said I don't see it but the reasoning was it would help get a new stadium in San Diego. I also like the Broncos going away in this game and had to quit betting because I also am on the wrong side of things all the time lol.

Read earlier today that the nfl has rigged the playoffs for the Chargers to win the Super Bowl. I don't see it and would love for Peyton to win his second. Especially since it means I won't have to deal with the pats* in the Super Bowl.

Yes and no. He has also taken flyers on high risk players with questionable backgrounds. Randy Moss would be a great example to disprove your point. He takes any and all players that think they can win and also buy into "his way or the highway." When Moss was no longer worth the headache they cut ties with him.

Players drafted by the Bills that won the Super Bowl

I think Tim Anderson won one with the Ravens as well. -
Colts Elevate Da'Rick Rogers to the Active Roster

Well as a simpleton please explain to me (because I must be too dumb to grasp and nobody else has answered) how do you separate the conversation from the player? For every Jason Peters there is a Mike Jasper. Don't you think perhaps every player is rated on a risk reward scale? My Duke Williams and Kiko Alonso examples have been glossed over. This team has taken a stab in the very same draft on players with questionable backgrounds that sre still on the team. My original post last night was exactly to the bolded part. Now though all of the people who were screaming about what a mistake it was to cut him (looking at you Kirby) have now backpedaled to claim that this has nothing to do with Rogers. Except nobody knows why exactly he was cut. I, as a simpleton, won't debate global warming. Hell I haven't even debated whether or not cutting Rogers was a good thing. All I have done is point out that the overreacting crowd (60 catches and 7 tds a year!!!) has some crow to eat and that I am sure this week will be filled with overreaction the other way. Instead there has just been deflection about how dumb some of us posters are for not being able to grasp this conversation. Simpleton He was only activated after numerous injuries. He didn't contribute much save for one game to the fact that this team made the playoffs. I'm thinking that Luck/Manning and the division they play in have more to do with making the playoffs regularly than having Rogers on the team. The Bills took a shot on him and decided he wasn't worth spending the time on developing. Only time will tell if they are right but it is way to early to say that the Bills screwed the pooch on this one. -
Jamie Collins played out of his mind for them tonight. Maybe they saw something maybe they didn't. Personally I'm not buying the theory that he was put on IR for missing a meeting. Belicheat wouldn't purposefully disadvantage his team to send a message especially one that will be leaving in the offseason imo.

Yup I keep saying this. They satarted out slow to the tune of 10-2 and then it was off to the races. I believe I saw that only 2 UNC players scored more than 4 points. Grant is starting to come into his own but this team has so many weapons. On any given night it may be Ennis, Cooney, Fair, or Grant that goes off for 20. Add in the presence of Keita to make the hustle plays and I'm really liking this team. To pile on the ACC I have had to listen for years from my friends that are Dunke and UNC fans how bad the Big East is and how over rated all of their teams were. I heard all about how UNC was going to beat Cuse this week because they show up against good teams. After the game Duke fans started in about how they will take down Cuse and then they lost by 13. I am really enjoying all of the crow they are eating!

Colts Elevate Da'Rick Rogers to the Active Roster
section122 replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Again I will beat my own dead horse. It has everything to do with the individual player. The Bills have proven they are not beholden to any one strategy when it comes to dealing with players with behavioral problems. They drafted both Duke Williams and Kiko Alonso who had issues in college and then made the team. Duke Williams did not contribute to the team this year but was kept around all year long. As for the win now vs. win tomorrow that is a delicate balance for every team the Bills included. Some players are kept because they can help you win now and some are kept on potential. Each individual player is weighed on this scale. Is it worth the time and investment on said player? Again this has to deal with Da'Rick himself in this thread as several posters are up in arms that Chris Hogan was kept over Da'Rick. I grasp it just fine but you are lying to yourself if you think this thread doesn't have to do with Da'Rick himself. I have kept up with this topic and am fairly neutral on it. We won't know whether this was a good cut or not for quite some time. Add in the fact that none of us truly know the circumstances that led to his being cut and we may never know. If he doesn't have that "game changing catch" last week does this thread get ressurected? You yourself have railed against Hogan vs. Rogers repeatedly in this thread. Why? You think long term that HE will contribute more to the team. In post 573 of this thread you stated that you were done with this topic. Then in 576 you bumped this topic over his one catch. That was page 29!!! My original post today was completely tongue in cheek about the overreaction to his one catch and how it was proof that the Bills had screwed the pooch. What followed was 27 pages in one week!!! That is not a "simple conversation on philosophy." I will leave you with this (no that doesn;t mean I'm done with this topic)... You can not separate this conversation from the player. As I have said repeatedly each player brings his own talents, baggage, work ethic, and potential. There is no cookie cutter philosophy to who gets kept and who doesn't. Each player has his own circumstances. -

