With a top shelf passing game and a solid defense (only going to get better when the CB's and DT's) get healthy, there are no complaints whatsoever about scoring 28-40 points a game with Allen at the helm running a pass heavy offense.

I am curious about the vision the team has for the running game though.

Is there an ideal split for carries? Do the Bills plan on having three or four capable backs and churning over new ones every few years for salary to be used on other positions while Allen is a top 3 QB the next decade? Do we have 4-5 passing options each down and keep doing that until a team learns to slow the offense a bit?

I think it is awesome that the Bills barely utilize a running game. Other than Singletary having  like two big games last year to get over 800 yards, our RB's have averaged like 500-600 yards the past 5 years  when you take away Allen's running skills.

I wonder if the Bills will have a bell cow back again, or if RB is likely the 4th option on most plays.

Thoughts?  Would you like to see anything different or are you indifferent like me as long as we win?

This would be a good time to get the running game going. That team is fast. Josh is at a point where he can change plays when he assesses the defense. I didn't like Ken Dorsey having Allen in the shotgun on those 3rd and 4th and ones. Why didn't he call a quarterback sneak? I don't like nitpicking Dorsey, but I hated those calls. Hopefully he learns from that.

    I.E., it's pseudo-science nonsense.

Thanks for your take on it.

Hi might have completed the pass, but let's face it - it wouldn't have changed the outcome of the game.

If Espnenesa had held up, the Bills still would have won and Tua wouldn't be out for the season.

I'd take that trade-off any day.

Injury is part of the game. We can't ask players to let another player win even a single play. Jobs are at stake. Epenesa did what any other player in that position would do. If he's fined, I'm sure he would make the same hit again  if given the chance.

Yeah, man.  It's close.  I can see why many think it was clean.  Bias is powerful.  I just see the hit differently when I try to forget being a Bills fan.

I tried to look at it from the point of a Miami fan. I still think it's a football hit. I mean, if Epenesa held up, he probably completes that pass, right?

  5. I feel the offense can be fixed. What I most worry about is Josh Allen's confidence. He has to be confident despite a poor performance versus Pittsburg and a less that stellar performance against Miami. If he loses confidence, then the Bills could be in for trouble. I thought that I saw a drop in his confidence in the post game interviews. I hope I am wrong. Did anyone else see this?

Hopefully this forces Daboll into more 3 WR sets.  Davis is interchangeable with Sanders and they can go with Kumerow in 4 WR sets if they want size or McKenzie if they want speed/trickery.  Not saying he is not a good player but they have options - very good ones if he can not play.

Really want to see what Oliver can do with Star lined up next to him.

I wish we had a better TE

You’re first problem is you listen to WGR between 3-7pm.  I refuse to listen to those idiots.  Besides I have Sirius and would much rather listen to Movin the Chains.  When I’m in the car, I enjoy the other shows.  I’m just shocked those afternoon guys are still there.  I’ve never heard anyone tell me they like or respect those two.

😂😂  You're right. But truth be told, I rarely listen to them. Sometimes when I get bored, I try it. Then their conversations get so mundane. All I want now is football talk.

Yes.  Thank you.  I’ve been in that stadium for 35 years.  Since the advent of the iPhone, I have a hard time on the way out of the games telling whether we won or lost because everyone leaving is on the phone looking at their stupid fantasy teams and stupid online betting.

    I hate it!!!!

All day long.  Give me real football.  If I want to gamble, I do it on things that can feed my family.  Like the stock market.

One of the things I particularly detest about fantasy is the reduction of the human/emotional component of sports.  The idea that “momentum” or emotion don’t matter is obtuse to me.  Ever play team sports?  You don’t want to let your buddy down.  Ask the Army about the buddy system.  None of this stuff occurs in a vacuum.

I went to Bills game with my buddy, and all he was concerned with was his leagues, constantly on his phone. I just wanted to enjoy and care about the Buffalo Bills winning. Is that so wrong?
