  1. Great list though after reading each one I was reminded of the piece of my soul missing because of that game. I would add the 2001 home collapse against the Dolphins to that list. It was a terrible season, hadn't won a home game yet, though it was late November, and I had the good fortune to have been at every one. Then when the Bills put up a big lead on the fins to make us feel we were finally going to get one, the Bills somehow snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.... yet again.
  2. This is a bad story. Last thing Buffalo needed was another black eye for the national media. It hurt us all a lot but it is only a game after all. I hope that the word can get back to all the players that this type of idiocy represents a very small portion of the Bills fans out there.
  3. This guy is a douchebag, not to mention your typical arrogant m!@#$ type. The Bills are likely not great, and maybe not even good, but to make these kind of assumptions before any game is played is just plain stupid. If the Bills do end up going 0-16, then you can justify writing something like this. Until then f' him and that whole 5hithole New England area right in the a55! GO Bills!
  4. That seems pretty low to me too. When did you place that bet? I got 50$ at 40-1 at Mandalay Bay just before pre-season started .
  5. +1 and pretty much the whole Panther's team looked pathetic for the majority of that game.
  6. What an f'n idiot. It would have taken two seconds of research to see that the Bills are sold out until the last two games of the season. Just one time in my like I would love the Buffalo to see some positive press.
  7. I can't believe no one has said the obvious being the main theme of this board.... The Bills, hands down, number one MUST SEE attraction. ( Especially if you have the morbid like to see train wrecks and drive slow by car accidents attitude ) j/k I still have faith. Go BILLS!!!
  8. It is tough replacing Van, he was one of the best there ever was. You have to think we can do better than Murph though. I like him, but he is much better suited for color commentary than play by play. And I second the Joe buck comments on here. He is a waste of space and has ruined many viewings of sports on Fox for me. Add Aikman to the mix and you have the worst pair in the NFL imho. Thankfully the Bills are only on fox twice a season.
  9. Oh yeah, I forgot about that. I think they call them flag girls for some reason though.... as if that makes a difference in their actual job duties.
  10. Still seems kind of useless to me. I can't see myself getting excited about a Bills game that has been over for hours. Maybe it is just me, but this doesn't seem like much of a compromise by the NFL at all.
  11. Or if you want hot ones..... Sundowner. Hard to argue against them being kind of useless, I was more just wondering if maybe someone knew about some kind of policy or rule that these teams have that prohibits cheerleaders for some reason.
  12. Ha, well I'm not blaming the FO for the Jills, and I did say semi-attractive and not ugly. I guess the idea is that extremely hot women in WNY are probably less common than in somewhere like Miami or So Cal. But that is a debate for a different thread.
  13. I noticed last night that there did not appear to be any cheerleaders for the Pittsburgh Steelers. I knew that the Jets and Giants did not have them and I guess I always thought that was just some dumb Jersey thing. However after not seeing any shots of scantily clad women trying to rouse up Steeler fans during last night's broadcast I did a little digging this morning. According to the internet there are seven NFL teams who do not have a cheerleading squad. Jets Giants Browns Bears Packers Lions Steelers Anyone have any idea why this would be for any or all of these teams? Not that the Jills are anything special, but I would rather have semi-attractive cheerleaders than no cheerleaders at all.
  14. You forgot one thing. Score more points than they do.
  15. Usually, and especially the last 9 years with the cheating Boston team, there is someone in there for me to strongly root against. That is almost as good as having the Bills in.
  16. Exactly, or more like HOPING TO is going to start a controversy. Him just being a normal player and answering questions like they all do isn't a story, so even a glimpse of his antics makes most reporters run with it full speed.
  17. Unfortunately, no matter what TO says or what he really meant, anything that comes out of his mouth is going to be spun and used by ESPN and the rest to make it look like he is being his bad old self if they can get away with it. This shouldn't surprise anyone because it is part of the cost of bringing him in. It is just something we will have to deal with all season.
  18. That's weird. I thought for sure I read he was going to be taking his old Super Hero job back with the Justice League of America.
  19. New year brings new hope Yet our play still seems the same Seven wins again.
  20. I read on the message boards a couple days ago that they would be showing a replay on Saturday on a Syracuse area station. I doubt it will be on live tonight though as the black outs carry to Syracuse during the regular season. I get my channels out of Syracuse too, so I hope I am wrong.
  21. I am curious as to why you would post a thread about going to Boston when you didn't want anyone to comment about things to do there.... Was this a social experiment to see how many people would blindly ignore your statement about not giving advice? Well add me to the ignore list and take my advice to pi55 on Fenway if you get the chance.
  22. We use Drupal at my current job and used it at my last job for documenting and sharing info between engineers. http://drupal.org/ It isn't too difficult to set up and very easy to manage and use once you get going. You just need a database box to store the information and a host box. We are using Apache for our server.