Yes it has been some of the better posters beating the same dead horse all week long. It's impossible to separate the player from the conversation though. There are some knuckleheads that end up getting it and turning it around. There are others that don't. Question marks vary player to player as does the results. You can't say that this has nothing to do with the player. -

Well since we got a weeks overreaction of how amazing this guy is going to be because of his huge game changing (1) catch last week, can we get this week to be overreaction about how terrible he is and how justified the Bills were in cutting him? -
To be honest I think that the pats* would have won this game without any help. What disgusts me is the fact that it always seems to break their way. All of the calls I pointed out were fairly blatant. With 7 officials in each game there really is no excuse for all of them going uncalled. Especially since they all broke in one teams favor.
-
Right on cue no tripping call...
-
I hate that rule and don't mind that no flag was thrown there as he was airborne. That said 3 calls/no calls in that quarter alone leading to 8 points for the pats* and ending a drive for the Colts. C'mon Colts overcome the zebras!
-
And no pi there...
-
Blatant hold on that 3rd down... And then a bs penalty on that one... Just marching them to the endzone...
-
Decker was fantastic in college as well. I would love to see him in a Bills uni but don't really see any way of it happening. At 6'3" he would certainly be the big target the Bills are looking for.

Johnny Manziel RULES!!! Declares for NFL draft
section122 replied to Buffalo Barbarian's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I won't say that he will get killed but no Sec defenses aren't as big and fast as NFL defenses. College ball is filled with 18-22 year olds and many players that will never sniff an Nfl roster let alone start on d. The NFL is filled with fully grown men. There is a reason you can't jump to the pros in less 3 years. These "kids" haven't fully developed yet. The flip side of that argument is that maybe manziel will also grow. His frame though unlike Wilson's is smaller and thinner. I won't say that he will get killed but no Sec defenses aren't as big and fast as NFL defenses. Nah I sold mine. My season ticket cost $485 and I sold duke and unc. I'm now in only $295 for the rest of the games. It was too good of a deal to pass up. That said ill never buy seasons again. Early season games are rapid fire and against weak competition. I also saw tickets for the Indiana game going for $5 right at tip off. I think I'm going to try it for Duke and if I can't get them just drive home and watch in on dvr. The Sarah vs seera debate has me split. I've heard it both ways and dot even know that I say one over the other. Certainly not something I've heard people ever talk about and not nearly the lightning rod that pop vs soda is!

Stands are all sorts of empty in the upper corners. Kind of surprising for what is traditionally a tough place for teams to play. I thought I was blacked out too but it is on nbc of all channels. I wonder why you keep getting blacked out there. Pitt has to be the closest acc school to you and even still I don't get why that would black you out.

I have a feeling Reese and fusco will show up in the nick of time on this one. Can't wait for this show what a cliffhanger at the end of the last one!

Yeah I'm not saying he failed drug tests or was as bad as Lynch just that there heads weren't quite right and in it while here. It is just my own speculation but it is the conclusion I ended up at. There is a whole spectrum of not quite getting it from Titus young to just laziness and apathy during practice, meetings, etc... That could lead to someone getting cut. I proposed this in the other thread. Pure conjecture but so is everything here.
